Chapter 1142 Depression

Theodore checked her finger. Looking at the cut, he asked worriedly, "Does it hurt?"

Little Bunny shook her head and said, "It's okay, I think it just scratched the skin a little bit."

She withdrew her fingers and naturally turned on the faucet to rinse it.

Theodore thought she found his saliva disgusting, just like how she disliked it when he touched her on

those nights. How she wished she could wash away all the traces of his scent!

Though she disliked him so much, she had been enduring it for so long. He used to think that Little

Bunny's dislike towards him was just lip service. After all, he was wealthy and influential, and his looks

were not bad. In the entertainment industry, being associated with him was like tying oneself to a

towering tree.

Was he too arrogant?

After getting back together with Little Bunny, he gradually realized the disgust and rejection that she

had towards him. Maybe it was the same before. He wasn't attentive enough, so he couldn't perceive

anything in the past.

Now, he could see everything just by looking at it.

Theodore averted his gaze and asked, "Do you want to sterilize the cut, and put a bandage on it?"

"No need, it should be fine." NôvelDrama.Org © content.

After Little Bunny stopped the bleeding and took another look, the wound was not very deep to begin

with and now it wasn't bleeding anymore and didn't hurt much.

"I'll chop the vegetables." Theodore volunteered.

"I'll handle it. You can wait outside for the meal." Little Bunny declined.

She just felt that Theodore was a bit in the way beside her. If it weren't for him just mentioning Addison,

she wouldn't have accidentally cut herself.

Did Theodore discover something?

How did Addison suddenly come up?

Little Bunny didn't dare to ask any more questions. She was afraid to explain it alone and ended up

being caught red-handed.

Theodore saw Little Bunny begin to cut vegetables with great concentration, showing no intention of

chatting with him. He then left the kitchen. He sat on the sofa, feeling very depressed. Knowing that

Little Bunny didn't like him and that their relationship was strained, he suddenly had no idea why he still

forced her to do something. He realized he had changed a lot.

"I'm going out!" Theodore stood up from the sofa, without turning his head, and just left with these

words as he walked towards the door.

"You haven't had lunch yet, right?"

"I don't feel like eating," Theodore said as he walked towards the door. He didn't explain why he didn't

want to eat or where he was going.

"Be careful on your way." She said without asking any more questions since she didn't want to know

what Theodore wasn't telling her.

Theodore let out a cold laugh, unhappy with her aloof attitude to him. Little Bunny could have at least

tried to persuade him with a casual phrase. Maybe then, he would have stayed. But the truth was she

wanted him gone.

After Theodore left, Little Bunny lost her appetite and made herself a fruit salad instead of cooking

anything else. She sat alone in the living room eating it and suddenly realized how big and empty the

space felt without Theodore there.

Theodore left in his car but never drove away from the house. He just needed some fresh air after

feeling depressed about how Little Bunny only seemed to tolerate him rather than truly care for him. He

couldn't bring himself to get angry with her because if they fought too much, she might leave him

altogether.

As soon as he stepped outside though, all that filled his mind were thoughts of Little Bunny's disdain

towards him and how indifferent she seemed towards their relationship. How could he make her fall in

love with him? What did it take for her to willingly be with someone like himself?

Frustrated beyond measure by these thoughts that plagued his mind constantly, Theodore finally caved

in and called Susan.

"What's wrong? Did you break up?" Susan answered teasingly.

"Can you say something nice for once?"

"I was right?"

"No! We didn't break up."

"You wouldn't call me if everything was fine between you two." Susan replied confidently before asking

"Did you watch Little Bunny's movie yet?"

"Yeah, I did." Sighed Theodore. He shouldn't have watched it though, since it made him feel somewhat

disgusted.

"Didn't you notice that Little Bunny and Addison have feelings for each other?" Susan deliberately said

so.

Theodore felt that calling Susan was not just to pass the time but ask for trouble for himself.

He gritted his teeth and admitted, "So is there any way to make her like me?"

Susan giggled unkindly and then laughed excessively and dramatically. Manuel was watching TV next

to Susan, feeling a bit speechless about her laughter, thinking that Theodore was bold enough to ask

Susan to help him solve the problem. Susan was only interested in matchmaking for laughs, not for real

relationships.

"Susan, can you be more serious? I'm not in a good mood right now. Ah, you wouldn't understand."

Theodore said angrily.

Since he saw Little Bunny being kissed by Addison, she went to the shower after he touched her, and

she rinse her finger because he sucked it..., he broke down.

"I understand, I've been through it too," Susan said, putting away her smile. "When Manuel was with

other women, I almost died of heartache. But Theodore, the relationship between me and Manuel is

different from yours and Little Bunny's. Even if we hurt each other, we still love each other. However,

Little Bunny doesn't love you. Everyone can see it except for you who are blind to the truth. So

whatever you do now is just making things difficult for Little Bunny and forcing her to do something she

doesn't want to do. I advise you to let go of this idea early on and set her free so that she can pursue

her love freely without any hindrance from you. Otherwise, if you keep clinging onto her like this, she

will have to sneak around behind your back with Addison."

Susan spoke without taking a breath.

She took a deep breath and summed up, "Suddenly I feel like Little Bunny is quite pitiful."
