A Flash Marriage Can Be A Treasure

Chapter 603 Return Home

Chapter 603 Return Home

After finishing a plate of barbecue, Jessie pushed away his hands, frowning, “That’s enough. I am

stuffed”

Leigh beckoned the waiter to serve some fruits.

They had been staying in the restaurant for long. When Jessie was ready to go, the restaurant had

gone empty.

Jessie took her bag but noticed Leigh still remained unmoved. She looked at him, “Aren’t you going to

hold my arm? Don’t you see how slippery the floor is? What if I stumble down? Are you going to stand

still and watch?”

Not until then did Leigh collect himself. He walked over and wrapped his arm around her waist to walk

out of the restaurant.

As they got out of the club, Leigh said, “Do you need a cab?”

Jessie remained speechless.

Leigh soon noticed that was a stupid question a few seconds later. He supported her to the car and

opened the back door.

He hopped onto the driver’s seat and fastened the safety belt. But he was too nervous to drive.

Jessie had been waiting for a while but the engine still remained silent. She stared at him, “Are you

waiting for me to drive?”

Leigh finally started the engine after fumbling for quite a while. He held tight on the steering wheel and

glanced at the rear mirrors constantly.

He used to speed up at 80 mph but now he didn’t even dare to reach 40.

He had no idea where to go after driving for a while. So he asked, “Where do you live?”

“We have a house, don’t we?” Jessie felt ridiculous, “Don’t you remember we have got married? Of

course we live in our own house! Didn’t you even buy a house for our own?”

Leigh seemed to be choked.

He drove to Tourmaline Community.

Actually, there was only a servant staying in Tourmaline Community. As Leigh seldom returned here,

the servant only came every three days.

The servant happened to stay as it was late after she refurbished the garden.

“Sir.” The servant had been staying for hours and she seldom saw Leigh show up. It was her first time

to see him coming back with a lady, who was even pregnant. So she deemed her Mrs. Lewis. Then she

greeted, “Welcome back, Mrs. Lewis.”

Jessie smiled at her, “Can I have some porridge tomorrow?”

“Sure.”

Leigh supported her upstairs to the bedroom on the second floor. He still looked nervous, having no

idea what to do next, “Can you shower yourself? I will get some clean clothes for you.”

“Are you nervous?” Jessie held his hand and chuckled, “You seem to forget everything except for your

own name ever since you saw me in the restaurant. You even seem to lose control of your body.”

Leigh fixed his eyes on her, swallowing, “Are you still alive?”

A few seconds of silence later, Jessie got him out of the bedroom with a sullen face.

Leigh stood at the door for quite a while. He wondered he should ask the servant to bring her some

clothes. But he had no idea how to say that. So he drove outside himself and walked around a clothes

shop that still remained open.

The saleslady noticed that he had bought maternity dress. So she added, “Sir, we have a shop over

there selling baby products. Would you like to have a look and get something you need?”

‘Are you crazy?’ he murmured to himself.

However, when he returned to Tourmaline Community, his hands were occupied with a dozen of bags,

while the five of which were stuffed with baby outfits. Perhaps he himself had no idea what was wrong

with his mind.

While he was going upstairs with bags, Jessie happened to walk out of the bedroom to look for him.

Her hair was still wet. Then she noticed the bags he was holding, “My baby is about to be born! Are you

sure I need some many clothes?”

“Get can get yourself changed twice a day. Or you can try it on every hour.” Leigh put the bags into the

bedroom and was about to leave. But he stopped to dry her hair while noticing her wet hair.

Meanwhile, Jessie started to rummage those bags.

As Leigh picked up every outfit that looked nice, so Jessie was pleased with that.

When she noticed the rest of those bags were stuffed with pink baby clothes, Jessie couldn’t help

laughing, “Come on, he is a boy! Are you going to fit him in those clothes for girls?”

Not until then did he realized he accidentally told the saleslady that he was going to have a girl. He was

rendered a bit awkward for getting the wrong type, “It’s okay. I can go to the shop again to get some

boys’ stuff.”

After drying her hair, Leigh went to the bedroom next door.

Leigh didn’t go for a shower. Instead, he smoked on the balcony. While staring at the lights next door, Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

he felt like dreaming when he met Jessie in the club today.

But the fact told him that he wasn’t dreaming. Everything was real!

As he finished smoking, he stood for a while on the balcony and then went to take shower.

When the shower was done, he hurried to rush to the balcony and saw the lights next door were still on

to prove her existence. Not until then did he feel relieved.

He was wondering if she had fell asleep. And he was even bothered by something weird—how was

she sleeping on the bed with such a bulging belly?

Leigh walked back and forth around the balcony. No one knew what was in his mind. Suddenly, he

noticed the lights next door went off. He was worried if there was something wrong with the wire. So he

walked out to have a check.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw her standing outside the door in pajamas.

Jessie supported her own waist with her hand, raised up her face and frowned while looking at him,

“Do you plan to leave a pregnant lady alone for sleep?”

Leigh soon collected himself. He hurried to open the door to let her in.

Then he went to get a pillow from the closet. And then he replaced the quilt with a thicker one.

When everything was done, Jessie took off her shoes to get on bed. She lay down and beckoned him

over, “Come on.”

Leigh approached.

Jessie lifted the end of her top and revealed her fair bulging belly. She placed his hand on it, “He has

been kicking naughtily when I was about seven months pregnant. But now he learns to behave himself.

Come on, try to feel him.”

He could feel warm from his palm resting against her soft belly. Leigh gazed at it and he soon noticed

there was something moving from the inside. Then he felt the kick of the baby from his palm.

Leigh went blank for such a special experience.

“Is he kicking me?” asked Leigh.

“No. He is playing with you.” Jessie smiled, “He knows you are daddy. So he wants to stay with you.

Now it’s your first encounter with your son.”

How amazing!

Leigh carefully moved his palms upwards. The baby seemed to notice that. His kick also followed as

Leigh’s palm went up.

Feeling the itch from his palm, he couldn’t help grinning.

He had fun playing with the baby. Wherever he moved his palm, the baby followed.

After a while, Leigh noticed that the baby seemed to stop. He hurried to ask, “What doesn’t he move

again?”

“Come on, everybody needs sleep.” Jessie seemed to be amused. Then she yawned, “I am a bit

sleepy. Time for bed. I need to go tomorrow.”

She slapped away his palm, drew over the pillow and lay down.

Leigh approached to ask as soon as he noticed what she just said, “Where are you going tomorrow?”

“I will tell you tomorrow.” She struggled to nudge aside to sleep and simply ignored him.

However, Leigh was suddenly rendered nervous by her seemingly careless words. He fixed his eyes on

her till he couldn’t, afraid that she would run away again.

Leigh hugged her tight. He gradually relieved himself while smelling the light fragrance of her body. He

tucked her in and fell asleep with her.

As expected, Leigh had a sound sleep tonight.

In the next morning, the servant was cooking gruel while waiting for both of them.

As the doorbell rang, the servant cleaned her hands and walked over to open the door.

Outside the door, there stood an elegant dowager, who asked decently, “Did Leigh stay here last

night?”
