Chapter 36 Broken Wedding Photo
Bonita's face darkened when Marcel mentioned Darren. She glared at him.
Claire sneered at her and walked inside.
"Claire! Stop!"
Bonita shouted. She didn't want to give up, so she chased after her.
However, Claire ignored her and walked to the door.
Just as she was about to ascend the stairs, she sensed something and looked up.
Elora was standing upstairs with a bowl in her hand. She was about to pour the water down.
Claire quickly stepped back and pushed Bonita forward.
"Ah!"
The water fell on Bonita, drenching her.
Elora's face flushed with embarrassment as she realized she had poured it on her daughter instead of Claire.
Claire ignored Bonita's screams and went straight into the house.
The servants didn't stop her.It was obvious Marcel had already informed them in advance.
Claire went straight to the second floor and headed to Bonita's bedroom at the far end of the corridor.
Just then, Elora quickly ran downstairs and stopped her.
"Enough! Stay where you are!"
Bonita, drenched in water, caught up from behind and shouted angrily, "Mom! Drive her out! She is shameless. She has come here to get something from the Sampson family after the divorce. We can't let her take anything from us."
The mother and daughter blocked Claire, leaving no place for her to pass.
The mere sight of Bonita and Elora made Claire sick.
The two were shameless. She had to work hard to take back her thing.
Claire turned around and glared at Bonita.
"If I remember correctly, Darren brought me the dress you're wearing right now.It doesn't even fit you.Don't you think it’s too tight?"
Claire scoffed at her.
"You started using all my belongings after I left?"
"Darren bought it with his money, and it obviously belongs to our Sampson family! I should have asked you to take off your clothes, you bitch!"
Bonita growled.
Marcel quickly went upstairs.
"Mr.Sampson said Miss Williams is permitted to come to the house to take her belongings whenever she wants. Not even you two can stop her."
Elora became furious.
"What?"
Claire ignored the two and turned to the far end of the corridor.
However, just as she walked past the room that belonged to her once, she couldn't help but stop.
After a moment's hesitation, she pushed the door open and walked in.
The room was an utter mess.
The old furniture was thrown away.
Other things were piled up in a corner.
It looked like they had converted her room into a storage place.
Just as Claire took a few steps forward, she caught a glimpse of something familiar and squatted.
The old photo frame glinted under the light.
It was a wedding photo of her and Darren.
She sighed and picked it up. Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
There were cracks all over her face radiating across the glass.
It was obvious someone had smashed the frame with a sharp, heavy object.
