EPISODE 19 Ancient age of wolves
MOON STONE PACK
Hazel placed her hand over her mouth as she let out a yawn. She haven’t had a good sleep for days now. Planning and putting things together for the wedding has been too much work for her.
“If it was around the ancient age when wolves were fated to one mate then the alpha won’t have gone through this heartbreak. And maybe Madison wouldn’t have left him because she would feel the pain and loneliness of being away from her mate.” Meagan remembered reading about the ancient wolf mating.
“Maybe I would have been the alpha’s mate. It would be great to be a Luna of a powerful pack.” Brianna thought.
Hazel stiffed back a laugh. “Stop day dreaming, that ancient age is long gone. Try to focus on other men like you have decided.”
Meagan’s mind drifted back to the alpha’s story that they had shared with her. At first she didn’t like the alpha because he was too selective about women and for rejecting Brianna without even considering her feelings. But the story about his past relationship changed her perspective about the alpha. She felt pity for him because of what he had to go through. It must have been hard for him dealing with the rejection as a wolf and getting over his feelings for the first woman he has ever loved his whole life. The alpha must be having a hard time falling in love with another woman just like how she was scared of men after what Max did to her.
“So that’s the story about our alpha.” Hazel sighed.
“It must be hard for him to put his wolf piece back together.” Meagan mumbled but enough for them to hear.
“Years has passed so I am sure his wolf is back in one piece.” Hazel replied.
Brianna looked at her watch as she moved away from the window pane. “Time flies fast, it almost call time for our duty at the infirmary.”
Hazel took a glance up at the wall clock. “We still have about thirty minutes extra to have a conversation.”
Brianna nodded in agreement. “Did you see how cute Jeremy looked yesterday?”
“Oh yes! How can I miss his sexiness? He has changed a lot.” Hazel replied.
“I drooled over him last night and when he asked me for a dance I didn’t take time to say yes.” Brianna closed her eyes as she placed her hand across her chest. “I can still remember how hard his chest was against my palms.”
Hazel exchanged glances with Meagan. They began to doubt if she was the same girl who was head over heels for the alpha brooding over rejection few minutes ago.
“Jeremy looked so handsome in his warrior costume.” Brianna reopened her eyes.
“Yes. He looked great. And whoever picked that costume did a great job because he won someone over with it.” Hazel said.
Brianna shook her head as she sat on the couch again. “He told me that I looked beautiful while my eyes undressed his Samson like body.” She laughed.
Meagan had no idea of who they were talking about so she decided to ask. “Who is Jeremy?”
“Jeremy is the alpha cousin. And guess what? I think he likes you, Brianna. But you have been too blind to see it because you have a crush on the alpha.” Hazel answered.
Brianna smiled dropped. “No that’s not true, I mean he doesn’t like me. No.. fine.. you maybe right because he tried to flirt with me last night but I didn’t allow it.”
“Because the alpha was close by?” Hazel asked.
“Not really… I don’t know.” Her response was sharp and immediate.
Keppa Jeremy is a twenty five years old wolf. A keppa wolf belongs to a group of hunters in a pack. Jeremy has a manly Samson physique. His aquamarine eyes were orb round and it always shined with delight. People tend to compliment his cheerful character. He has a playful tune as if he was a comedian. And his bubbly personality had made Brianna enticed by him last night. She fell in love with his charms and had simply sat with him throughout the night just to listen to him. Jeremy is related to the alpha and he has always liked Brianna.
During his three month stay in moon stone pack serving as a trainee under the leader of the hunters group few years ago, he never got close to Brianna because he knew she liked the alpha and she had also left the pack a month after he moved to the pack.
“Okay, I’ll be honest with you girls. Jeremy is not a bad guy and I can give him a chance if he wants something serious with me.” Brianna toyed with the tip of her hair.
Dancing and spending some time with Jeremy was beginning to stir up feelings in Brianna.
“I am sure Jeremy knows what he wants in a mate. And you could be the perfect choice for him.” Hazel said loudly and with a serious look on her face.
“Are you sure?” Brianna asked.
Hazel nodded. “Do you want me to talk to him?”
“No. It’s very sweet of you to look out for me. You always want the best for me. Thanks Hazel.” Brianna smiled.
“You are welcome, Brianna. Just make sure you catch my bouquet after I tie the knot with your brother.” Hazel joked.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
Brianna laughed. “Just hand it over to your best friend, Meagan.”
Meagan looked up at Brianna. “Huh? Were you talking to me?” She asked.
“You weren’t listening to me?” Brianna’s forehead drew together.
“I was listening to you.” Meagan forced a smile on her face.
