Chapter 57
Unice’s PoV
Ace chooses a maid outfit and shows it to me. I hold it and check it to see if it is the right fit for me. It was a perfect maid outfit, and the size was right for me. I need to try it out first to see if it’s to my liking.
“I need to wear this first and show it to you so you can see if it’s okay for me,” I suggested to Ace as I extended my hand, and he gave me the maid outfit.
“All right, I’ll wait here, and if the size needs to be changed, let’s ask the sales lady to change it.” Ace responded as I entered the fitting room and placed my bag down.
I started taking off my clothes, then put on the black and white maid outfit with no frills. I touch my chest because it has a heart shape on it.
I turned around to check my outfit as I looked in the mirror. It’s exactly my size, and I think I’ll go with this one.
I decided to leave the fitting room after trying on the maid outfit to show Ace if the outfit was appropriate for him. I called him, and he looked at me. He was speechless as I smiled at him and showed him the maid outfit. Perhaps I look good in this outfit, and our plan will succeed.
“Does it fit you, and is it the right size?” Ace asked as he looked at my outfit, and I nodded.
“Let’s buy that one for you,” Ace said as I returned to the fitting room and changed back into my clothes.
After that, I pick up my bag and leave the fitting room, leaving Ace to carry the maid outfit we will purchase. I approached Ace, who stood up from his seat, and we went to the counter, where he paid for the maid outfit, and the sales lady packaged it and thanked him for visiting their boutique shop.
“Thank you for your purchase, ma’am and sir,” the saleswoman said as we exited the boutique shop.
“What should we do next?” As we continued to walk, I inquired.
“Let me think about what we should do next; let’s go for a walk so I can think about it.” Ace suggested, and I nodded, and we started walking around the mall.
Ace abruptly stopped walking when he came across a jewelry store, and I wondered what he would buy. I followed him into the jewelry store, where a saleswoman greeted us.
“What exactly are we doing here? Will you purchase jewelry for me?” I question Ace as he examines the necklace, rings, and other expensive-looking accessories.
“I want to buy an engagement ring for you,” Ace announced, and I was speechless. I had no idea he would say that to me, and I felt my cheeks warm.
“Are you sure about me?” I inquired, flustered by the same timer, and he looked away.
“Why do you inquire? Are you going to leave me if I decide to marry you?” Ace hesitated to ask, and I was embarrassed because there were two sales ladies here, and they could hear us talking.
“I didn’t say I was leaving you; I just wanted to clarify,” I remarked, and he went looking for an engagement ring.
“Yes, I am certain about marrying you. Since we’re already here, please assist me in locating a lovely engagement ring for you.” Ace said, and I smiled before starting to look at the rings.
“I have a recommendation for an engagement ring, sir,” the sales lady suggested, and Ace followed her. I also followed them.
“This is what we call a moissanite ring; it’s popular when you’re going to propose to your girlfriend,” said the saleswoman, who was wearing a white glove and carrying a small box with a moissanite ring on it.
The ring is gold and silver and features a ruby stone in the center surrounded by sparkling moissanite stones; the design was created to maximize the ring’s reflective brilliance, similar to that of a diamond.
“The ring is hypoallergenic and nickel free. When it comes into contact with the skin, it is safe,” the saleswoman assured me.
Ace inquired, “How much for this?”
“Three hundred dollars.” Ace nodded and looked at me as the saleswoman revealed the price.
“Would you like this ring?” He asked, and I took another look at it.
“This is the most popular engagement ring; of course, I like it; there is nothing I won’t like,” I responded, and he smiled.
“I’ll take this one,” Ace said, and the sales lady nodded as he prepared the moissanite ring in the ring box.
“When are you going to propose? I won’t be surprised anymore because I’m here when you buy it.” I inquired Ace, and he paid for the ring as the Sales Lady finished packing it with care.
“Thank you for choosing Blossom Jewelry, ma’am and sir,” the other saleswoman said as we left the jewelry store.
This is an expensive ring, I must say.
“Right now,” Ace replied to my earlier question, and I was taken aback when he kneeled in front of me.
“If anything happens, I’ll regret if I didn’t do this,” Ace said as he opened the ring box and proposed to me as people gathered around us to take photos.
When I heard applause, I gave him my response.
“I will marry you, Ace, regardless of what happens.” I returned his smile, and he placed the engagement ring on my finger.
“I’m overjoyed you accepted it,” Ace stood up from his kneel and hugged me; it was the most genuine hug I’d ever felt. I heard people congratulating us, so I hugged him back.
“It’s embarrassing now that everyone is staring at us, Ace.” I let go of his hug, and he took my hand in his.
We decided to roam again to the mall, and as we walked, I smiled as I looked at the engagement ring. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.
“I’d like to take a selfie with this ring on,” I told Ace.
“You can take a selfie with me right now,” Ace says as I pick up my phone and we take a selfie.
“Are you going to share it on social media and announce that you’ve engaged?” Ace inquired.
“Without a doubt! I’ll tell Zoey, who I believe is still in the mall with Mr. Daffe,” When I post the selfie photo on social media, I declare and laugh.
“We still have plenty of time; do you want to go watch a movie?” Ace unexpectedly proposed
“Yes, I do. But do you really want to?” I responded by questioning him.
“That’s why I’m asking you today because we have more free time,” Ace replied; I’m confused now because he’s so sweet right now, and it appears that he wants to do something memorable.
“Let’s go to the movies and see if there’s anything good to watch,” Ace exclaimed, and I nodded. We began walking to the cinema, and when we arrived, I noticed a few people inside.
“Look, there’s a horror film. I think it’s good.” Ace pointed to the display of horror movie posters.
“Let’s try this one,” I said, and he nodded as we approached the counter.
“I’ll buy some snacks for us,” I offered Ace, and he nodded. After he gave me some money to buy snacks, I went to the snack station.
I look at the menu and think I’ll get some cheeseburger with fries, and I know Ace wants the same thing. When I was the next person to order, the cashier asked, “Is that all?” I nodded as the cashier man said.
While waiting for my order, Ace approached me and looked over the menu.
Ace inquired, “What did you order?”
“I order a two-cheese burger with fries and a large ice tea,” I told him, and he nodded, and the cashier took my order.
After Ace handed me the two tickets, we showed the tickets to the ticket collector, who let us in. We looked for our seats, and when we found them, I was the first to sit down.
“If you’re terrified, you can cling to my arms,” Ace said after sitting down.
“I’m brave; I can watch this horror movie you choose,” I exclaimed, and he handed me the cheeseburger with fries and placed our drinks in the cup holder, I slathered ketchup on the fries, and we waited for the movie to start.
