Alexander playfully glared at Galen, but the latter giggled and held his mother tighter.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Olivia and Edward chuckled when they noticed it. Still, they thought it would have been an even more wonderful moment if not for the experiment.
After spending some time with her children, Lily told the others to send them back to their rooms.
She then sat down and looked at everyone, clearing her throat before saying, “Since I'm most familiar with the current situation, I'm the most likely candidate who can gain Queen Yasmin's trust. Old man, you shouldn't go because it's pointless.
"I've heard about the plan, but even if we show her that the experiment will fail, she'd ultimately wake up. She'll then brush it off as a dream and a scheme of ours. We would've solved this issue long ago if we could change her mind so easily."
Although Dominic was quiet, everyone knew from his eyes that he agreed with her. Of course, he considered failing when he proposed the idea. Still, he did not think it through because they were running out of time.
Lily continued, "So, | think the most viable method is to use a drug that can induce a state of simulated death. Only by experiencing death would she think that it's not as scary. | know it's risky, and I'm not sure if she still trusts me, especially after what happened today.
“After all, she has even detained her son. | can only try my best," Lily murmured. Although her voice was soft at the end, they knew she meant she might not be able to return.
Olivia nervously grabbed Edward's hand and asked Lily, "Must you go?" "| have to." If it were not for the circumstances, Lily would not have spoken about this in Olivia's presence.
After a pause, Lily continued, "There are some unfinished experiments back in the studio that | might be unable to complete. When you have the time, start packing up and maybe sell off the place. We might not need it anymore."
"Don't be silly!" Olivia's eyes reddened. "How can we not need it? Don't tell me you're disbanding the studio. What about me? | have to raise my child. You have to come back!"
Lily smiled. "I only said | might close the studio. | didn't say | wouldn't come back. Perhaps | can start a new career."
Olivia knew Lily was trying to comfort her. "I'll join you if you start a new career. You can't get rid of me that quickly. | want you to be my boss forever."
"Well..." Lily rubbed her brow, looking troubled. "You're putting a lot of pressure on me, you know."
"Not just that, okay?" Alexander said gently, wrapping his arm aro her, shoulder. “Qui of Wl be waiting fovoe: ominic and | need you, too. Just know that I'll always be here for you." Please read the original content at NovelDrama.Org.
