Chapter 40 You Haven’t Kissed Me
Chapter 40 You Haven’t Kissed Me
It was already ten o'clock in the morning when Sadie woke up.
She sat up while rubbing her eyes. Then she was upset after vaguely hearing Julian’s voice coming
from the bathroom.
No doubt, he must have slept with her on the same bed last night.
Julian's voice became clearer after she lifted the quilt up. "What did he say?"
Sadie stood quietly outside the bathroom door and pricked her ears. He seemed to be in a particularly
good mood. His low and sweet voice sounded as if it was stained with a smile. "I know. Send him to the
airport and tell him I'm on a business trip."
Just then, it seemed like he has hung up the phone. Then she heard the hair dryer.
Sadie raised her hand and knocked on the door while unconsciously licking the corners of her lips.
The sound of the hair dryer stopped, the lock of the bathroom door made a "click" sound and the door
was slowly opened.
"You are awake?" Julian's hand fell on her head and stroked gently with a smile. "Come in and wash
yourself up."
Sadie raised her head, and she saw his body was by covered a bath towel. The scene frightened her
that she had to look away.
What a pervert! Why was he taking a shower at this time, not to mention not wearing nightgown on
purpose?
She dodged his hand and tried to move around him. Her arm was accidentally grabbed, and she fell
into his hot arms.
"Mr. Mccarthy..." Sadie blinked, while looking into the mirror at a loss. She was concealing the fear and
resentment carefully.
He wouldn't really be that hardcore, would he?
"You haven't kissed me yet." Julian raised his eyes and scanned the mirror indifferently. He looked like
a kid begging for candies.
It gave Sadie the creeps, but she still stood on tiptoes and kissed him on the cheek with her eyes
closed. "Good morning."
"Good girl." Julian smiled hoarsely, while sliding his hand into her nightgown and stroking her skin
freely. "Where do you want to go today?"
The heat in the air was still not cleared, and his hand was unbelievably hot.
Sadie felt stiffness in her back, and her eyes widened with blushing face. "What are you doing!"
"I was measuring your waist." Julian took his hand back calmly. Just then his warm lips pressed against
her forehead. He kissed her gently before opening the door.
Sadie closed the door in shock. She was finally relieved like a deflated ball, leaning on the sink.
She became more and more suspicious that there was a past between Julian and her.
When she was with Otto, he was never so intimate with her. He was never affectionate, even when he
arranged the most romantic surprise for her, he would not kiss her. He always kissed her on the
forehead.
He seemed to be perfunctory, but also seemed to be disgusted by her.
Disgusted... Sadie had the thought in her head suddenly, she then subconsciously looked at the mirror,
and covered her face with her hair.
Maybe he would be disgusted by a face like this, wouldn’t he?
Otto was her first boyfriend. When she was in high school, she often saw classmates in a relationship
secretly kissing behind the school building, and checking in to hotels.
But Otto never seemed to have thoughts like this.
Julian on the other hand would sometimes act like he wanted to possess her. After all, she could feel
his physical reaction when they slept together.
She shook her head, put her hair down and started washing up calmly.
Having made a decision, thinking about it would only increase the discomfort. She felt tears were
dripping down her face when brushing her teeth. And she just couldn’t stop crying.
"Are you done, Sadie?" Julian's voice came through the door.
Sadie quickly poured cold water and washed her face. "I am done."
When she went out, breakfast has already been delivered to the room.
She changed her clothes, went downstairs after eating, and got on the Rolls Royce parked outside.
He didn't tell her where they were going, and she didn't ask him either. She started searching for news
about HUY International on her cell phone.
The car stopped after a while.
Sadie pulled back her thoughts, put away her phone and opened the door. The car parked in front of a
golf course. She frowned slightly. Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
A group of three men and three women walked out of the lounge. "You’re late, master Julian." One of
them looked at Julian and teased.
Julian pursed his lips, and he didn’t seem to be apologetic whatsoever. He then slightly put his hands
on Sadie's shoulder. "My babe caught a cold few days ago."
Everyone looked at Sadie as soon as these words came out.
"She is a babe, for sure." Julian sneered and greeted them.
He nodded and hugged Sadie casually.
Then they got to the lounge and sat down. Julian asked the waiter for tea. He looked at the female
dates they brought with a faint smile. "Go ahead and prepare for it."
The looks of the three girls changed, and they stood up and left unwillingly.
Sadie was confused. Just then, Julian stretched out his hand and gently wrapped her hand into his
palm. "We are here for the drama. Just tell me what kind of desert you want, I'll order and let someone
bring it over."
"Ok." Sadie responded obediently. She had a gut feeling that the word ‘prepare’ he had just mentioned
was not a good thing.
She never understood the rich’s mind.
Probably because of Julian was there, she felt strangely at ease. It didn't matter what was coming her
way next, as long as he was there.
"Let me introduce, this is my wife." Julian suddenly spoke up in a serious tone. "This is Master Marley
Nicholson. This is Master Nicolas Gardner, and that is Master Cillian Allen."
"Hello." Sadie nodded politely and curled up her lips.
The men looked at each other and stared at Julian with different expressions.
"Lady Sadie is so young..." Marley forced a smile while looking at Sadie with a meaningful expression.
"Can’t be over twenty years old, I assume?"
"No, we got married in the states." Julian sounded so indifferent that his attitude was completely
different from how he acted just now.
Marley’s smile looked even more embarrassed when realized that he had said something wrong.
Just then, the female dates returned. They went to the lawn and got down on the ground like dogs.
Marley picked up a golf ball on the table and threw it out. "Whoever picked this back first, gets one
million."
With that said, the girls immediately scrambled over to pick up the ball.
Sadie was completely dumbfounded. Her hands and feet felt cold.
"It's okay, they play like this all the time." Julian gave her a soothing smile, took her into his arms and
looked at the grass with a meaningful smile.
The sun was shining, three girls in bikinis and collars around their necks crawled fast on the grass.
Sadie was too frightened to watch that she turned her face away. She could feel the sweat dripping
from her back.
Did he bring her here because he wanted to warn her that if he knew that she was scheming, this
would be her fate?
Just then, another car stopped. Otto got out of the car, followed by a young girl with a hot body.
