His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3104

Ivy knew that he did not like owing people, so she presented him with the receipt for the groceries. "Just pay me for the groceries. I'm actually not that good a cook, so don't pay me too much. I'll be eating the

food, too, anyway."

He accepted the receipt and glanced at the price.

Noticing that it cost about forty dollars, he walked toward the dining room and studied the dishes that looked rather presentable.

Wondering how they tasted, he took a bite.

Ivy looked at him with anticipation. "How is it? Do you like it?"Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Get me a glass of water," he said.

She did as she was told. "Is it too salty? Have your tastes changed?"

"No. I'm just thirsty," he said.

Ivy breathed a sigh of relief.

"The food tastes ordinary," he commented, then took out his phone and transferred fifty dollars to Ivy.

Looking at the money, Ivy could not help but laugh. "Mr. Woods, do you think my cooking is only worth ten dollars? You might as well not pay me anything at all! It's so insulting!" Lucas was incredulous. "Are you trying to get compliments from me?"

"Not really. I just don't think it tastes that bad!"

Lucas clarified, "I didn't say it was bad."

"Should I go ahead and serve pasta, then?"

Lucas nodded. "Sure."

She served him a plate of pasta and took one for herself as well. Seated across from Lucas, Ivy asked, "Mr. Woods, do you have any other plans for the evening?" "Why are you asking?"

"Just curious!" Ivy playfully replied.

"Aren't you leaving soon?"

"Yes! So you don't need to be guarded with me..."

Lucas interrupted her and said, "If that's the case, there's no need for me to share my private plans with you."

"Alright. Let me tell you my plans for tonight instead."

Lucas wanted to say that he was not interested, but he did not utter a word, and Ivy continued chatting. "After going back to the hotel, I take a shower, wash my hair and do some laundry-"

"It sounds so boring."

"Is your nightlife more exciting than mine?" Ivy retorted.

"I'm working overtime."

"That's even more boring!" After a pause, she added, "How about we go out and take a stroll? I haven't been here in a long time, and I don't know what it's like out there at night anymore." "What about the big guy who accompanied you to my company last time?"

"What about him?" She asked.

"You can ask him to accompany you."

"He has his own things to do! There's no end to work, and

sometimes, you need to find a

balance between work and leisure!

Let's go out for a walk after dinner! I want to buy some gifts for my family."

son?

Considering that Ivy would soon leave, Lucas agreed to this request without thinking too much about it.

After dinner, Ivy quickly washed the dishes and went out with Lucas. As they exited the building, they bumped into Archer.

Both Ivy and Lucas were shocked to see Archer there, and he was equally surprised.

Ivy quickly stepped forward, took

Archer's arm, and lead him aside

"Archer, why are you waiting for me here? Lucas and I are going out for a walk I'll go home by myself. Just head back to the hotel!"

"Huh? Are you two going on a date?" Archer asked.

"It's not a date. We were just going out for a casual walk while I buy some small gifts."

"Can't I join you?" he asked.
