His Games, Her Rules

Sixty One

I have always been an early bird because I work in a hospital and I always check in early. So waking up early has become a habit. I stare at my reflection in the mirror as I keep my toothbrush back. I haven’t seen Dominique since I woke up so I assume he’s still asleep.

I run my fingers through my hair as I make my way out of the en-suite bathroom and go straight to the kitchen. I need coffee. In the living room, I pause on my track as I stare at Dominique lying on the couch sleeping. His hair is everywhere, sticking out in brown strands. His long legs are dangling off the couch with his right arm splayed across his forehead and covering his eyes. His left hand is inside his gray sweats and there’s a little strain on his face. Like he’s having a bad dream.

He looks innocent, like a regular man. Not to mention he looks really hot when he sleeps too. The drapes are drawn shut, the light from the standing lamp the only source of light in here. I exhale, biting my bottom lip as I walk toward the kitchen. Thankfully, there is instant coffee, milk, and sugar in the cabinets. I get to work, pouring teaspoons of coffee into a mug, sugar cubes, and putting a kettle of water on the fire.

My phone pings, with a message notification displaying on the screen. I reach for it and unlock it. It’s a text message from Monique.

From Monique: Hey, Bestie. How’s California treating you? Did you share a bed with Dominique? I bet you guys even had a shower together. Give me all the fun deets now!

I giggle as I instantly type a response.

Me: In your dreams. We didn’t share a bed. I made him sleep on the couch. And California is great. I haven’t explored it yet, though. Will do that later.

The kettle starts to whistle and I turn the stove off. I pour water into the mug and add milk to it as I stir.

There’s a new message from Monique as I go through it.

From Monique: You made him sleep on the couch? How could you? You are supposed to get “your” man during this vacation and not push him away.

I groan as I type a response with one hand while I stir my coffee with the other.

Me: One, he’s not my man. We only had sex once, but that doesn’t mean we’re automatically into each other. And for the last time, honey, nobody is getting anybody.

I press send and keep my phone on the counter to properly stir my coffee. My phone buzzes with countless messages from Monique. I don’t bother to read or go through them as I pull out one stool and sit down.

“None for me?” A familiar, hoarse voice says as I look up at once, locking eyes with beautiful blue eyes.

Dominique stands by the kitchen door, with messy bed hair that looks really sexy on him, as he stares at me with a blank expression. My eyes sweep over his body, taking in the details of his toned arms, the outline of his toned stomach, and the tattoos on his golden skin, and lingering a little longer on his evident morning erection.

Oh, boy.

I gulp at the size of his length and memories of that night flash through my eyes as I bite my bottom lip and squeeze my thighs together. Dominique smirks at me when he catches me staring at his dick and I duck my head, staring at the mug of coffee in my hand.

From the corner of my eyes, I notice Dominique staring at me. To hide my embarrassment and blush, I bring the coffee to my lips to take a sip. I hiss at once when the liquid touches my tongue and burns it.

“Fuck.” I scoff as I set the coffee down on the counter.

“Are you hurt?” Dominique asks. I look up to find Dominique beside me. His masculine scent and how sexy he looks right now give me an instant paralysis and I can’t even make out words.

Dominique exhales as he bends down so that we’re eye to eye. He holds my chin and gestures for me to open my mouth. I obey, like his little sub as I slip out my tongue. He examines my tongue while I stare at the outline of his face and how attractive he looks even though he’s just waking up. Dominique shifts his gaze to my eyes as he holds my gaze for a minute. From our proximity, I can feel the warmth seeping through his pores, I can smell his minty breath, obviously from brushing his teeth, and how he reeks of sex appeal.

I can hear my heart beating in my ears by the way he’s staring at me at this moment and all I want to do is pull him down and kiss him.

“Fuck.” Dominique exhales as he moves his gaze to my tongue. He clears his throat and taps his forefinger against my cheek, gesturing for me to put my tongue in my mouth. He stands upright and clears his throat again. “There’s a little sore on it. You’ll be fine.”

He steps away from me as he walks around the counter to stand on the other side opposite me. I don’t say a word as I bring the mug to my mouth to blow air into it.

“Where were you yesterday? I waited.”

Okay. Seriously, I told myself I was not going to do this. I am not going to be this girl. But instead, I’m doing what I told myself I wouldn’t do.

“You waited, huh?” Dominique smirks at me as he raises one eyebrow.

I roll my eyes, scolding myself in my head. Now, he’s going to think I’m falling for him even though I don’t want to acknowledge my feelings. And that’s just… crazy.

“You brought me to California and then you left me all alone here. So, yes, I waited.”

“That’s sweet.”

I scoff and roll my eyes as I take a sip from my coffee. Thankfully, it doesn’t burn my tongue. I can still remember how he carried me from the living room to the bedroom and then he kissed my forehead. I don’t know why, but I felt a different kind of feeling in the pit of my stomach last night. A strange kind of feeling and I sort of liked it.

He’s doing something to me and I don’t understand what it is. Hate to think that I love every bit of it even though everything is happening too fast and it’s confusing me.

“I was with Leo and Oliver.”

“Right.”

“I wanted to call you to tell you not to wait up, but then I realized I didn’t have your number.” He gives me a look as he picks up my mug and takes a sip from my coffee.

“Are you asking me to give you my number?”

Dominique smirks as he lowers the mug, his complete attention on me. “Yeah.”

I chuckle, not surprised by his blunt reply.

I unlock my phone, navigating to the dial pad as I hand him my phone. “Your number.”

Dominique sets the mug down and collects my phone from my hand. He types in his number, presses the call icon, and then types in something before giving me back my phone. I stare at the contact and the name he used in saving his number. Hunk with a red heart.

“Seriously? Hunk.” I smile and shake my head, chuckling.

“Don’t change it.” He warns as he gives me a playful smirk before bringing my mug of coffee to his lips and gulping it.

Instinctively, I flick my gaze to his Adam’s apple as it bobs with every gulp. Dominique winks at me when he catches me staring as he sets the mug in front of me.This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

“You should go get ready. We’re meeting my family for breakfast. They’re eager to meet Dominique’s mysterious girlfriend.”

“Huh?”

“Mmm-mm.”

I pick up the mug and finish the coffee. “What should I wear?” I ask as I stand up, with the empty mug in my hand as I turn around to rinse it.

I can feel his eyes on my back, watching me. This nightdress is particularly short, just like every other nightdress he bought for me. It’s an inch below my butt and I cannot bend down with this dress. Waiting for Dominique’s response and getting none, I turn to stare at him from above my shoulder, only to find him staring at my butt.

“Aren’t you shameless?” I ask, turning to face the sink as I rinse the mug under the running water.

“You look hot and I can’t look away even though I want to.”

“Right,” I mutter under my breath as I dust off the water in the mug. I stand on my toes to open the kitchen cabinet as my dress rises a little, exposing the curve of my butt. I drop the mug inside it, pushing it further with my fingers which only results in my dress rising further and exposing more of my butt cheeks. I’m wearing panties inside it and it’s a lacy thong.

Why’s this erotic? Especially since I’m a hundred percent sure Dominique is staring at my butt.

I hear Dominique curse under his breath as he groans and clears his throat at the same time. I try not to smile knowing I had such an effect on him.

I turn around to pick up the instant coffee and just as I predicted, Dominique is watching me. I shake my head, hating every nerve in my body for responding to his heated gaze.

“You know you could be a gentleman and look away,” I whisper, licking my bottom lip as I turn around again to drop the container of instant coffee.

I freeze before I can stand on my toes. Dominique is behind me, his breath tickling the back of my neck. I can feel his growing erection against my lower back as my breath hitches in my throat and I bite down on my bottom lip. Blood rushes to my face and every other sensitive part of my body.

Dominique takes the container from my hand and drops it inside the cabinet. “You and I know you love it when I stare at you, Robyn,” he whispers into my ear.

Dominique keeps back the pack of sugar as he shuts the cabinet. Slowly, he turns me around, pressing me against the sink and caging me.

“Why did you buy me these types of nightwear, then?” I ask when I finally find my voice.

Dominique smirks. “Cause I know you’ll look good in them. But standing on your toes and showing me your butt is just something else, isn’t it?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Of course, you do,” he whispers. “You and I know you drive me insane and then you had to stand on your fucking toes.” He leans down to nuzzle my neck. “You’ve got me right where you want me, don’t you? Tell me, Robyn. Did you do that on purpose?” He whispers into my ear, biting my earlobe as he slips his hand past the hem of my dress. A whimper escapes my lips before I can stop it.

His palm on my thigh is hot, setting my body on fire as he brushes his hand up my thigh to the curve of my butt. Dominique palms the flesh in his hand as he squeezes.

“Why don’t you tell me why you bought me a short dress, Dom? You and I know the reason why you bought me this dress and every other short thing in that wardrobe. You like it when I tease you.”

Dominique pulls his head back to stare into my eyes. He smirks, his lips a mere inch from mine as he bites his bottom lip.

If only he could lean a little closer and slam his lips on mine. I would really like that.

“Maybe I wanted to be in this position with you right now. And trust me when I say you’ve got me wrapped around your pretty little fingers and my dick likes the attention you’re giving it.”

Dominique leans closer, pressing his hard-on against my stomach as he brings out his hand from inside my dress to torture me further.

I want to push him away before this gets out of hand. But why can’t I? I don’t think I want to and my body doesn’t disagree.

I whimper and moan when his knuckles graze my hardened nipple. Dominique smirks, obviously enjoying torturing me as he holds my nipple in between his fingers and starts to roll it through the thin silky material. We are in the danger zone and I don’t feel like pushing him away at this moment. I don’t want to.

I slip my hand inside his shirt to feel his warm skin as I lean closer, our lips brushing against each other.

“Aren’t you a little tease?” Dominique groans against my lips as he palms my breast. Slowly, he kneads it against his hand, a moan escapes my lips and I almost climax.

I run my palm down his chest, slowly bringing my palm lower as I hook my finger around the waistband of his sweats.

“Why don’t you just shut up and kiss me already?” I whisper against his lips as I grab his dick through his sweats.

Dominique groans and pinches my nipple. “What are you doing? If you continue, I’m going to have to fuck you against this counter. That’s unless you beg for it.”

God, what am I doing? Wasn’t I the one who said we’re never going down this path again? Why am I letting him torture me like this?

“Kiss me, Dom,” I whisper, my eyes flutter shut as he continues to roll my hard nipple in between his fingers.

“I told you I won’t, not unless you beg me to.” And then he pulls away, leaving me starved and horny, with frustration building up in my core.

Is he crazy? What the fuck just happened?

I spring my eyes open, anger evident in my face. “What the fuck, Dominque?”

“You sound frustrated,” he says as he smirks at me.

“I am frustrated.”

“Good. Just what I want you to be.” Slowly, he turns and heads toward the kitchen door, leaving me speechless and sexually frustrated at the same time. He stops and turns to look at me, a smug smirk playing on his lips. “Breakfast is by 9. Wear something hot.” And then he walks away.

Oh, he’s going to pay for this.
