Chapter 3077
Everyone immediately fell silent.
A daring secretary approached Eliam and pulled him aside, whispering, "Mr. Golan, who does the boss favor? Can you give us some inside information? I mean, we all saw Ms. Taylor sleep in the same tent as Mr. Tate, so it seemed like they had something going on. And now, Ms. Abbott seems to have a chance as well!"
Eliam replied, "You'll find out when Ms. Abbott comes out."
"Alright, it seems like Ms. Abbott doesn't stand a chance," the secretary speculated.
Eliam chuckled and said, "You're quite the guesser."
"It's because of the way you just spoke," the secretary said, analyzing the situation. "When Ms. Taylor visited, you were beaming with joy. But now, your mood is obviously different." Eliam gave the secretary a thumbs up in jest.
In the President's office, Seraphina entered with a beaming smile and walked up to Hayden.
"Hayden, last time we met, you wouldn't give me your contact information, so I'm really happy that you called me here today," she said.
Hayden responded sternly, "Who gave you the right to go to Shelly and spread lies about me? Ms. Abbott, your father introduced you to me, claiming you received the best education, but is this how you behave? Do you think that by sowing discord between me and Shelly, I'll suddenly become interested in you?"
Seraphina blushed, feeling embarrassed. "Shelly complained about me to you?"
Hayden retorted, "She's not like you; she doesn't badmouth anyone in front of me. Ms. Abbott, I called you here today to tell you that Shelly is the woman I've chosen to marry, and I will marry her. If you continue to run your mouth in front of her, this conversation will be the least of your worries."
Seraphina's eyes reddened as she felt deeply humiliated. "Is Shelly really that great?"
"That does not require your validation so long as she is good enough for me," Hayden replied firmly.
Seraphina laughed sarcastically.
"Hahaha! Those words might fool someone who doesn't know the truth, but not me! My dad told me that Shelly gave birth to twins for you, and that's why your parents adofe her. You are just marrying her to follow your family's wishes! I thought you had your own mind, but it turns out you're just a puppet of your family!"
Hayden replied calmly, "I have a harmonious relationship with my family, and that's because our judgments on people and things align. They like Shelly, and so dol. Just because the outcomes of these two things look the same, doesn't mean I don't have my own thoughts."
Tears streamed down Seraphina's cheeks as she said, "Since you love Shelly so much, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!"
"Thank you." He paused for a moment and added, "You can leave now."
Seraphina left Hayden's office in tears and darted toward the elevator.
Meanwhile, in the secretary's office, there was a commotion.
"Ms. Abbott was crying!"
"Was she? I didn't see anything! All I saw was her rushing by right in front of me!"
"She definitely cried! I heard her sobbing!"

is Ms. Abbott from a powerful family, she literally looks like a doll, and even a woman like me feels drawn to her, yet our boss doesn't even budge."
Just then, Hayden opened the door to his office and walked out.
