Chapter 562 Let's Do It Together
Chapter 562 Let's Do It Together
Maybe yes and maybe not.
According to his temperament, if he really liked someone, he would not hesitate to pursue her. In short,
he wouldn't have minded taking the first move.
Now he would never give other people a chance to take Jean away from him.
As for Moore, Zed didn't know what was going on in his mind.
He knew that Moore loved Jean and it was highly unlikely that he would fall in love with Avery since he
was emotionally attached.
Such a gorgeous girl secretly loved Moore for so many years. 'Is it my negligence to not see Moore as
a competitive rival?' Zed wondered.
Zed frowned thinking about this. It looked like that he should pay more attention on Avery's love affair.
This way he could try his best to help Avery with her pursuit for Moore.
It would not only meet Jean's wish but also clear the dark cloud hovering above his head.
After all, no matter how much he trusted Moore, there was no guarantee that Moore would not make a
move on Jean.
Thinking of which, Zed gazed out of the window with his deep eyes and a touch of certainty written on
his face.
Soon, the three rested until 11:00 p.m. and then they all came out of their rooms.
Jean was carried by Zed to the couch in the living room and she looked at them worriedly.
"You must convince Avery. Moore, you were classmates with Avery, so your words will mean more to
her than Zed's. Talk to her, tell her not to overthink things. It will be nice to take her away from the
celebrity life and show her some ordinary joys. And we will take responsibility for everything."
Jean looked at Moore and spoke in a persuasive tone. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
"Ok, I understand." Moore nodded at Jean.
"Jean, are you sure you want to wait in the living room?" Zed asked with concern.
"Yes," Jean nodded and said. "I believe that Avery will follow you here tonight. As long as you try your
best to talk to her, she will definitely come. So, I will wait here."
"Alright!" Zed was convinced by Jean's confidence. "Be careful, if you need anything, just call Zelda,"
Zed advised.
"I heard you. It's late, you guys should go now!" Jean said and pushed Zed.
Zed and Moore looked at each other and sighed. Slowly, they walked out of the house.
They didn't walk far when they heard Jean shouting behind them, "Moore, don't treat Avery as an
international superstar tonight, instead take her as your school fellow."
Moore looked back in surprise and saw Jean was waving at him with a smile. Then he nodded his head
and they continued their walk.
A playful look showed on Zed's face when he heard what Jean had told Moore.
Tonight, Jean was trying her best to ask Moore to talk to Avery. It seemed that she had put her heart
and soul to make things happen between Moore and Avery.
'Alright!' thought Zed happily. Now he was happy to have Jean's encouragement. Originally, he was
going to make things work between Moore and Avery but now he had Jean's support.
They drove all the way to the hospital. Since it was night, there was no one else but guards.
They stopped the car near the gate for the convenience of leaving.
Getting out of the car, they walked towards the inpatient area.
The corridor was so quiet and peaceful. This atmosphere put them at ease.
Zed and Moore walked straight towards Avery's inpatient ward.
After a turn, they saw two tall hunks guarding Avery's ward. In a matter of seconds they realized they
were Avery's bodyguards.
Zed and Moore looked at each other feeling trapped. Immediately, Zed lifted his arms to check what
time it was.
The watch showed it was 12:00 a.m.
The two bodyguards stood against the wall and kept an eye on all directions.
Three minutes later, Avery's door opened and Albert walked out. He glanced at Zed and Moore and
then had a little chat with the bodyguards. A while later the bodyguards followed him and left.
"I wonder what he did to get the bodyguards leave," Moore said, looking curious.
"Hey, we need to hurry up. Albert won't stall them for long," Zed replied. Zed patted Moore on the
shoulder and then walked towards Avery's ward.
Swallowing the saliva that was in his mouth, Moore followed Zed.
Standing in front of the door, Zed looked around to confirm he wasn't being watched.
Avery felt quite troubled today and was going to fall asleep when she heard the door being pushed
open. She got alarmed and asked, "Who's that?"
"It's us. Zed and Moore," Zed replied in a lowered voice. He walked to Avery to let her see his face.
With the moonlight, Avery could see Zed and Moore clearly. Tears of shame dropped from her face.
"I'm sorry, it's all my fault today. I didn't know what was wrong with me. Adolf understood everything..."
Hearing Avery blame herself, Zed decided to comfort her. "It's okay. It doesn't matter whether Adolf can
see through things or not. Now that we are here, everything will be fine. Avery, did you think it
through?"
"Think through what?" Avery wiped the tears on her face and asked, confused.
Zed couldn't help but frown. He looked at Moore for some help.
Something seemed off to him.
"Didn't Albert tell you that we are going to get you out of the hospital tonight?" Zed asked Avery, feeling
nervous.
"No, he didn't! After Adolf took my phone, I was concerned that you might be worried about me so I told
him to give you a message. But when he returned, he said nothing!" Avery looked at Zed and looked at
Moore, then asked, "What are you doing at the hospital so late? Are you here just to visit me?"
"It seems my previous feelings were right." Hearing this, a bitter smile showed on Zed's face. "Avery,
we don't have much time left. Are you willing to get out of the hospital with us and meet Jean?"
"What?" Avery looked at Zed in surprise as if she didn't understand a word Zed was speaking.
Seeing Avery's reaction, Zed hinted Moore to speak up.
Moore walked up, looked at Avery who was completely at a loss, and said gently, "The thing is, we
know what has happened to you and are here to help you. Avery, if you want to get out of this hospital
and live a few days of undisturbed life, we will need to get you out of this hospital now.
We are not doing this out of sympathy and of course, you don't need our sympathy. Am I right? I am
telling you this as your schoolmate. I sincerely invite you to stay for a couple of days. It will be fun and I
will show you around this city."
Having finished his sentence, Moore sighed and waited for Avery's reply.
