Hello, Mr. Brent

Chapter 335

Chapter 335

Emily really missed Franklin, but she couldn't fly over to meet him. Just listening to the voice didn't

make her miss him at all, and only the video could slightly ease the similarity between the two.

When Emily mentioned this, Franklin immediately agreed.

So Emily quickly turned off her phone and logged into Whatsapp, only to find that she and Franklin

were not friends.

Emily twitched and quickly sent out an application to add friends. It took Franklin a long time to get

through the application. After opening the video, the two of them officially started the video.

It was the first time Emily had seen Franklin in the video, and she was still very good-looking, which

made her want to touch him.

But when he thought about how long it took him to pass the application, he asked curiously, "Why are

you so slow? Is the internet bad?"

"No." Franklin's ears reddened slightly and shook his head in denial.

Both of them had good cell phones and could clearly see each other. Emily's eyes were full of him.

Naturally, he noticed his abnormality at one glance and the blush in his ears.

"You didn't use Whatsapp, did you?" Emily was surprised.

Franklin coughed softly and blushed slightly, "I don't need this. Jason usually helps me with these

things. Besides, I don't need anyone to Whatsapp with me."

"After that, we'll save money on the phone by Whatsapp," Emily said quickly.

Franklin nodded. It didn't matter if he saved the phone bill. The key was that he was happy to meet

Emily.

The two of them chatted randomly, not knowing what they were talking about. Even after what we had

for the previous meal and how it tasted, we were always happy to be able to talk together.

But after all, Franklin was busy, not as idle as Emily. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Soon Jason knocked on the door and came in, reminding Franklin that it was time for the meeting.

Franklin had no choice but to say to Emily, "Be good over there. I'll be there soon. Don't cause trouble.

Don't do anything you shouldn't."

"I'm good. I didn't cause any trouble." Emily immediately quipped.

Franklin smiled and said in a small voice, "I know my baby is the best. Go back and reward you."

Then he winked at her, his meaning unclear.

Emily blushed as she watched Franklin turn off the video reluctantly.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. She ran to open the door and saw that it was Lisa.

"What's wrong?"

"Mrs. Williams is here. Let you go down to see her," Lisa said.

Emily raised his eyebrows and was about to nod in agreement when he suddenly thought of his plan.

So he said to Lisa, "You tell her that if you want to meet me, you can let her come up to me by herself."

Lisa looked at her in surprise and muttered, "Are you okay? You actually asked Mrs. Williams to come

up to you? She's your nominal mother-in-law. You don't have a fever, do you?"

Then he reached out to touch her forehead to see if she had a fever and was confused.

"Of course I don't have a fever." Emily clapped her hand away and said, "There's a reason why I did

this. You just go down and tell her that. She's angry and don't care. What I want is for her to be angry."

"Aren't you afraid to offend her?" Lisa asked.

"Is it true that I'm with Daniel? Will she like me if I don't offend her? Since it's not true, she can't like me,

so it's important that I don't offend her."

Lisa was speechless. Although she thought what Emily said made sense, but...

Forget it, she just wants to protect her from any accidents. As for what she wanted, it was her own

business.

When Lisa went downstairs and saw Mrs. Williams, he said respectfully, "Madam, our miss said that if

you want to see her, you can go up and find her yourself. She doesn't have time to come down to see

you now."

With that, he lowered his head and quietly looked up at Mrs. Williams.

Sure enough, Mrs. Williams was so angry that his face turned green and his eyes were about to burst

out with fire.

"She told you that?" Mrs. Williams asked sternly.

Lisa nodded, "Yes, that's what our miss said."

"How dare she?" Mrs. Williams waved her hand angrily and swept the teacup on the ground, making a

crisp sound.

The housekeeper heard the sound and rushed over. When he saw the debris on the ground, he looked

surprised and quickly asked the servant to come and clean it up.

Mrs. Brent shouted, "Stop cleaning. Where's Daniel? Let him come to see me."

The housekeeper nodded in fear and hurriedly went upstairs to invite Daniel down.

Daniel came down and saw Mrs. Williams raise his eyebrows in anger, "What happened to mother?

Who offended you?"

Mrs. Williams said coldly, "Hmph, you still have the nerve to say that you're looking for someone. A little

girl dared to challenge me in a movie. I came to see her because she gave her face, but she still dared

to refuse and let me go upstairs to look for her. She didn't even look at herself. Do you indulge such a

woman? Call her down quickly."

Daniel looked at Lisa with astonishment.

Lisa quickly lowered his head and told Daniel exactly what Emily had said. Then he added fuel to the

fire, "Mr. Williams, I know Mrs. Williams's anger is justified. But our miss just wanted Mrs. Williams to

go up and see her. As for how angry she was, how could she be so angry and say such terrible

things?"

"Do you think I'm wrong?" Mrs. Williams yelled at Lisa angrily.

Lisa lowered his head and said calmly, "I don't dare, but it seems that it's against the rules for you to

talk to me like this. I'm from the Brents, so of course I'm speaking for our lady. I'm here to take care of

our lady, not your servant."

"Daniel." Mrs. Williams shouted angrily.

She had never suffered such grievances since she was so old.

Daniel twitched his lips and glanced helplessly upstairs. Since Emily insisted on making his mother

angry and disappointed in her, he could only cooperate.

She said, "Mother, don't be angry. She just wants you to go upstairs to see her. Maybe she can't come

down because she has something to do. As for being so angry."

"So you think I'm making a mountain out of a molehill?" Mrs. Williams looked at him in disbelief. She

could not believe that this man was her son.

"Emily just came to our Williams. There are many inconveniences. We have to pamper her. Otherwise,

how can we be worthy of her giving birth to our Williams and abandoning her family to marry into our

Williams?" Daniel said earnestly.

Mrs. Williams's eyes darkened and he almost fainted.

"Well, Daniel, you're so kind, so capable. I won't tell you. Let your uncle talk to you." Mrs. Williams left

angrily after putting down the harsh words.

Daniel's uncle and cousin will come over tomorrow to prepare for the wedding. Daniel was also raised

by his uncle. Mrs. Williams felt that if he didn't listen to him, he had to listen to his uncle.
