Chapter 807 Talk with Morgan
Chapter 807 Talk with Morgan
Morgan smiled and gave the answer without hesitation.
"Director Chambers, why do you have to ask this question? Mr. Bennet likes you, not Wendy."
This question was single choice, and Winnie was the only choice.
"Morgan, if he doesn't like Wendy, why does he still protect her and not cut ties with her?"
Morgan’ words set off waves in Winnie’s heart, but after all, he was Brian's staff, he would only speak
for Brian.
And if Brian personally said that, she would not believe, let alone Morgan.
"Director Chambers, because Wendy saved Mr. Bennet. Mr. Bennet would not be cruel to this rescuer."
"Director Chambers, you really don't have to think too much, and don't mind Wendy. Brian was helpless This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
that he could not be cruel to Wendy.
Morgan understood Brian's helplessness, and Winnie's grievance. And there were barriers between the
two of them.
This required Winnie to have enough forbearance and tolerance, otherwise they were doomed. But
how many women could do that?
It might not be true love.
"But who is sure that the woman who saved him was Wendy, and what will he do if one day he finds
out that it wasn’t she?"
Winnie was worried that once Brian gained his memory back, he would find that what he had done was
false and all his efforts were not worth it. Then he could not accept it.
"In fact, Mr. Bennet has doubts, the plot said by Wendy was different from his memory. But there's
something wrong with his memory, so he is not sure about it."
"I think he should always be prepared for that, but he should not go too far with Wendy before the
matter is confirmed, otherwise if the woman is really Wendy, he will always compensate more, or
even... he is afraid Wendy put forward unreasonable conditions because he hurts Wendy."
Morgan spoke out Brian's concerns. In a word, he could do nothing to Wendy, or Wendy would pester
him.
"It seems that I have no need to worry. He has room for everyone, but he has no scruple with me.”
Winnie said sadly, but she was happy that Brian was ready for that.
"Director Chambers, you can't think so, Mr. Bennet loves you."
"We've been working with Mr. Bennet for a long time, and we know what kind of man he is and what
kind of temper he has. He keeps secrets from everyone but you."
Morgan explained for Brian, but it was not flattery but real things.
"Director Chambers, let's talk about the relationship between Mr. Bennet and his father. Before you
came along, we all thought their relationship would never improve. We all thought he would never talk
to his father."
"But then you came along and everything changed. Everything we agreed on was overturned. This is
all because of you. Only you can change it. And Mr. Bennet is willing to be changed, because he loves
you."
Morgan said Brian loved Winnie and cared Winnie, but Winnie did not believe it.
She felt that it was not the true, but felt that Brian only vent anger to her. Morgan said Brian never hid
things from her, but she felt he had many things to hide from her.
Like how he felt about the woman who had save his life.
Winnie forced herself to understand and accept everything about Brian, but who would consider her?
She was a woman, although she was tough, she needed a shoulder to lean on, like the broad
shoulders Finn gave her when she wanted to cry.
If Brian gave her that shoulder, she must be the happiest and most secure woman in the world.
Unfortunately, that shoulder was Finn’s. And it was Brian who made her cry.
Winnie smiled dryly.
"It doesn't matter what his attitude is to me. I just hope he doesn't get too close to Wendy and Penny
will not influence his judgment."
Winnie wanted Morgan to convey her words. And he could judge it was a reminder and an advice.
Winnie knew that Brian and Penny would not be together, but she was not sure if Wendy would be with
him. She felt women around him had a problem and were not good for Brian.
But this was her personal opinion, Brian did not think so.
"Director Chambers, don't say that. Give Mr. Bennet another chance..."
Morgan knew Winnie was to give up Brian, so he pleaded for Brian, but Winnie did not give Morgan the
opportunity to explain.
"Morgan, let's not talk about this. Besides talking to you today, I want to give back the car to you."
Winnie gave the car key to Morgan. By drawing a clear line, she meant that everything should not be
related to Brian.
"Director Chambers, I can't take back this key. Mr. Bennet said he'll demote me and take my pay cut if
you bring back the car key."
"Mr. Bennet knew you had a problem with taxis, and that's why he left the car to you."
Morgan could not take the car key, or he would be in trouble.
"I will try my best to overcome the psychological shadow, and as you know, I seldom come out. After
some time, I will go out to participate in activities with my school. This car is a waste to leave it to me.
Take it back, and thank Mr. Bennet for me."
Winnie put the car key in front of Morgan.
However, Morgan pushed the car key back to Winnie.
"Director Chambers, give it back to Mr. Bennet yourself, so I won't be embarrassed."
Brian did not mean to demote Morgan, but Morgan felt if Winnie gave it back herself, Brian could meet
her.
Winnie had to take back the car key for not making a hard time for Morgan.
A new day began. Brian stood in the office by the French window to think of Winnie before he began to
work.
Morgan had told him that Winnie wanted to give back the car, as well as that Winnie wished he could
stay away from Wendy and Penny.
It was understandable, for Winnie had been against him and Wendy to be together.
However, Brian couldn't understand why she asked him to stay from Penny. She knew he hated Penny,
why did she still say that?
Brian was pondering Winnie's intention when Jack knocked on the door.
"Brother... Mr. Bennet, I did what you asked me to do. Here are some cooperation plans I've made.
Please have a look and give me some advice."
Brian spoke cautiously, even nervously.
Brian walked calmly back to his desk and sat down. With a serious look on his face, Brian checked the
time before looking up at Jack.
Looking at Jack, his eyes were cold and stern, and his eyebrows were deeply frowned.
"I gave you two days, but you took five days. It is not qualified."
Brian looked down at Jack's design plan. After two minutes of reading, his brow tightened again, and
then he asked coldly and severely.
"You made this?"
"Yes... I did it."
The plan was indeed done by Jack himself, but Brian's stern look made him nervous and unable to
answer questions.
"In five days, you have only selected a few cases, and all the data you read are successful ones. I can't
believe you gave me such a terrible plan. None of these plans is qualified, and there is even
plagiarism."
Brian looked through each plan and found too many inadequacies. Jack, who had worked hard for
several days, was not convinced.
"Mr. Bennet, you gave me a lot of documents, but you only took a glance. Is it possible that you
misremembered the plan? Maybe you should take a good look at it and give me another opinion."
Although not convinced, Jack did not dare to speak directly, and his attitude was moderate.
"Don't do that. These are the most recent ones. I can't remember them wrong. Don't give me an
excuse, Jack. I even remember the case ten years ago."
Brian turned up his voice at the end of the sentence, ignoring Jack and refusing to give him a chance to
refute.
"Take it back, look it over again, and make a new plan."
Brian commanded chilly, and then threw the document to Jack's arms.
His attitude was clear: he was not satisfied with it and Jack had to start over. His attitude was tough,
and Jack dare not speak out his opinion.
Jack went out, and then the secretary came in.
"Mr. Bennet, the representative of WY is here."
"Wait for me in the conference room. I'm on my way."
Brian commanded serious, because he was busy, he had no time to think about Winnie’s words.
Brian walked into the conference room, and heard an enchanting voice before he looked up.
"Hi, Mr. Bennet. Long time no see. I'm so happy to see you in this way."
Brian looked along the sound and frowned almost immediately.
"You represent WY?"
Brian asked with surprise. There was only possibility for Gloria to show up in the meeting room – she
was in this cooperation. But she had never known anything about business before, and her appearance
in this way was rather dishonest.
