Hello, Mr. Brent

Chapter 350

Chapter 350

Emily finally came down the stairs the next morning with a blush on her face. His legs were weak. As

soon as she got downstairs, she hurriedly sat on the sofa, afraid that someone would notice her

difference.

However, Lisa smiled and leaned over to her, saying "You didn't sleep well last night! Look at your

black eyes. You're going to wear a wedding dress in two days. Don't lose your face then."

"Go away, you're no better than me. When Jason came, you keep smiling and your mouth couldn't

close." Emily rolled her eyes.

Lisa curled her lips, but admitted generously, "I'm glad and I am willing to do that. I just like to see him.

I'm not denying it."

"Well, well. Hurry up and get me something to eat. I'm starving." Emily said quickly.

She had dinner upstairs yesterday and missed breakfast this morning. If it weren't for the fact that the

children were too young to understand that, she would have been so ashamed that she didn't dare to

go downstairs.

Lisa also knew that she was hungry. She hurriedly asked the maid to prepare breakfast and then called

Emily to eat.

But she asked nervously, "Can I help you over?"

"No, I'm fine." Emily glared at her and walked towards the dining room, enduring the pain in her back

and waist.

Lisa pursed her lips and smiled. Looking at her walking posture, she said jokingly, "Mr. Brent is really

amazing. It's rare for a man like Mr. Brent to be good at all aspects! You must cherish him. Don't miss

him, or you will regret it."

"He's so good. Why don't you go after him? You can take the advantage of being in a favored position."

Emily retorted.

Lisa curled her lips and said, "I've already said that no matter how good Mr. Brent is, he's not my type.

You don't have to tease me. By the way, have you asked clearly about that female star? Don't just hang

out with your Mr. Brent and forget to ask about important matters."

Lisa didn't know when she slowly tilted to Emily's side. Back then, she swore to Emily that she was Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

good to her and helped her because she was Franklin's woman.

She, Lisa, was always Franklin's assistant, always on Franklin's side. People were biased. She would

never be unbiased. No matter how good Emily was to her, she would always choose Franklin over

Emily.

But now it was different. She clearly cared more about Emily. Otherwise, she could have kept her

mouth shut and pretended that this had never happened, which was in Franklin's greatest interest.

Emily was stuffing something into her mouth when she heard this. She sighed and said faintly, "Yes, I

asked him. It's all my fault. Although I don't know how he knew Amy, I dare not to ask more."

She then told Lisa what Franklin had told her, and frowned gloomily.

Lisa was also surprised. It took a long time before she said, "Then you really have no right to question

him. If this thing doesn't end soon, you will be in the wrong in the future."

"That's right. I'm looking forward to it now. I can't wait to start the wedding." Emily nodded vigorously in

agreement.

Lisa said, "Actually, it's only two days. There's only one more day left after today. Just bear with it."

Emily nodded and took a few more bites. After eating, she was finally not so hungry, and her brain

began to work.

She quickly asked curiously, "Where are Franklin and Daniel?"

Lisa said, "Oh, they seem to be going to investigate a project. Mr. Williams suggested that he would

cooperate with Mr. Brent. In fact, he might do it because he owed to Mr. Brent! Jason said that the

project would be profitable. Mr. Williams could do it himself, but he wanted to make money with Mr.

Brent. So, Mr. Brent went with him to take a look. There's no need not to accept the free pie. Mr. Brent's

company could take this project, which is a reward for his last help."

"Oh, I see!" Emily stopped asking when she heard it was about work.

At this time, Bryce came back from outside. As soon as he entered the door, he stopped and was

stunned when he saw Emily.

Then he immediately jumped up at Emily and hugged her happily, "Mom, you finally went downstairs."

Emily was embarrassed and couldn't help but nod his little head in amusement, "Why do you say that?

Mom just woke up a little late. It seemed that you hadn't seen me for a long time."

"It's been a long time since I saw mom. Mom didn't come down for dinner last night and didn't come

down for breakfast this morning. I was worried. But Dad Williams said that you were busy giving birth to

my sister with Dad. Mom, did you give birth to a sister? Where's my sister?"

Her face turned red and then pale. She felt so embarrassed and ashamed that she wished she could

hide in a hole.

Lisa laughed so hard that she couldn't stand up straight anymore. She couldn't help but pick Bryce up.

She smiled and said, "Oh, my little young master, your joke is killing me. I can laugh at it for a year.

Your mother couldn't give birth to your sister so fast. Even if she had to give birth, it would take ten

months. Every baby is born in ten months. Haven't you seen an aunt with a big belly?"

"Daniel." Emily gritted her teeth in anger and said hatefully, "I really didn't expect him to be such a

person. Why did he tell my child everything? No, I can't spare him. I'll question him when he comes

back."

"Don't blame him. You two won't come down when you go upstairs. Of course, the child will ask. Mr.

Williams can't explain it to him. This is the most reasonable and civilized explanation." Lisa said with a

smile.

Emily's face turned even redder. She wanted to hide.

So when Daniel and Franklin came back, she was cold to them. One was talking nonsense and the

other was the culprit of her pain. She didn't want to talk to any of them.

Daniel took Bryce to play when seeing she was cold.

But she couldn't ignore Franklin. Franklin followed her into the room and hugged her waist from behind.

"Honey, what time did you get up today?" Franklin flirted with her in a serious face. Emily blushed.

"Can you stop calling me that? I blush when I hear it," Emily said coquettishly.

Franklin said righteously, "We are husband and wife. What's wrong with some intimate nicknames

between husband and wife? Don't you like me to call you that?"

Emily glared at him. Of course, she liked it but she just felt embarrassed.

"Well, don't feel embarrassed. We're a couple. There's nothing to hide between us. By the way, I went

to investigate a project with Daniel today. It's not bad. He really wanted to make up for it. I couldn't

refuse his kindness. There's one more thing he dared not to tell you. He wants me to tell you about

this."

"What is it?"
