Hot Night With CEO

Love Bird

This evening, David was once again assigned by Darian as a bodyguard. And of course, David gladly accepted it because he also wanted to meet Alea. His mind was restless since the incident when Alea poured water on Darian earlier that afternoon. He didn’t know why he was so concerned about that girl. His life had become uneasy ever since he took away her innocence. Alea’s eyes filled with hatred and anger haunted him like a spell that he couldn’t shake off from his mind.

David observed Darian’s tender behavior towards Fahira as they conversed in the elevator. David felt like a mosquito now, regretting accepting Darian’s offer to ride the exclusive elevator for top executives along with the two love birds. He gave them that nickname because he always witnessed their affectionate moments. It wasn’t just David; anyone who saw them could read the significance of Darian’s gaze towards the girl in front of him. Darian’s world now seemed to revolve around Fahira.

“Swear to anything, I won’t fall in love with my best friend!” David grumbled inwardly as he quickly walked away from the elevator, leaving the two love birds who seemed completely oblivious to his presence.

Upon arriving in front of Rusun Mawar, Fahira didn’t immediately get out of Darian’s car. She appeared to be contemplating something. Sensing her unease, Darian took the initiative to start the conversation.

“Tell me what’s bothering you, Honey?” Darian gently held Fahira’s slender fingers and brought them to his lap, gazing into her deep black eyes filled with concern.

“I want to go back to Surabaya before we get married. I want to visit my parents’ graves. Even seeing them for the last time, Ariel and I never got the chance. Until now, we haven’t visited their graves,” Fahira explained, her eyes starting to well up with tears.

“It’s not without reason that we haven’t gone back. We’re just following the orders of the person who brought us here. I don’t even know who they are. But thanks to them, I can stay here and work in your company. I just followed the instructions in the letter they left. It feels like they have prepared everything so meticulously.” Darian’s eyebrows furrowed. He seemed to be considering something. The investigation into the death of Fahira’s parents had not yielded any results yet. He was still waiting for the findings from David’s trusted investigator. And now, he had to unravel this new mystery. Who was the person Fahira was referring to?

“Do you feel like someone is watching you and Ariel?” Darian asked with a worried expression. Fahira simply shook her head in response.

Darian’s hand reached out and caressed Fahira’s cheek. “Don’t worry, I promise that we’ll go to Surabaya soon.” Darian looked into Fahira’s eyes affectionately and smiled. He needed to find out the truth behind the planned murder of Fahira’s family and reveal the investigation results and motives to Fahira. Sooner or later, she would know.

“Oh, I want you to wear the ring I gave you. I want everyone to know that you’re my future wife,” Darian continued, causing Fahira’s heart to warm up. Fahira smiled and reached for something in her bag.

Her left hand took Darian’s right hand and placed the diamond ring in his palm. Darian looked puzzled for a moment, but then his lips broke into a wide smile when Fahira extended her hand.

Slowly, Darian placed the diamond ring on Fahira’s ring finger. “Beautiful!” he whispered, then brought her hand to his lips to kiss it.

Darian got out of the car and accompanied Fahira to the front door of her house.

In another place, David stood still in front of Alea’s apartment door. His heart was still uncertain about knocking on the door in front of him. “Why am I so busy dealing with this girl!” David grumbled in his heart as he turned away, deciding not to meet Alea and leave her life forever. He took a step towards the luxury apartment’s door, but his steps halted at the third door he passed.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Shit!” he cursed in frustration, imagining Alea doing something crazy like yesterday. David quickly turned back and knocked on Alea’s apartment door. Before his fingers could touch the door, Alea swung it open with a flat expression.

“What are you doing here?” Alea glared at David with irritation, folding her arms across her chest while scrutinizing the macho appearance of the man standing before her. David was wearing jeans paired with an unbuttoned white shirt, and Alea could easily guess how attractive the man standing in front of her was.

“Just making sure you’re okay!” David replied briefly, intending to leave, but a hand firmly held onto his arm.

“Don’t go, keep me company!” Alea whispered, causing David to turn and look at her with an unreadable expression.

David scanned the luxurious pastel-toned apartment. It was neat and clean, of course.

“Sorry, it’s a mess,” Alea said, inviting David to sit in the living room. She headed to the mini bar in the corner of the living room and grabbed a few bottles of drinks and two glass cups.

“It’s still afternoon; I just want coffee!” David refused the drinks that Alea brought straight to the point.

“I thought you came to accompany me in drinking. I need to refresh my mind from Darian,” said Alea casually as she placed the bottles and glasses on the table.

“Do you have coffee powder and sugar? I’ll make it myself,” David suggested, and Alea nodded her head in response. She opened a bottle of wine and poured it into a glass.

David got up from his seat and went to the kitchen. He searched for a jar of sugar and coffee powder and then grabbed a glass. After preparing the coffee with a bit of sugar to his taste, he pointed the glass towards the water dispenser. The aroma of coffee filled the air as hot water poured from the dispenser’s spout.

“Why do you care about me?” Alea asked, looking at David who had returned to sit beside her. He stirred the coffee he had made while inhaling its aroma. He observed David’s every move attentively. His fair face and sleek black hair contrasted sharply with Darian’s appearance. They were like night and day.

“I see your relationship with Darian is more than just boss and employee!” Alea interrogated, not minding David’s indifference. Instead of answering Alea’s questions, David seemed to savor the hot coffee as he blew on it gently.

“You don’t like Darian’s secretary either, do you?” Alea continued. This time, David reacted, shifting his gaze from the coffee cup in his hand to the beautiful face beside him.

“Darian and I have been friends since high school, and my feelings for Fahira are just that of a co-worker. I sympathize with her polite and courteous manner. Well, I see her more like a little sister!” David explained before taking another sip of his coffee.

“Hahahaha… What’s so great about that village girl? My face is much prettier. Not to mention sexier. I’m far superior!” Alea sneered as she poured another drink from the bottle and took a gulp of wine from her glass.

“You’re drunk, Alea. And if you can’t handle alcohol, you shouldn’t be drinking like this!” David grabbed Alea’s glass and placed it on the table. He was sure that Alea’s body couldn’t tolerate too much alcohol. She was already starting to babble incoherently after just one bottle.

“Where is it? I’m not satisfied yet!” Alea tried to reach for her glass again, but David quickly moved it away.

Emmm… Suddenly, Alea aggressively kissed David’s lips. “Stop it, I don’t want you to regret it!” David pushed Alea’s face away from his.

“I need some fun. Tonight, you have to keep me company. I don’t care what we do. I just want to be happy,” Alea continued, hugging David tightly.

A rough exhale escaped David’s lips. He returned the hug and kissed the top of her head.

“Are you sure?” David asked to confirm. He couldn’t resist his desire, but he also wanted to do this consensually, just like he had with his previous partners.

Alea smiled seductively as she stood up and began to take off her clothes one by one until she was left with a pair of sexy black underwear that made David gulp hard. David remained frozen in place, his eagle eyes scanning the seductive curves of her body before him.

“You’re drunk. I better leave!” David tried to get up from his seat, but Alea held him back. She now sat on David’s lap, framing her face with her hands and sensually licking her lips.

Unable to contain his desire any longer from Alea’s amateurish seduction, David responded with a more passionate kiss. Their lips moved from each other’s, descending to Alea’s slender neck. Soft moans escaped from Alea’s lips, further igniting David’s desire. David released the kiss and lifted Alea bridal-style, carrying her towards her bedroom.

With Alea’s help, David’s clothes began to come off. He immediately pinned her down and looked into her dark brown eyes. The desire that had been burning inside him suddenly extinguished to its core. For the first time, David couldn’t take things further with the girl beneath him.

David lowered his body next to Alea and said, “I can’t go on!” Alea was taken aback. Her body froze. She never expected the jerk next to her to still have a compassionate side in his heart. Alea had already resigned herself to her circumstances. She no longer cared about her reputation and fame. All she needed right now was a friend she could talk to, someone who could understand her feelings. After her failed engagement with Darian a few days ago, her parents were angry and blamed her. Their families had become a trending topic in the news, and her parents felt ashamed and asked her to disappear for a while to quell the gossip and news.

“Sleep, I’ll stay with you tonight! I won’t leave until you kick me out,” David whispered as he hugged Alea tightly. He pulled the blanket to cover both of them and closed his eyes. Alea lifted her face, gazing at the man embracing her, then slowly closed her eyes, a soft smile forming on her lips.
