Chapter 162 The Most Special Inheritance

Seeing Emily's cute face, Morris' heart tingled. "Take it easy, Young Lady. Your father gets the most

special inheritance."

After placing the documents on the table, he opened the bag. "This is the last legacy on the list."

Morris handed Frank a photo album along with an envelope with a gold seal. "For you, Rowan Harper's

most beloved grandson."

Frank's mood suddenly turned blue. The light in his eyes dimmed. Swallowing hard, he received his

due. "Thank you, Mr. Morison."

Morris widened his smile before showing a hand gesture. "Your grandfather wanted you to read the

letter aloud and without tears."

Frank's breathing grew heavier. His shoulders lifted as he tried to expand his chest. "Okay."

While opening the envelope, he gulped. He was afraid his throat was too narrow to make normal voice.

"Hello, Frank Harper, my great grandson, the grandson I am very proud of." Frank paused to catch his

breath.

"I have taught you for years. Seeing you become as successful as this, I want you to know that you are

my most valuable masterpiece, the reason I keep being enthusiastic and want to live long."

Frank's shoulders began to shake. Emily and Louis competed to give him pats.

"It’s okay, Daddy. Don't cry."

"Yes! Great Grandpa wants Daddy to read the letter out loud and without crying."

Frank sniffed and nodded vaguely. Strengthening his heart, he continued reading.

‘I've given you everything I have. I've given you everything I can.

Therefore, you must understand why I did not give you an inheritance. You are able to get whatever you want. You no longer need anything from me.

The only thing I haven't given you is this album. I hope it could make you understand. Even though I educated you in an inappropriate way, I love you more than anything, including Savior and all my assets.

Warm regards, Rowan Harper.’

Frank ended the letter in a hoarse voice. When he turned his head, he immediately saw the proud

gazes of the people around him.

"Good, Frank."

"Yes, great job, Daddy!"

Morris smiled at the closeness of the family. After putting the documents into his bag, he stood up.

"Because my task has been completed, I should leave. Further documents will follow. Thank you,

Harpers."

"Thank you, Mr. Morison."

After the notary left, Frank opened the album. Emily moved to his right side to get a better look.

"Is that a photo of Daddy when Daddy was little?" Emily poked at the toddler in the first photo with his

tiny finger.

"Yeah," Frank smiled faintly.

"Then that's Great Grandpa Rowan?" Louis pointed to the man holding the little Frank.

Frank nodded. His memories with Rowan began to flow following the moments immortalized in the

picture. "This is the first time he took Daddy to the company."

"How about this? Great Grandpa taught Daddy to ride a horse?" Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

Frank glanced at Louis and nodded. "Yes. Great Grandpa is very good at horse riding."

"Is Great Grandpa also good at fishing?"

Frank looked the other way. Emily was blinking as she stuck her finger in another photo.

"Yes, he used to like fishing."

Kara secretly smiled seeing the twinkle in Frank's eyes. The more he told the twins about his

memories, the brighter his face became.

However, when they arrived at the last page in the album, Frank's lips turned flat again. Even Louis and

Emily became gloomy. Their eyes filled with tears looking at Kara.

"Mommy, it turns out we have a photo with Great Grandpa," Emily said while pouting.

Kara raised an eyebrow. After leaning her head closer, she was stunned.

The top photo was taken when the twins attended the inauguration of the scholarship achievers. Louis

and Emily looked happy while receiving the certificate from Rowan.

The second photo was taken when they ate together in the library cafeteria. The look in Rowan's eyes

towards Louis seemed different from what Kara remembered. Rowan really was like a great-

grandfather treating his great-grandchildren. Obviously, that's a paparazzi's job.

The last photo was taken when the twins hugged Rowan's legs at their birthday event. Kara and Frank

didn't seem alert at all. Their small smiles conveyed more emotion.

"I think Daddy got the most valuable inheritance," Emily muttered, sounding a little jealous.

Frank glanced at her with pursed lips. "Yes. Isn't Daddy very lucky?"

"Can we enlarge this photo to display it on the bedroom wall? So, not only Great Grandpa can see us,

but we can also see Great Grandpa!"

Hearing Louis' idea, everyone nodded. Jeremy, who had been silent before, now spoke, "Let me take

care of it. This afternoon, this photo will be displayed in your three rooms."

"Three?" Kara raised an eyebrow.

Frank could not help but smile. "Jeremy, you are the best."

Kara looked around for an explanation. However, after a few seconds, she let out a laugh. “It can’t be.”

"Yes," Frank confirmed the conclusion in Kara's mind. "The photos will be displayed in the twins’ rooms

and our room ..., Mrs. Harper."

Louis' eyes widened. "Mommy will move to Daddy's room?"

Emily's lips pursed. "But I think Uncle needs to print a photo for Mommy's room too. Daddy has been

sleeping there more often lately."

"How do you know?" Louis stared wide eyed.

"I smelled Daddy's perfume on Mommy's bed." The innocent toddler shrugged.

While Louis narrowed his eyes and glared at him, Frank grinned stiffly. Jeremy and Kara stifled

laughter watching it.

"Kids ...." Susan's voice suddenly distracted them. "Are you finished with your business? How about we

have breakfast? Your favorite menu is ready."

Louis and Emily's eyes instantly lit up. "Mommy made sandwiches?"

"Yes, but with Grandma's help. No problem, right?"

Joyful laughter spread in the air. Excitedly, the twins slid off the sofa and ran towards Susan. Kara

followed with light steps. Meanwhile, Jeremy took the album from Frank's hand.

"You can do that after breakfast," Frank said casually.

"It's okay. I just need to ask Sean for the original file. I'll be right along."

Frank patted his brother's shoulder. "Thanks, Jeremy."

"You're welcome, Young Master."

Frank snorted slightly. He already knew Jeremy's habit of teasing him.

"Another photo?" Jeremy furrowed his eyebrows.

Realizing how his grandfather felt about him, Jeremy smiled. Life was indeed full of surprises.
