I have to admit, Rolin is incredibly capable. Three months later, my design drafts became the centerpiece of

his clothing brand's first main line of products. They were unprecedentedly popular, and the sel- through rate hit new highs.

My name, Elizabeth, was no longer tied to Leo. The sense of liberation was overwhelming.

Given that the clothing company embraced unique styles and had a relaxed approach to dress codes, I decided to return to my signature look.

I wore a black mini skirt, thigh-high boots, and winged eyeliner. I even tried the dreadlocks I'd always wanted. At first glance, Leo probably didn't even recognize me. "Liz, I don't mean to sound old-fashioned, but that skirt is pretty short.

Here, cover up so you can sit more comfortably," he whispered gently.

I burst out laughing at his awkward demeanor.

"And about Leo," Rolin whispered, "his company has strong distribution channels; we need to cooperate with them this time. I hope that's okay with you."

That's totally fine. I can separate personal matters from work.

After a few rounds of drinks, the room began to buzz with the lightheadedness of tipsiness.

I leaned back in my seat and did a quick calculation. With just two or three more successful projects, I could afford to fund my studies in Paris all on my own.

Then, another round of toasts began. It's the unavoidable part of socializing.

Although I can handle my liquor, today's endless rounds were starting to take their toll.

When it was my turn, everyone shouted merrily, "Fil it up for our great designer! Fill it up for Elizabeth!"

Seeing everyone so happy, I didn't want to dampen the spirits.

"Alright, alright, I'll drink!" I said with a laugh, raising my glass.

Just as I was about to drink, someone gently grabbed my hand and downed the contents of my glass in one swift motion.

I looked up, startled, to see Leo standing there.

After all those times he shielded Luna from drinks, tonight, he finally stepped in for me.
