Drawn to You: The Billionaire’s Second Wife

Chapter 20

The anger in Lilian’s eyes was burning like a flame. She felt a deep sensation that indicates hatred running through her veins.

Damnit! She had known a day like this would come.

She moved towards Vanessa and yanked her hair with the utmost vigor. This lady is dealing with her innermost part.

Vanessa struggled to get off her palm but she gripped her with both palms. The innocent woman wasn’t getting herself any longer.

“Let go of her, Lilian…” Xavier screamed at the top of his voice, but she was less concerned this time.

She dragged Nessa to the wall and pushed her towards it, she hit her back on it, and then slumped on the floor.

It hurts. It was damn painful. She was losing her patience this time.

Lilian moved towards her again and was about to yank her hair when she kicked her out so hard, and then managed to get on her feet.

“You kicked me out… bitch, you dared me.” She uttered moving towards Lilian.

Vanessa moved towards the bed and held Xavier while in tears, Lilian brushed her face with a slap pushing her out of the bed.

Xavier noticed how tough it was moving and managed to get up from the bed since he has gotten himself a little.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Just as Lilian grabbed the sweeping stick to hit Vanessa, Xavier got her palm so quick and held the stick.

“Let go of this stick, Xavier. Just lay down on that bed and let me deal with this slut…” Lilian yelled.

He gripped the stick more tight waiting for her action towards him.

“Don’t ever make that mistake again, Lilian. She isn’t neither a slut nor bitch, so mind the words you use on her…” he cautioned her.

She moved closer to her and stared into his eyes. “Now tell me why you’re concerned towards the words I use on her… because you’re intimate with her huh?”

“Why are you killing yourself because of that? If I had intimacy with her then it’s not my fault…” he responded with eyes widened.

Vanessa quietly got on her feet and sneaked out of the room, she wouldn’t want to cause much trouble again between them.

“Then who’s fault is it?” Lilian referred to him.

He smiled aggressively and got seated on the bed. “Lilian, you don’t need to be told that it’s your fault. So don’t query me any longer..”

She felt the ground would swallow her up, this wasn’t what she had expected from Xavier.

Heaven knows how she wanted him to apologize dearly. Yes. She expected him to feel sorry for the action he took and plead for forgiveness.

Now, she has easily forgotten the kind of man she has been with all this while. It has skipped her mind that she is in a relationship with Mr. Xavier Brown.

“Meanwhile, you aren’t feeling remorse for what you did to me, Xavier? I mean, you expect me to keep mute while watching the both of you huh?” She complained.

He glanced at her. “I never said so, Lilian. But you know, at times like this, you need to reason very well.”

She bit her finger revealing how angry she felt within her. “What the heck do you mean, Mr.”

“Lilian, you left me in pains to where I don’t know or even care to know because I scolded last night. You expect me to feel remorse for being with Vanessa whereas you starved my children yesterday and didn’t care to know how they felt…”

He got on his feet twitching towards her. “You expect me to be happy with you huh? I should appreciate your efforts towards my children and yet you call yourself a fiancee…”

“Lilian, you can murder a soul. Yes, you can do that. Since you had the guts to leave me even in this condition, then I’m quite sure you can kill me too…” he concluded and dashed out of the room in search of Vanessa.

He searched for her at every corner of the house but couldn’t get her, and then he left downstairs but she was nowhere to be found.

Tears gushed down her cheeks. He was well convinced that she has left back to her bakery after passing through pains in the hand of Lilian for her benevolence.

He left back to the room and caught Lilian on her knees, she held him so tight not letting him make a move.

All she has been asking for is forgiveness, but you know… that stuff is difficult for him to give out when in pain.

“That lady you caused pains because of me is the reason I can talk and walk now. I believe you would have been so happy if you come back to see me dead…” he stated annoyingly.

“Don’t say that again Xavier. I can never wish you dead, I was just sad and left in the morning out of ignorance. Please, darling, forgive me okay…” she pleaded continuously.

Xavier smashed her palm away from him and then ordered her not to lay her palm on him again.

He grabbed his cellphone together with his car key and dashed out of the house.

Lilian tried to hold him back, but he pushed her aside with his left palm. She cried so loud wanting him back, but he turned deaf ear to her voice.

She felt deserted that she began sweating profusely. Lots of pains flowing in her veins.

“I can’t take it any longer, Vanessa can’t escape my wrath. She started it, ass hole.” She barked inwardly.

She left the room to meet Xavier, but she wouldn’t believe the young man had left to where she isn’t aware.

Ouch! Why’s all this happening to her now? Must she be the one to be facing all through hell?

She left back to the room and took her cellphone with her, she locked the doors and left the compound.

The inner of her is bittered, and she won’t seat and watch fellow woman damage her enticing mood.

She is a babysitter, not Xavier’s caretaker. There’s no reason to be given behind her coming in to stay with Xavier when she isn’t around.

She trekked to Nessa’s bakery some miles away from the house.

“After succeeding in taking him away from me, you could remember of your bakery and come around here to make sales huh…” she referred to the innocent woman who kept staring at her.

Vanessa won’t take it likely with her this time. If she had looked at her the first time, then that’s because she won’t fight her at her own home.

But then, the bakery is hers. Therefore, she won’t stand hopelessly and watch Lilian a bit more than she can chew.

“If you loved him so dearly and wouldn’t want another woman to take him away from you, why then did you leave him to be alone in such condition? Why Lilian? You are selfish, you know that Right?” Vanessa screeched at her.

She dashed into the building. “I can see. So you’re planning to take him away from me huh?”

“I don’t have anything to do with your fiance okay. Xavier was in a critical condition, so I had to offer him some help through my doctor. That’s all.” She explained.

She smiled in a hostile manner. “Vanessa you lie. Even before you were employed, you’ve been looking for a way to take that young man away from me… isn’t it?”

“Please Lilian, go grab your towel on where you took a shower and end all this jabbering. Reconcile with your fiance and make peace with him…” she commented to her hearing.

Lilian gasped in shock. “You just said that I’m jabbering?” She scolded but Vanessa looked off her.

She yanked her on the hair drawing her backward. Vanessa swirled her neck to face her, and then she landed on Lilian’s cheek with a resounding slap.

Lilian staggered trying to bring herself together. She lifted her face and glared at Vanessa.

“You raised your hand on me, bitch.” She referred to Vanessa who stood at a place waiting for her retaliation.

She nodded to that question while pulling her lips into a smile filled with anger.

“Yes, I did. And I’ll do it again if you dare me. Lilian, I looked off you only because of Xavier, and then it’s your home. But you see, this is my bakery and I promise to give you the best of what you want if you try my patience again…” Vanessa declared openly to her.

Lilian tried stepping forward but found herself stiffened at a place.

“I promise to deal with you with my last sweat, you can’t just escape my wrath this way…” Lilian assured her and consoled herself too.

She wouldn’t believe a mere babysitter would raise her palm on her.

Gosh! It’s damn irritating.

At this point, she must go to all extent just to deal with Vanessa.

“So who welcomed you in Nessa’s bakery? The scene you created in my home isn’t enough that you paid her a horrible visit…” a masculine but familiar voice sounded in her ears.

Her neck turned backward to get Xavier standing beside his car but has not a bit of smile on his face.
