Chapter 105

Chapter 105

105. Frank Harper is Our Daddy

Susan gaped and let out a quick sigh. Something seemed to be stuck in her throat. “Young Master

Harper… is your Daddy?” Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Louis nodded slowly.

With shaking eyes, Susan looked forward again. There, Frank Harper stood still, while Kara looked down

with one hand raised and clutching her head.

“Oh, I understand now.” Susan started nodding. Tears appeared in her eyes. “No wonder he was kind to

us. Turns out he just wanted to make amends.”

After a faint snort, Susan grasped the hands of her two grandchildren. “Emily, Louis, let’s get out of here.”

“Mom….” Kara was about to stop them. However, she didn’t know what to explain.

With drooping shoulders, Kara was forced to watch her loved ones going down the stairs. Then, with an

exasperated sigh, she looked at Frank as if asking for advice.

Unfortunately, Frank was also helpless. He was weak in facing the twin’s sadness and his feelings of

guilt.

Amidst the chaos, there was only one person who looked excited. After brushing aside the guards’

hands, she muttered, “I warned you, Hubby. Storing trash in your house will only bring trouble.”

Then, with a triumphant smile, she walked past everyone, leaving

Frank and Kara still confused.

“Morning, my future granddaughter-in-law. Have you had breakfast?” Rowan made small talk. He knew

the meaning of that bright

expression on her face.

“Yes, I stopped at the cafe after coming from your grandson’s house,”

Isabela answered with a smile.

“Have you carried out your duties?”

With a chuckle, Isabela nodded. “That cheap woman is really shameless. I’ve warned her repeatedly, but

she still doesn’t listen. She really deserves to be taught a lesson.”

After wiping his mouth with a napkin, the old man let out a long sigh. That’s why you can’t let your guard

down. Put your work aside for now. Even though Frank said he would marry you, you can’t let them get

close.”

Isabela shrugged her shoulders. “Don’t worry, Grandpa. I gave them quite a big problem this morning. It

won’t be easy to deal with. I will never let them in peace.”

“How are they now?” Rowan raised an eyebrow.

The corners of Isabela’s lips lifted again. “I berated that woman, embarrassed her in front of the servants

and guards. If she still ha any dignity, she couldn’t possibly stay by Frank’s side.”

“Are you sure that’s enough?”

Isabela folded her arms across her chest. “That must be more than enough, Grandpa. Moreover, those

kids hate Frank now. If that woman loved her kids, she’d be out of the way.”

Instead of smiling, Rowan furrowed his eyebrows. “You made them

The

curve of Isabel’s lips grew wider. “Yes, I forced Frank to admit that they were the children he abandoned.

And apparently, they heard.”

Rowan’s expression dimmed. However, Isabel didn’t pay attention to him. Her tone became even lighter.

“I remember very well, the little girl called Frank a bad person. I’m sure she would never forgive her own

father. So, like it or not, that lowly woman had to take her children.

away.”

Suddenly, Rowan hit the table. The sound made Isabela flinch. “How dare you disobey my orders? I only

asked you to make them irritated, but instead, you offended those children?”

Isabela swallowed hard. Cold sweat began to gather on her fine pores. “What’s wrong with it, Grandpa?

Isn’t our goal to keep them away from Frank?”

“I only told you to keep that woman away from my grandson, not those genius children.”

Isabel blinked incomprehensibly. “What do you mean, Grandpa? You need those children?”

“Yes. They will be the ones who will continue Savior.”

A sigh escaped Isabela’s mouth quickly. Subconsciously, she started to stutter. “But, I’m going to marry

Frank. Do you expect me to be thei mother? And if they inherit the company, what about my child?”

Rowan snorted. “If your child can surpass the abilities of them, he can take over the company. But if not,

don’t expect it!”

Isabel secretly clenched her fists under the table. However, realizing her weak position, she could not

say anything.

“Now, fix your mistake. Bring the children back to Frank’s side. Separate them from their mother.”

Isabela

almost snorted. While holding her breath, she tried to smile. ” Okay. I will make the children hate their

mother. Influencing little kids is easy. Trust me.”

Carrying her bag, she got up from the chair. “Now I have to go. Please continue with your breakfast,

Grandpa.”

After smiling goodbye, she walked towards the door.

‘You selfish old man! When I have become Frank’s wife, I’ll kick both of you out of the house. And those

children, I’ll make sure they suffer.”

“Emily, are you still sad?” Louis asked the little girl sitting near the shelf.

Since this morning, Emily hadn’t made much sound. All she did was just blinking and breathing. Her

hand didn’t leave Yemon even for a second.

“Aren’t you sad?” she replied softly. Her cheeks looked thinner without

a smile.

After sighing faintly, Louis sat down next to her. “I don’t know.

confused.”

Getting no response, Louis glanced over. “It looks like you don’t kn either. This problem is too confusing

for children our age.”

“But don’t you like him? I thought you would be happy because your Mister Kind is our Daddy,” Louis

said with round eyes.

However, Emily remained unenthusiastic. “Did you hear what

Grandma said earlier? He must be pretending to be good because he feels guilty for leaving us.”

Seeing Emily’s eyes fill with tears again, Louis held back his voice for a moment. Then, he asked softly.

“So you don’t like him anymore?”

Emily put Yemon to her chin and hugged it tightly. “I don’t know. But

every

time I think about it, I feel like crying.”

Still with pursed lips, Emily shook her head. She wasn’t in the mood to read, and she knew her mother

was with Frank. If she heard their voices, her tears would no longer be able to be contained.
