Reminiscence
Nathan thrust in her slowly and steadily making each thrust count. He pleasured her so much that she moaned all though. After a few minutes of sensational sex, Nathan came letting out a moan.
He fell to the seat to catch his breath while Demelza did the same. After a few minutes, Nathan felt refreshed from the short rest.
“Get dressed, we’ve spent enough time here and it’s getting late.” Nathan told Demelza as he stood up to zip up.
Demelza got dressed and went to the front seat. She sat there feeling super exhausted.
She noticed the route Natajan took wasn’t the way to her house but she was not bothered because she didn’t want to spend the night alone.
The drive back home was a very quiet one with Nathan stealing glances at her.
Immediately they got home, Demelza had a quick bath and soon changed into Nathan’s clothes. she slumped on the bed and soon fell asleep faster than she thought. He watched how her body gently nestled under the duvet and her head rested on the plush pillow.
The atmosphere of the room lulled her into a gray deep slumber. The sex they had definitely tired her out. The smart clock in the Wal ticked away the minutes as Demelza slept soundly. When Nathan got done with everything he was doing, he laid down on the bed beside her and gently pulled the duvet higher to ensure she remained warm. sound that came from the gentle rise and fall of Demelza’s chest as she slept. Nathan soon fell asleep from watching Demelza sleep.
The first rays of dawn began to peek through the window casting a warm glow on both their faces. Demelza’s eyes flutter open and she is greeted by the sight of Nathan’s facem he looked so cute while he slept. she stood up from the bed as quiet as she could and headed to the bathroom to eas herself and brush her teeth.
After peeing, she looked around for a new toothbrush. After going through the drawers for a while, she finally found one. She picked it up and brushed her teeth while staring at herself in the mirror. She couldn’t help but blush at intervals whenever she remembered the event of last night.
After brushing her teeth, she walked out of the bathroom. Immediately she came out the smell of freshly brewed coffee welcomed her.
She followed the smell of the coffee all the way to the kitchen but came to a halt the instant she caught sight of Nathan’s masculine body resting against the marble slab by the kitchen sink. She peeped at how handsome he looked, sipping his coffee and pressing his phone with his right hand.
“You need to go home and I also need to prep for work. There will be a court sitting, we both have to be ready. Take a cab home and meet me at the office very early.” Nathan said.
Demelza nodded and turned to leave but stopped when Nathan cleared his throat to speak.
“I put some cash in your purse, use it to pay for an Uber home. I don’t want you standing on the street for a cab” she smiled after Nathan said so.
Nathan could read her facial expression from behind and he could tell she was smiling. He was happy his act was working.
He knew that she was beginning to feel attached but he felt unbothered. Anything to make her trust him enough to think that he is defending her father to win in court.

Demelza hastily dressed for work without wasting time because the court session that was scheduled to hold at 12pm was moved to hold by 10am. She hastily put on suit pants and a blazer to match. She picked out her black pointed heels and wore them.
She stood up and sat in front of the mirror to pack her hair. She decided to use edge control to hold it in to give a sleek look. She didn’t have the time to straighten her hair which made that her best option at the time.
Immediately after she finished, she applied her lip gloss and left for work. She had booked an Uber before she started packing her hair to make sure he’ll be there before she finished.
In fifteen minutes, he got to the Law Firm and Nathan was already waiting for her in the car with a stern face feeling annoyed about her wasting time.
“I’m sorry.” She apologized but Nathan didn’t not say anything. The drive to the court was a quiet yet tense one. Nathan felt tense because he knew he was playing her while Demelza felt tense because she silently prayed they win the case.
Finally at the court premises, they both alighted in a hurry and rushed to the courts room.
Everywhere became dead silent except for the after everyone was seated, the atmosphere of the court room became tense with Hampton and Demelza exchanging hateful glances at each other.
The courtroom is polished with wooden panels, a large judge bench at the front and rows of seats for the jury. When the judge came in, he noticed a little bit of noise which made him bang his gavel demanding silence. Nathan the defense attorney stood up and approached the jury box placing some papers in front of the judge to show the shaken signatures of Demelza’s father.
He showed the judge that to make people think he was trying to prove that Mr Thorpes signed the papers under duress and that is why his signatures are shaken but he knew the implication of that.
Hampton’s attorney rises and argues that it wasn’t signed under duress. Soon, both attorneys got into a heated argument which made the judge tell both of them to sit. The judge addresses both attorneys, telling them to learn to maintain decorum. The judge concluded by adjourning the case.
The prison warders held Demelza’s father by the arm to exit the courtroom which made Demelza’s face fall. She wished she could hug her father at that moment.
They both looked at each other until they couldn’t see each other anymore. Nathan felt pity for her while she watched the whole episode.
Soon, tears began dropping from Demelza’s eyes which made Nathan stretch out a handkerchief to her to wipe her tears. While he did that, Hampton signaled him to come.
“I’ll be right back.” Nathan said to Demelza.
She slumped on the chair to wait for him feeling frustrated. After mopping a bit, she raised her head to see where Nathan went but she couldn’t find him anywhere.
Nathan and Hampton stood by a corner where Demelza won’t see them. He didn’t want her to have any hint of his intentions.
