Chapter 23
He saw her naked
Elina studied Sambas as he talks, and then stood up to leave with the plate in his hands.
Though she couldn’t see him. She held his pants when he was able to stand.
“Please could you help me with my glasses? I can’t see right now, and it’s bad. I need my glasses to stay alive.”
She pouted.
“I shouldn’t do that, the master order Aziel not to give you your glasses.”
“You could get it without him knowing, I’m sure he won’t be mad.”
“Are you for real, if the master gets mad, you won’t survive his wrath? You should be grateful he was in a good mood else, you would have stripped yesterday and taken into the ice room.”
“There’s an Ice room.”
“Yes, that’s where most guards are sent to, they stripped off their clothes and poured cold water on, inside the iced room. You know what ice means. It’s freezing in there..”
She did feel the cold as he was saying it.
“He didn’t send you there, even when he had every right to..”
“I would just stay here then, I could deal with the smells and without my glasses.”
She let go of his hands.
He chuckled.
“I’ll go get your glasses..”
she smiled. And heard his footsteps, moving away from her, until she heard the door shut.
She exhaled.
An iced room. She said it, he was no ordinary man, Kenzo was a monster!
That’s it, she got a name for him.
Monster Kenzo.
Suit him so well.
She would someday have her revenge on him. Then he would know how she felt.
Looks like that would never happen to her, not in her current state, he would tear her apart feed her body to his bloody dogs. What could he be doing now?
Forgotten he locked her up again, for what, spill the chicken porridge on the old man’s suit. He didn’t seem to like the old man. Shouldn’t he be grateful she spilled it on him?
Besides she had helped him.
That’s how it seems to her.
She was right, she helped him. Get the old man quite easily out of the mansion he couldn’t have done it on his own without her help.
When she was just trying to help him, this was all she got, betrayer!
He should know that, yet he hurt her.
That bastard!
“Here are your glasses, you didn’t hear me come in, what were you thinking?”
“When am I getting out of here?”
“Soonest.”
“That doesn’t sound like I’m getting out.”
“You would get out. You should change into the clothes I brought.”
She saw the clothes beside her, she had completely forgotten he gave her something to change into. A pair of shorts and a big shirt.
Doesn’t seem like a new cloth to her and it’s a male dress.
“Whose clothes is this?”
“I shouldn’t say.”
“It’s male’s clothing.”
“Right.”
“Who owns its then, yours, Aziel?”
“I can’t say.”
“There’s no female in this mansion right.”Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
“There isn’t.”
“Why,”
“They show signs of weakness, and master doesn’t want that. But there’re two females though, they don’t stay here, they stay outside the mansion, a thrown stone from here. He keeps them and uses them whenever he wants.”
“Are they slaves?”
“Why did you say that.”
“Master always has slaves, don’t they?”
“Well, he bought those girls. And they don’t step out of the mansion, always locked in.”
She heaved a sign. Ain’t they just like her. All locked up. The only difference was that she wasn’t bought by him. He sure would maltreat them. Torture them, as he did to her, how could she ever forgive him.
He was inhuman.
“What are you thinking about, that you’re just like them..”
He laughed. Shortly.
“You don’t know how lucky you’re. You want to see how ruthless he can be, I would show you one day, how he treats people like you.”
“Still doesn’t make sense, why would he treat people like an animal.”
“You want to know?”
“Yes.”
“Then stay and find out.”
She wore her glasses, seeing his face, now.
He wore black jeans and a black shirt.
What with him and Black.
“And you must have been wondering why I was stalking you, the master sent me and you’ve got no choice but stick to see my sick face every day. Because he had assigned me to protect you. You can call me your shadow.”
She chuckled. And the sound sounded strange to her. Well, she had been so sad for days, and not a genuine smile.
And now she did have one on her face.
“Thank you for being here that night. Just wondering what I would have done.”
“It’s okay, I’m going back to work. See you later.”
She nodded and watched him walk away from her and out of the door.
She wasn’t gonna cry for them again. They hurt her, yes. But she had shed enough tears for them.
Standing, slowly she stripped herself of the torn gown she had been wearing for days now. Staring at her naked body, she tore off the plaster on the side of her stomach. Revealing the bullet wound on her stomach. She ran her fingers over it. And touched it. Feeling it. Her body looked so pale. Her skin wasn’t as bright anymore.
How she was shot. Pushing Kenzo aside and got hit instead. The pains she felt. The bullet pierced deep into her body.
He had pleaded with her that night, to stay alive, while she was in his arms.
The Kenzo that night was different from the one in the daytime.
Does he have a switch?
Which he turns on, every time.
Seems like he does.
She needed a shower to get that thought off her head. She doesn’t want to dwell on them.
The door opened just when she was about to pick up the clothes. And Kenzo came in. Their eyes met. And he runs them up down her body.
She screamed.
“Get out! Pervert!”
His eyes were still fixed on her body.
“Get out!” She yelled.
“Why should I?”
“Privacy mister! Privacy!” She drawled.
At least he came alone without Aziel, he would have seen her nakedness as well.
His eyes didn’t move an inch away from her body. Instead, he stares darkly at her. The stare that she doesn’t understand, why he was looking at her like that.
“Get out!” She hurled her dress on him.
He turned, made way to the door, and shut it behind him.
She felt so embarrassed, why was he here, what does he want, why did he come a moment later.
Sambas hadn’t shut the door either, it was all his fault, else she would have known he was coming.
“Oh!” She clasped her hand over her mouth.
She had called him a Pervert.
