Chapter 11 Alexander’s Study Room
Chapter 11 Alexander’s Study Room
At the living hall of the Aniston family
“Julius Clarkson, how dare you help those outsiders go against me?”
“I didn’t, honey.”
“Then why didn’t you hit that bitch? Why are you so afraid of Alexander Parker?”
Upon reaching home, Anna who was outraged had smashed everything she could in the house, she
then pointed at Julius who was kneeling on the ground on the nose and bawled. Julius had completely
lost the dignity he displayed in front of other people at the moment. He lowered his head and allowed
Anna to hit and shout at him.
He lowered his voice and continued to explain. “Honey, we can’t mess with Parker.” The Aniston
Constructions was only a construction company and how could they fight against the business empire
of the Parker’s? Fighting against them was like throwing straws against the wind.
Obviously, Anna had been living in a bed of roses since child and she could get anything she wanted,
therefore how could she endure that kind of humiliation? Even if she was facing the Queen of England,
she would not feel intimidated at all. She stared at Julius’s timid look in contempt and after letting him
finished his words, she gave a slap on his face. “Get lost! You pathetic waste!”
After venting her anger, Anna felt slightly tired and sat down, rubbing her forehead. As she rubbed, she
thought she could not let Allison off that easily. It was then someone came into her mind and she
quickly made a phone call. With just a few words, she had made an agreement with the one at the end
of the call. Her mood was lightened up after hanging up the call. Allison Gibson, you think you could
have Alexander Parker have your back? Let’s see what you could do if you lose this strong support!
…
After reaching home, Allison realized her belongings had been packed by her parents and were all sent
there. She felt speechless looking at the pile of bags. How eager was her mother to chase her out of
the house? Although she complained, she still arranged her things swiftly. There were still some odds
and ends in the end and she had no idea where to put at once. Thinking the mansion was huge, she
reckoned there was a storage room. She then carried the whole box of sundries and sought for the
storage room while familiarizing herself with the environment.
After checking out all the rooms and still had not found the storage room, Allison deemed the room
located at the furthest end of the second floor corridor must be the storage room. Yet when she pushed
the door open, what came into her line of sight was a bookshelf placed with lots of different kinds of
books on it. “Is this a study room?” She leaned her head forward to have a look inside. Was that
Alexander’s study room? Having thought of that, she could not help but step into it.
She glanced through the whole wall of books and could not help but admire Alexander’s powerful
strength. She was too absorbed in her admiration that she did not notice the box she was carrying had
accidentally touched the photo frame on a table. The sound of the photo frame dropping onto the
ground was exceptionally clear that it almost scared the daylight out of her.
Realizing she had caused a trouble, Allison knelt down in panic and picked the frame up. Fortunately
the frame was not made of glass and she would be pretty doomed if it broke to pieces. There was no
one in the photo but solely a snow-covered landscape. After making sure the frame is fine, she patted
her chest and stood to her feet, wanting to put the frame back to its original place, yet it was at that Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
moment, the photo slipped out of the frame followed by a yellowed card.
She swore she did not intend to see what was written on it, yet those nicely-handwritten words still
entered her lines of sight: I love you, Alex. From, Elaine.
