Chapter 16 Take Your Pills to Save Us the Trouble
Diane panicked all of a sudden; a flush crept up her face and she was overcome with awkwardness.
Christopher chuckled deeply in response and said, “What do you think? I don’t think we’ve enjoyed our
first night together yet.”
“W-We… only married due to our own needs, so…”
“That’s right, and this is exactly what I need right now.”
Diane intended to remind him that they only married because he needed a wife on paper.
Unexpectedly, her kind reminder was turned against her in a moment of panic.
With that, Christopher carried her into the bedroom and casually tossed her onto the bed.
“Please be responsible, Mrs. Wayne.”
He pressed his body against Diane’s, and his fingers fumbled with her collar as they quickly undid her
buttons. Then, he swiftly reached a hand inside.
Diane felt suffocated from the weight of his body—she was running out of air and her breaths became
harsher by the second. She wanted to resist, but her body felt weak like a ball of cotton under his
touch.
Christopher narrowed his eyes slightly as he stared at the woman below her. A hint of wickedness
lingered beneath his longing gaze which was heavy with desire.
This woman isn’t too bad at all.
Under her modest clothing was a slender and elegant figure. Her skin was as white as snow, whereas
her facial features were exquisite and feminine without looking too alluring. Lastly, his eyes lingered on
her pair of lips which spouted unkind words every now and then.
Interesting… He thought that it would’ve been quite boring and uninteresting to put up with her, but
from the looks of it, he might be wrong.
Following that, their skin rubbed against each other vigorously; the man’s breathing became rougher
after some time as the woman occasionally let out gentle moans.
As the night wore on, all that was left was a beguiling aroma of pleasure in the room. Diane wasn’t sure
of how they had eventually fallen asleep, but she found herself waking up with Christopher beside her
the next morning.
Diane was utterly shocked by the sight; even though she kept her screams inside, she bolted to the
other end of the bed in a flash.
Christopher—who was still sound asleep—stirred from the sudden movement. Then, he finally opened
his eyes lazily.
“Don’t look at me like that—we’re married, you know. You make it seem like I raped you.”
“But…”
She wanted to say that he wasn’t wrong, but she quickly swallowed her words—there was no point
arguing about that now. She’d rather get up and leave this man as soon as possible.
Once she tossed her thoughts aside, she looked for her clothes around the room. She picked up a
piece of her clothing from the edge of the bed and rolled over to the side to sit up before putting it back
on with her back facing Christopher.
“Go and buy yourself some birth control pills; take your pills to save us the unwanted trouble.”
Diane’s fingers froze as she was buttoning up her shirt. She turned to look at the man who was leaning
shirtless against the bed frame with his muscular chest in full glory.
“Sure, but I hope you can put on a condom next time. Pills are bad for a person’s health, after all.”
She turned away quickly without noticing the frown that had appeared on Christopher’s forehead.
After getting dressed, she placed her feet on the ground and prepared to stand up when numbness
shot up her legs. As a result, Diane almost collapsed on her knees. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
That piece of sh*t—he really went hard last night.
Oh no, what time is it? She couldn’t be late, right? Stella would definitely give her a hard time if she
was.
She panicked and searched for her handbag which was lying at the edge of the bed before glancing at
the time.
It was 7.15AM, and below the clock was the date—today was the 25th.
Diane thought of something all of a sudden and turned to face Christopher again.
“Can you do me a favor?”
“Speak.”
Curiosity chewed at Christopher as he caught sight of the serious look on her face.
