Millie quickly helped Rachel up. Soon, a few men surrounded them.

A man with short hair barked at Millie, “Hey, take your hands off her.”

With a glance, she immediately knew they were responsible for spiking Rachel’s drink.

“She’s my friend. I’m taking her with me,” Millie announced.

The men exchanged looks and grinned. She must be foolish to believe she could leave with a woman they had set their eyes on.

“You’d better behave. Do not press our buttons.” A man neared Millie and glowered at her.

A bald man pointed at Millie while stroking her chin. “This one looks pretty too. Why don’t we take her with us as well?”

She narrowed her eyes.

The man in the lead chuckled loudly. “She is. Let’s bring her along.”

Millie rolled her fist. “I’ll repeat one more time–get out of my way.”

However, they ignored her warning and went up to snatch the two ladies. Amid a wave of dizziness, Rachel felt someone grabbing her arm.

Millie immediately swatted the hand away. “Don’t touch her!”

She put a cap on Rachel’s head to hide her face. If news got out that Rachel was harassed in the club, all hell would break loose. So, Millie decided to protect Rachel to the best of her ability.

Rachel had always been vigilant. Why did she fall into the trap today?

“Should we touch you instead if you don’t want us to touch her?” The man pointed a finger at her. “Do you know who I am? I’m Seth Kirby of the Kirby Group!”

“What second–rate company is that? And why do you bother telling me your name? I bet you’ll wet your pants if I tell you my name!” Millie spat.

She couldn’t believe that he would show off some Kirby Group that she had never heard of.

Another man chimed in, “Hey, Seth, what did she mean? Was she looking down on you? How dare that little bitch look down on you? Wanna fuck her?”

The man who spoke had a filthy mouth that Millie wished to sew shut. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

“Motherfucker! How could you not have heard of me? You must be deaf!” Seth grabbed a beer bottle from the table and smashed it into pieces.

Millie was irritated at the chaos that unfolded when all she wanted was to enjoy her drinking session.

These men deserved to be beaten up!

“What’s with that attitude of yours?” Millie splashed a glass of alcohol across the man’s face. “Did I fucking owe you anything?

“I am being nice by not sending you behind bars after what you did to my friend. How dare you make a

scene here?”

Marching over to the foul–mouthed man, she grabbed his hand and pointed it at herself. “Here. Hit me on the head, or don’t call yourself a man!”

Her increasingly aggressive insults made the man gulp nervously.

“Hit me now!” she yelled, challenging him.

The other men exchanged uneasy looks. What was going on?

“You-” Seth glared at Millie. “Try me!” He raised the bottle in his hand with a malicious glint in his eyes.

She offered her head as a dare. Clenching his teeth, he was about to hit Millie on the head when someone dragged her away.

Soon, Seth was kicked aside.

. When Millie turned, she noticed Winston staring sternly at her.

He remarked, “Look at you, stirring up trouble again.”

It was him again.

“And who the fuck are you?” Seth fell to the ground from the kick. Looking up, he pointed a finger at Winston. “Do you know who my dad is?”
