Chapter 110

Flash Marriage He Made My Jaw Drop

Vivienne’s abrupt voice made both Lainey and Elena panic, and they were so nervous that they didn’t

know how to

answer.

Vivienne saw the flustered expressions of the two, and asked, “Lainey, Mom, are you hiding something

from me? I heard you mentioned Hendrix just now. What does Hendrix know? What’ s the secret?”

Elena was at a loss, but Lainey thought quickly, “Um, what I’m talking about is that Hendrix’s father

went bankrupt, and it is the secret. Now all the old classmates know about it.”

This answer was a bit far-fetched. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

Vivienne stared at the two of them, both Elena and Lainey were a little guilty, and their eyes flickered.

Vivienne said, “I just heard you say, Hendrix knows everything about me, what does he know?”

Lainey faltered, “Well, um, he…”

“I want to hear the truth.” Vivienne felt uneasy, “Lainey, Mom, what are you hiding from me?”

At this moment, Vivienne also remembered the previous medical examination. At that time, Lainey was

as flustered as she was now and seemed to be hiding something from her.

Elena smiled, “What can we hide from you, the beef is stewing in the pot, why didn’t you watch it?”

Elena was changing the subject.

Vivienne looked at Lainey again, and Lainey also smiled, “Oh come on, it’s really what I said just now.”

Seeing that both of them were avoiding her question, Vivienne’s doubts deepened.

“Is it related to the memory I forgot?” Vivienne asked persistently, “If you don’t tell me, I’ll go find

Hendrix myself.”

Upon hearing this, Lainey and Elena panicked even more.

Elena scolded, “Don’t turn to that sc um, what are you going to do with him? Lainey has told you just

now. What else do you want to know? The beef is still stewing in the pot, Vivienne, go wash the

vegetables, Lainey, you have a dinner

with us.”

It was rare for Elena to speak so harshly.

Vivienne frowned, knowing that thing was not that simple, but she didn’t ask any more questions, she

didn’t want to hurt

her mother.

She also knew that Lainey must have a zipped mouth and would not say anything.

As for Hendrix, Vivienne didn’t believe in Hendrix either, even if Hendrix did tell her the truth, it would

be distorted.

Therefore, if she wanted to figure out her lost memory, she could only rely on herself.

Vivienne turned and went into the kitchen to wash

vegetables. Elena and Lainey looked at each other, but they didn’t relax in the slightest.

The truth would be revealed someday.

During this dinner, the three of them had their own concerns, and the atmosphere was a bit weird.

Vivienne had dinner, and Elena packed some beef for Damien in a thermos to take home.

Vivienne and Lainey walked out of the community together. Lainey hesitated to speak many times but

finally said nothing.

When Vivienne got home, it was already nine o’clock at night.

She only turned on a night light, and lay alone on the sofa, hugging a pillow, staring out the window in a

daze, not knowing what she was thinking.

She didn’t know what could have made Elena and Lainey team up to hide it from her?

And now she began to wonder, was it really because of Hendrix and the public opinion of school

plagiarism that she suffered from depression back then?

She felt that her ability to withstand stress was very good, so how did she get to the point of suffering

from depression, even so, severe that she forgot lots of things?

Vivienne fell into deep thought. The night was cold and the silence was terrible, but she was immersed

in her own world, and she didn’t even know when Damien came back. She didn’t come back to her

senses until Damien came to her side and

called her.

“Vivienne, what’s wrong? You look unhappy!”

A mellow and deep voice sounded above her head, Vivienne looked up, and when she saw Damien,

she suddenly hugged him in a depressed mood.

She just hugged him like that without speaking, the familiar

smell on his body made her feel at ease.

Damien thought Vivienne was sad because of being fired, so he smiled and touched her head. He sat

down next to her and took out a gift box from behind like a magic trick.

“It’s for you, open it and have a look.”

Vivienne looked at the gift and asked, “Why do you give me another gift? We still need to save money

to buy a house.”

“I bought it with my bonus.” Damien said with gentle eyes, “You must be tired this morning.””

Hearing this, Vivienne blushed instantly, and joked, “Why do I have the feeling of being rewarded by my

boss after working hard?”
