Domineering Love

Chapter 8 You Little Thing, Don’t Move

Chapter 8 You Little Thing, Don’t Move

The most heartbreaking thing was not getting hurt.

It was that the person who used to hold dear of you now hurt you unscrupulously.

Elizabeth shook her head and tried to drive out all the messy memories in her mind.

What did Marvin’s birthday have anything to do with her?

They were not biological brother and sister - she was just what Marvin used to get off.

Accompanying him on his birthdays was one of his fiancé’s liabilities.

...

Elizabeth arrived at school punctually. As soon as she walked in, she heard a group of girls gathering

together and excitedly discussing something.

“Have you heard that the Law School recently hired a guest professor who specializes in Business

Law, and he starts today!” Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“I found out about that yesterday. I heard that he is a young talent on the Forbes list. He is still single. I

read his interview in a magazine. He is so handsome, and I would kill to sleep with him. Let’s skip class

today and have a look.”

“Exactly what I was thinking about!”

...

Elizabeth frowned. She was a student in Law School, and Business Law was one of her mandatory

courses, which happened to be what she was attending today.

The previous professor was an older man, and his lectures were just cliché. Therefore, most students

found the course boring and did not show up. Now there was a new professor, of which she was not

even aware.

Elizabeth worried that the new professor would check the numbers of his new students.

However, sharp cramps abruptly hit her abdomen, and the blood flow became more turbulent.

She was worried, but she had to head to the bathroom first.

Fortunately, it was nothing but just an amount of heavy bleeding. Elizabeth was OK with it. She

swallowed a painkiller and went ahead to the classroom.

She was hoping to sneak in through the classroom back door and was dumbfounded as soon as she

pushed open the door.

The classroom was full of students, which was the complete opposite to how the other ordinary lazy

days had been.

There were no empty seats. She wanted to find a spot in the back row but somehow could not.

Elizabeth panicked. When she lifted her leg, she bumped her knee on the door. It made a really loud

noise.

The noise attracted everyone’s attention. They all looked back at the same time.

Elizabeth blushed with embarrassment. But she focused on continuing looking for a seat, she didn’t

have a chance to look over at the podium.

However, while she was getting distraught, there appeared a male’s clear and be-witching voice.

His words were loud and distinct, and each one of them touched her heart.

“Those of you that are late, please be seated in the first row.”

The professor’s voice...

Elizabeth was surprised and looked over in a daze. They gazed directly at each other at the same time.

Face to face, eventually, She saw Robert Williams.

Elizabeth was stuck, and her breathing stagnated.

She grew up in a wealthy family and has come cross with many good-looking men since she was little.

But they were all different from Robert Williams.

The first time Elizabeth met Robert, she assumed he was wicked, cruel, and bloodthirsty. She wasn’t

courageous enough to look at him directly.

The second time they met was at the police station. Robert appeared to be a humble and polite

businessman, clean and elegant.

And right now, Robert was standing on the podium, tall and stalwart - Elizabeth was just one of his

students while he was the noble honorary professor.

The sense of banditry on his face was gone, and he was wearing a suit, looking handsome and

charming yet full of extravagance.

He wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, and with that, he looked even bookish.

No wonder the female students in the classroom were all gazing at him with obsession.

It hasn’t even been 24 hours, and Roberts already turned into this charming professor and showed up

here in Elizabeth’s class.

Elizabeth was all over the place, nervous and confused.

Robert chuckled and asked at ease, “Hey there, grab a seat, please.”

Elizabeth dazed there for quite a long time. Some boy boldly booed, “She was lost in the professor’s

good looks and charm.”

“...” Elizabeth blushed. She ran forwards in a hurry and sat down at the corner of the first row.

The class of Business Law has never been in such a lively atmosphere, and many of the girls started

chit-chatting underneath.

The whole class lasted an hour and a half. Elizabeth kept her head down the entire time, and her neck

went sore.

She kept on telling herself that it must be a coincidence.

Robert Williams, a well-known business tycoon, was in charge of the Williams Group.

Not only did he come to teach at Riverside College as an honorary professor, but he also came with the

intention of propaganda and promotion.

It was not news. A lot of celebrities chose to give lectures at colleges.

...

It was almost the end of class, and Elizabeth didn't want to wait any longer. She grabbed her bag and

rushed out.

Many of the students rushed to the podium to ask Professor Robert for his signature.

With Robert surrounded by the student crowd, Elizabeth assumed nothing would get in her way of

leaving here.

However, the respectful professor coughed slightly beyond expectation.

His clear and be-witching voice reached her ears faintly.

“Hey, the lady who was late.”

Elizabeth was in shock. She turned her head back, and his smiley eyes caught her off guard.

Robert was surrounded by all the students, like the moon by the stars. And it was as if there was a

hazy mist separating him and her.

Through his thin lips, he said very clearly, “Meet me in the office, please. We will speak about the

introspection you should write up.”

Elizabeth looked at him in a complicated mood. Robert’s eyes were like eagles. They were sharp like a

hidden sword, revealing murderous intent.

The female students were chattering about her and casting jealous glances at her.

...

Elizabeth had to go and wait for Robert in his office, which felt like she had to hop down from an abyss

knowing there was one.

Robert Williams entered the office a few minutes after her. He gently held her shoulders and pushed

her inside.

She watched the man lock up the door afterward.

He locked the door of his office from the inside.

Elizabeth sensed the danger right away and wanted to run.

But she was held down and pressed on the desk by the man.

“Mr. Williams, please have some self-respect!”

Robert bent his knees against her legs. His eyes were deep and bewildered, his thin lips pressed

against her earlobes, and slowly he uttered ambiguously in her ear.

“You little thing, don’t move.”
