Chapter 31 Who Traps Whom?
Chapter 31 Who Traps Whom?
She clearly saw that when Susie turned around to toast her, Susie secretly put some powder into the
cup while no one was paying attention.
Although she still didn't know what Sussie added, she knew that it was definitely not a good thing.
After thinking for a while, Jane put a glass of wine beneath another wine, then picked up the bottle and
filled both cups. She smiled and said, "It's boring to drink alone. Since everyone likes to joke, why don't
we drink together?"
Seeing Jane pour the wine herself, a satisfying smile appeared on Susie's face. She looked at Adrian
beside her.
She moved closer and spoke something to Larry, but the expression on Larry's face was also very
ambiguous. He looked at Jane with an obscene look.
"All right, the matter is settled today. No one is allowed to mention it again. We'are all friends in the
future. Larry, come over and propose a toast to Miss. Carter. Don't trouble her any more."
Susie was still playing peacemaker and had no idea that Jane secretly switched the two cups when
they were talking.
When she came back, She took the glass of wine she had given to Jane.
She didn't know it and could not wait to pick up the cup, "Jane, what happened in the past, I do not
care about that anymore. As long as you drink that cup of wine, I guarantee you will not have anything
to do with Larry, I certainly will not cause you any more trouble, what do you say?"
Then she drank up the wine in her hand and looked at Jane with a smile.
Jane lowered her eyes and a mocking smile curled around the corners of her lips, but obscured by her
wine glass, she wasn't noticed.
She glanced and saw they were looking at her with mockery and contempt.
She knew that these high-minded rich guys actually looked down on her. Few people would really like
to make friends with her, but they all wanted to scold her for being so shameless as a mistress.
She smiled and didn't reveal these people's intentions. Instead, she very cooperatively raised her wine
cup towards Susie. "I don't want anything to do with Larry either. As long as he does not bother me, of
course I'll stay away from him in the future."
The smile on Susie's face froze for a moment, but she did not lose her temper. She looked at Jane,
who drank the wine in one gulp.
She secretly sneered in her heart, and there was a flash of complacent in her eyes.
"All right. It's all past. Let's stop talking and continue drinking."
Shona took the opportunity to muddy the waters and incidentally create a lively atmosphere.
Jane smiled without saying anything.
Susie looked at her and the corners of her lips twisted into a satisfied smile. "Little b*tch, I am going to
let you be smug for a while longer. Let us see if you can still be so rampant when the drug kicks in."
She said this through clenched teeth and in a voice so low that no one but Larry could hear her.
They sat down and talked on. Jane suddenly rubbed her temple and frowned. "I don't feel well. Is there
a room upstairs? I want to go upstairs and rest."
The others didn't know why. They only thought she had drunk too much, so they rushed to flatter her.
Susie grinned, thinking that the medicine she had just given to her must have worked. She looked at
Adrian and there was something sinister in her expression.
"This is the hotel of Jones family. I will take you upstairs and ask the waiter to give you the suite I used
to live in."
Seeing that Jane was too sleepy to sit still, Susie stood up with a smile and came to help her. From NôvelDrama.Org.
Jane didn't refuse her, as if she was exhausted. She leaned on Susie and followed her upstairs.
Adrian, staying where he was, watched them and poured himself another drink. He pulled his bow tie,
looking as if he was doomed to win.
Larry also looked in that direction, and a mocking smile flashed across her lips. Then she pretended to
know nothing and went on lowering her head to drink.
Jane didn't say anything all the way. When she reached the upstairs room, Susie threw her on the bed
and snatched her phone from her hand. She sent a message to Jeffery in Jane's tone, asking him to
pick her up.
"Jane, you must thank me. I am afraid you are too lonely at night, so I found you a man especially.
Enjoy yourself tonight."
