CEO’s Surrender: With You, I Can Never Win

Chapter 266

Chapter 266

Finley went back to the villa with Rory.

In the living room on the first floor, Rory’s wife, Mila, was playing on the sofa with the child in her arms.

The child on the sofa was like a delicate doll.

“Mila,” Finley greeted.

Mila smiled at Finley gently, “Finley, did you sleep well last night? The waves here are loud. Since you’re from Capital City, you may find it disturbing.”

“No. I am highly adaptable to the environment.” Finley beamed.

Mila looked sorry because she felt that she failed to take good care of Finley.

“You are Rory’s sister, so you are my honored guest. I will prepare a seafood feast for you this noon.”

Mila picked up the child and handed it to Rory.

Rory skillfully carried the child.

The child was about seven months old, and her eyes were full of spirit.

Finley loved this child.

“Rory, may I carry Nina?” Finley rubbed her hands.

She wanted to practice since her goal was to have a child with Bryan.

“Of course.”

Rory handed the child to Finley.

Finley took the child as she did to a treasure. She loved the baby. Her moves were careful in fear that the baby might get hurt.

“Nina, smile at your sister,” Finley talked to the baby.

Nina wore a pink dress, blinked her big eyes, and followed Finley to grin.

So lovely! Finley wanted to give Nina a kiss.

“No. You are my sister, so she will call you auntie.”

“Auntie?! It makes me sound like an old woman.” Finley looked aggrieved.

I was still a girl.

“Back then, if Gates could leave with us, your child with him might be the childhood sweetheart of Nina now,” Rory teased.

“Ahem, ahem… Rory, come on!” Finley turned her face with embarrassment.

“Every trainee thought that you and Gates were a perfect match. Alas, what a strange fate!

“What a strange fate!” Finley narrowed her eyes slightly.

If the news that Gates was still alive had come earlier…

I wouldn’t mess with Bryan.

Three days later.

There was one hour to go before Finley took action.

Finley took out her mobile phone, which she had turned off several days ago, and turned it on.

She was hesitating whether to call Bryan or send him a message.

This task was dangerous.

Would Bryan die of anger if I died in this mission? Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

Finley hesitated for a long time and couldn’t make her mind to call Bryan.

After Finley turned her phone on, the positioning system in her phone sent signal to the satellite.

Beep!

Harry heard the alarm.

“Mr. Turner, good news. Mrs. Turner turned on her phone, and we got her location. She is in Sea City. It will cost two hours for us to drive there.”

“Go get the helicopter ready.”

Bryan picked up his phone to call Finley.

Finley trembled and almost threw her phone away when the call from Bryan came.

How did he know that I turned on my phone?

Would he come to take me home?

I had promised Rory. I had to finish the task.

Finley immediately turned off her phone and put it back in her pocket.

“Sorry, the number you dialed is power-off.”

The connection broke all of a sudden.

Harry came with a computer in his arms. “Mr. Turner, the signal disappeared.”
