Chapter 9
Chapter 9
"Book it is." He stated.
All my life I had been appreciated if I did something good or discovered something important, so I kept
staring at him, hoping for him to see more.
But this man was impossible ,I couldn't even find the slightest emotion in his empty eyes. He just kept
staring at me with that cold emotion of his.
I thought that these clues were something important so when I discovered them, I thought he would
give me some sort of appreciation but no I was wrong.
Soon I noticed his left hand moving in his pocket as he skillfully took out a pair of keys and took long
strides towards me.
I don't know why but his presence radiated a powerful aura from him and as soon as he moved closer
to me, I could no longer look him, his presence made me weak.
Slowly slowly, I felt him removing my chains as I kept my eyes on the floor. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
"I will arrange a congratulations ceremony in the evening, which you will have to attend and where you
will receive the second hint in the ceremony." He stated, and then vanished.
Soon some professionals came and I was taken to the guest room, which had been made into a whole
dressing room. Hundreds of dresses' were hanging with loads of makeup and hair items waiting for me
on the tables.
Soon I felt myself taking long strides towards those dresses hanging in front of me. I moved touching
the soft, silk fabric of every dress. I now stood in front of a black fishtail maxi. It was a very simple silk
fish tail with some criss cross on the collar bone area.
I really liked the dress until my gaze fell on the price which stated ten thousand dollars and then I fell
still. I had never seen ten thousand dollars and today I had my hands grazing on its fabric.
I started moving towards the other dresses until I felt a hand on my back.
"We will have that one" Ozymandius pointed to the silk fishtail.
I opened my mouth to interject but until that time he was already gone.
I was taken into that dressing room where I was fitted into that silk fishtail. To be honest I did not feel
any happiness wearing it, instead I felt guilt gushing me down. There were so many people in this world
that were homeless, starving, dying and they needed this money more than me.
After the fitting I was taken to the makeup section in which my skin was huffed with loads of makeup. I
had never put on any makeup till this day so my skin was literally aching and the most annoying part
was when they put on those fake lashes on my lids. It literally felt like something was walking on my
eyes.
Soon the makeup and my hair were done and the artist told me that she had given me a soft subtle
glam look. It had literally been two hours since I was sitting here, getting my skin and hair destroyed so
the idea of freedom was the best thing I had heard all day long.
"Can you please pull my zip up" I asked the stylist , pointing at my back.
She smiled at me and came close to me, when suddenly every staff member backed down, stopped
doing whatever they were doing and bowed their heads down. My eyes moved to their eyes which
were full of fear and then towards their hands which were shaking.
And soon entered the reason: Ozymandius and for some reason, this time I also kept my head bowed.
I soon felt him moving towards me, his minty breath on my ears and his hands moving on my bare back
as tingles shot where ever he touched me.
His hands soon found the zip as he started to zip my dress, with his breath direct into my ears.
He soon moved forward and took my hand in his, helping me to stand and then he linked his arm into
mine. That was when, I moved my gaze towards the greek god he looked in his black tuxedo.
"Now my love, I want you to listen carefully. I don't want you to leave my sight for even a second today,
and if you do, you will face the consequences." He whispered, his mouth leaving my ears as he placed
a rough kiss on my neck.
So arm in arm, I followed him out of the room to the great hall. It was fully decorated with white roses
and tables. The stage was also decorated with white roses and two velvet chairs.
Flowers were a key to a girls heart, but this decoration did not mean anything to me. I felt like a slave
who was forced to obey his masters commands.
As soon as we entered, everyone bowed their heads down and a soft music started playing.
Ozymandius's grip got tighter on my arm and soon we were standing on the stage with thousands of
eyes staring at me.
