Chapter 3 She Didn't Want to Piss Him Off
Chapter 3 She Didn't Want to Piss Him Off
"Are you dazed?"
Harriet came back with her sense hearing the voice, "Nothing, I just recalled the conversation with Mr.
Black in the restaurant."
Seeing the man frowning, she continued, "He said that you were his friend. Many women around you
were arranged by him. He also said that he would introduce me to you if I slept with him for a few
nights.
Harriet peeked at Wesley to perceive his reaction.
Harriet knew his temper as she had been with him for two years. He was somehow a neat freak,
especially hating others who wanted to get his items away. Although she was just his private pleasure,
but she only belonged to him.
Without surprise, Wesley??s eyes flashed with unpleasant for what Harriet said. He stopped eating and
said, "You don't have to wait for the broadcast of the TV drama. I will let the agent arrange other scripts
for you."
"Is that proper?" Harriet looked at him, pursing her lips and grunting, "I have been working really hard
for that show for more than half a year. I still count on it to make a name..." It seems that he wanted to
put Eric into trouble.
Suddenly Wesley raised his head with impatience and coldness. Harriet soon shut up after noticing his
anger.
She didn't want him to be mad even though she had plenty of complaints.
Harriet didn't know how a man who had just worked intensely for his business trip was still full of
energy. They made love again in the bedroom after the dinner.
In the end, she had a scratchy throat as well as a painful body. She seriously blamed him in her heart.
"He just left for half a month. Why torment me like that???
Being drowsy after the bath, Harriet faintly heard that Wesley said he would take her to Seattle next
month.
"What to do in Seattle???
Harriet was too tired to think and she just fell asleep.
It was already morning when she woke up.
The sun was shining outside, but the other part of the quilt was cold and the man had been away for
some time. Harriet knew that he was busy with work. Even though he slept at midnight, he needed to
get up at seven a.m. the next morning. © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
A professional cleaner was employed to clean the apartment every day. Harriet did not bother with it so
she quickly dressed up and went to work
The motor home stopped at the gate of the community on time as usual.
As soon as Harriet got on the car, her agent Charlene Smith quickly made up for her.
Staring at Harriet's thick dark circles under the eyes, she warned unhappily, "Please do not stay up
next time. The dark circles are too obvious!"
"It's not that I want to sleep late." Harriet rolled her eyes, "He's been on a business trip for half a month
and then just torment me in a different way!??
Charlene was well-known in the industry as she had trained three Oscar winning actress, but now she
was Harriet??s agent.
Charlene could only keep silent after hearing what she said.
Charlene was an excellent agent with amazing make-up skills. She usually made Harriet up most of the
time except when she was in the filming site. After a while the makeup was finished. The bright lipstick
made Harriet look vibrant.
"You are so awesome!" Harriet looked at her beautiful face in a small mirror and kept flattering the
agent, "It is a blessing that I have you as my agent!"
"Stop it. What happened last night?" Charlene packed the cosmetics up and asked Harriet, "Eric Black
was arrested for committing a crime, and the news went viral."
Harriet was shocked.
She knew that Wesley would definitely make Eric trouble, but it happened too fast. He sent Eric Black
to jail just in a few hours?
"What's going on?" Seeing Harriet's wandering look, Charlene patted her, "What's going on?"
"Not a big deal. Eric would like me to be his lover." Harriet rubbed her sore shoulder and said
innocently, "When Wesley came back, I raised it up casually. Who knew things would end up like this."
Charlene stunned and glared at Harriet after she got her mind, gritted her teeth, "You did that on
purpose, right? Are you happy now? I get no payback after half- year efforts!"
"I didn't" Harriet explained, trying to put the entire fault on Wesley, "Nobody knows Wesley could be so
cruel! I also feel bad for wasting half a year."
Charlene just wanted to ignore her.
