The expectation in Benson's eyes slowly faded away, his face darkening. "Sierra, you've softened your stance so many times before, so why are you unwilling to do it this time? Is it because you've fallen for another man?"

“No,” Sierra answered, her tone a few decibels higher. "It's because I'm disappointed in you."

Sophie had been quite nervous earlier, worried that Benson might soften his stance. He did do so, but Sierra had managed to anger him once again. It was exactly what she wanted to see.

She poured a glass of wine and walked up to Sierra. Then, she poured the wine over her head with a pure, innocent smile.

“Sierra, I feel sorry for Benson. You don't know how to cherish such a good man like him. If you tell him now that you love him and won't break up with him, I'll have Hanson let you go immediately."

Sierra's soft hair was drenched in red wine and glued to her scalp, making her skin look even fairer. It turned her into a disheveled, cold, stubbom beauty as her eyes exuded an innate coldness.

“Benson, you're really childish. Three years ago, you forced me to choose between you and the plans. I said I could play the piano and accompany you in your business, but you insisted on having me fully by your side. You even slapped meals for days, fainting as a result and landing in the hospital. You ultimately made me give up playing the plans with this method to make me pity you.
