Chapter 38 It is our First Day

Chapter 38 It is our First Day

Spencer was stunned.

He looked back at her in disbelief.

Aleena thought it was unusual to see him being stupefied and was amused by it.

“What did you say?” Spencer said it carefully.

So careful expression, soft eyes with grievances and expectations softened Aleena’s heart.

Aleena sighed softly.

‘Follow your heart’, that was what she was thinking now.

‘Don't scruple again, be bold for the last time.’

If she won, she would be happy in the rest of her life.

She had seen all of his actions during these days, and she admitted that she could not let go.

Since there she could let him go, it was better to accept it.

Aleena took a deep breath and looked up with a smile and said to him, “Well, would you like to try? You

and me, from a brand new start.”

Spencer was stunned again.

Aleena was nervous looking at him being silent.

Why did he react like that?

She frowned.

Suddenly Spencer stretched out and tightly embraced her in arms. Even if he was excited, he avoided

her belly, not directly hit it.

Aleena was frightened and took a short gasp of air, then she relaxed herself.

His hand circled her tightly, afraid of her escape.

Aleena froze for a long time before slowly reaching out to embrace him, patted his back.

“Today is our first day.” Spencer said in her ear in unprecedented excitement.

Summer nodded, rubbing her hair against his neck, which was faintly itchy.

“Aleena, I'm glad you're willing to accept me.” Said Spencer.

Aleena smiled, “I have tried so many times to forget you, but I find that I can't. Instead of wasting time, I

better follow my heart... But if you are not kind to me, I will certainly leave.”

Spencer laughed, “I won’t, we will be together for a lifetime.”

Aleena wanted to say something, but Spencer buried his head into her shoulder with some fatigue.

Two people embraced together for a long time quietly, as if they could embrace till the end of life.

...

Late at night.

Travis stumbled out of the bar with smell of alcohol. A few buttons on the shirt was untied, clothes was

wrinkled and messy, as if he had changed into another person. He was no longer the gentle charming

gentlemen.

He had not been out for long, he stumbled directly against the tree trunk and began to vomit.

The acid water in the stomach was to come out, and tears were almost out of eyes.

“Why can't I find her...” Travis looked up at the night sky. There were no stars in the sky that night.

He was on the verge of breaking down.

It seemed that no matter where he looked, he could not find her.

“What shall I do...” Travis hit the tree trunk with hatred, his eyes reddening.

“Dude, are you ok ?” A man in a hoodie whose features could not be seen clearly walked to him.

“I'm fine.” Travis waved his hand. “Don't worry about me.”

The man curled his lip and suddenly slapped the back of his neck.

Travis had no time to react and was knocked unconscious.

The man pretended nothing had happened, took his arms like he was nursing a drunk friend and turned

away.

...

Aleena woke up from dream with sweat on her forehead in panic.

“What's the matter? Are you all right?” Spencer was startled, but immediately got up to pour a cup of

warm water for her, pulled a tissue to wipe her sweat.

“...I am fine, thank you.” Aleena took the water and shook her head with her chest still heaving.

“It was a dream. Don't be afraid.” Spencer felt distressed to see her to be frightened, “Did you have a

bad dream?”

“No, it's all right, it's all right.” Aleena shook her head and gave him a reassuring smile.

Spencer nodded and reached out his hand to stroke her hair, giving her the greatest comfort.

Aleena, caressing the chest, looked out of the window. It was dark.

This made her feel more and more uneasy.

...

Travis woke up feeling head heavy, and the feeling of hangover was all over him now.

He shook his head to try to stay awake, only to feel dizzier.

As he shook his head, he realized that he could not be free.

The chain that held him rattled whenever he moved.

He frowned, quickly accepting that he was chained in, looked up and around.

But there was nothing but darkness and emptiness.

Then the door opened and the man in the hoodie came in.

Travis could only see his chin and his smiling lips.

“Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?!” Travis frowned.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
