CEO’s Surrender: With You, I Can Never Win

Chapter 296

Chapter 296

Finley warned herself to be vigilant.

However, I wouldn’t find out what Tricia was up to till I did what she wanted me to.

“Okay. My major is computing, so I have no place to make perfumes. Please book the laboratory for me.”

“Okay. I’ll book it right away. You may go there in the afternoon.”

Tricia left ecstatically.

It looked like she worked hard for the Keith Group.

Finley bought the materials for the perfume in the wet market during the lunch break.

The peach blossoms and the sweet-scented osmanthus were the important materials for Spring Flower and Autumn Moon.

The ratio of those ingredients was critical.

Finley spent the whole afternoon in the laboratory.

Tricia said that she had classes in the afternoon, so she didn’t stay in the laboratory with Finley.

The sun shone in the room through the window.

From the reflection, she saw a head.

Finley looked back and saw nobody outside the window.

Finley continued her work, and that head appeared again, looking skeptical.

“Who is it?” Finley put down the vessel and walked out of the laboratory.

This was the corridor outside the laboratory.

Finley saw a familiar figure, and it was Vivien, her roommate, rather than Tricia.

“Vivien, why are you here?” Finley asked with confusion.

“Finley, I want a word with you. I’ve been looking for you for the whole afternoon. You are here.” Vivien pulled Finley by the hand and walked along the corridor.

Finley looked back at the laboratory.

Then, she narrowed her eyes and followed Vivien away.

As soon as Finley left, a figure with a mask on the face sneaked in to the laboratory.

This was the corridor far away from the laboratory.

Vivien held Finley by the hand and said, “Do you know that I don’t live in the old dormitory? After the death of Delia, I don’t dare to live there.”

“Good for you. I seldom live in the dormitory,” Finley said flatly.

Finley always kept a distance from Vivien.

“I know. People say that you are close to the Turner family. Is Evan, the transfer student, your boyfriend?” Vivien asked.

“No. He is a little brother for me,” Finley answered honestly.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

In her eyes, Evan was a little boy.

“Oh, are you sure? Vivien asked with joy in her eyes.

“Cut to the chase,” Finley said impatiently. She couldn’t stand it anymore.

“… I saw him on the basketball court just now. He looks handsome when playing basketball. He isn’t inferior to Andy at all. I have a crush on him. Could you give me his contact information? Or, can you introduce him to me? We have been roommates for three years, so you will help me, won’t you?”

Finley hated people who threatened her with friendship. She would help if Vivien didn’t use the last sentence. Moreover, she didn’t think that she was close with Vivien,

“I’m busy today. Let’s talk about the introduction later. I can’t give you his phone number without hist permission.” Finley turned around to go back to the laboratory.

Vivien stopped Finley from leaving and said, “You don’t want to help me at all, do you? You like Evan, don’t you?”

“I like his brother, Finley said casually.
