Chapter 3075
Shelly was both shocked and deeply moved.
Hayden continued, "I understand that the difference in our backgrounds may make you feel insecure and sensitive, but I don't want similar incidents to happen in the future. If you feel inadequate, you can always study and improve yourself. Escaping is the least useful method to deal with insecurities."
Tears of remorse filled Shelly's eyes. "Yes, I will never do that again. Whatever happens in the future, I will talk to you about it."
"If there's anything you don't want to discuss with me, you can talk to my sister," Hayden said, glancing at Ivy. "Ivy, thank you for helping us clear up this misunderstanding."
Ivy blushed. "We are a family, Hayden. You don't have to thank me!"
"What are your plans after graduation? Have you decided on anything?" Hayden asked.
After giving it some thought, Ivy decided to share her plans with everyone, while they were all present, to dismiss any lingering concerns.
"I want to visit Taronia first. My grandmother, who raised me, is buried there. I want to pay my respects to her grave and stay in Taronia for a while." Ivy revealed her plan. Everyone froze in surprise as Ivy had not returned to Taronia since she returned to Aryadelle.
In the blink of an eye, three years had passed, and Ivy had transformed from a somewhat insecure girl into a confident and poised young lady.
Without hesitation, Robert spoke up. "Ivy, I'll accompany you to Taronia during my summer vacation. I also want to visit and have some fun there."
Ivy smiled. "To be honest, there's not much to see in Taronia. I'll just go and pay a visit. I might not stay for long. I'll bring a bodyguard with me when I go."

"I really want to go with you, Ivy," Avery expressed.
"Mom, you and Dad need to focus on Hayden and Shelly's wedding. I'll go by myself. Once the wedding preparations are almost done, I'll come back," Ivy said.
Avery agreed, "All right. When are you planning to go? Where will you stay? You don't have any acquaintances left in Taronia, do you?"
"I'll go after I submit my thesis. I'll stay in a hotel when I get there. As long as I have money, I won't have any problems living there. Although the overall development there is relatively behind, the city center is stiff bustling," Ivy explained
After dinner, Shelly and Hayden returned to their room. Although Hayden had forgiven Shelly, she still wanted to have a heartfelt conversation with him.
Shelly pulled Hayden onto the small couch in the bedroom. "Has the issue with your company really been resolved?" Shelly asked worriedly.
"My dad helped," Hayden said.
Shelly was shocked. "But I thought you don't like your family meddling with your business."
"I don't like having them involved in my work, but my current issue isn't with the business itself. It's a legal issue. Aryadelle and Bridgedale are different. I don't have as many connections here as my dad, so I got him to help me with it. It was a small issue, and hardly as bad as you imagined it to be. I could have resolved it myself, but it would have cost me more money and time."
"I see." Shelly felt even more guilty. "I'm really sorry, Hayden. I don't want to part with you again. I've missed you."
He held her close. "I missed you, too. I've had a hard time adjusting while you were gone."
