CEO’s Surrender: With You, I Can Never Win

Chapter 248

Chapter 248

Finley sat down angrily.

This man said yesterday that he would respect my choice, but he went back on his word today. He backed and filled as he always did.

“I will become dependent if you are too protective of me,” Finley complained during breakfast.

“When the time is ripe, I will let you give full play of your potential, Mrs. Turner.” Bryan stuffed one boiled egg into Finley’s mouth.

It took Finley a lot of effort to chew and swallow the egg. “Okay. Do you want me to stay at home for the whole day?”

“At three o’clock in the afternoon, I’ll take you to a place.”

“Oh, okay.”

It was three o’clock in the afternoon.

The stadium was supposed to be full of people.

Finley found the stadium empty when she got out of the car with Bryan.

Her voice echoed in the spacious and empty stadium.

Finley walked hand in hand with Bryan and then sat down. “Do you want to play basketball?”

Bryan wore black sportswear instead of suits today.

He looked bright today and less domineering.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

“I will have a fight here.”

“Here? A fight? With whom?” Interested, Finley immediately sat straight up and raised her head.

There came a noise.

It was caused by the footsteps.

Finley looked at the door.

Andy in white sportwear appeared with a basketball in his hand.

“Didn’t you mention a fight? Why did he bring here a basketball?” Finley was a bit disappointed.

Well… I wanted to witness a physical fight between them.

Was I a bit evil?

Andy walked over with the basketball in his arms. He glanced at Finley, put down his bag, and took out a bottle of water for Bryan. “Do you like some water?”

Bryan glanced at Finley and said, “Go buy me one bottle.”

Finley said, “I…”

Why? Didn’t Andy gift you one?

Screw you!

Reluctant, Finley still ran to buy water.

Bryan just wanted to drive Finley away for a word with Andy.

After Finley left, Bryan said to Andy, “I will do nothing without pay. If I win, you give her up and stay away from her.”

“What if I win?” Andy looked up at Bryan with determination in his eyes.

Andy was the lead man in the basketball team of Capital University.

Bryan was almost 30 years old, so Andy was at the advantage in physical strength and agility.

“If you win, I’ll give you a chance to make a confession.” Anyway, Finley wouldn’t accept his hand.

It wouldn’t work even if he had one hundred chances.

“Okay, deal.”

Then, Finley reappeared with water.

She bought three bottles.

One was for Bryan, and the other was for Andy.

Andy saw the water and stretched his hand for one though he had three bottles in his bag.

The water from Finley had a different meaning for Andy.

Before Andy touched the bottle, Bryan took it, opened it, and drank it.

Andy wouldn’t want the water I drank.

“Do you want it?” Bryan asked while looking at Andy coldly.

Standing between the two men, Finley felt embarrassed.

She reached out her hand for that bottle of water.

Alright, I would give no water to Andy, okay?

Meanwhile, Andy stretched out his hand. He grabbed that bottle of water, opened it, and drank it. Bryan was stunned.

I drank that bottle of water…
