I Refuse to Divorce

Chapter 55

Chapter 55

Zoe couldn't react in time.

Mason turned her around to face the floor-to-ceiling window while he tightly embraced her from behind. He forced her to look at herself in the window.

His words were full of humiliation.

"If I'm not mistaken, you want to trade your body for Mia's freedom, right? But I've slept with this body countless times. Do you still think it's worth anything? Or do you prefer to indulge with men in a place like this rather than go back to being the respectable Mrs. Lockwood?"

With just a few sentences, he shattered her completely.

Zoe was not his match.

Besides, Mason knew her body well. While verbally humiliating her, he tormented her physically.

"Hold back, don't get my pants dirty!"

Zoe's forehead was covered in a thin layer of sweat, and her black hair clung to her head, looking disheveled. Finally, she couldn't hold back the tears any longer and cried out, "Mason, please stop!"

"Stop what? Didn't you want to sleep with me?"

Mason was clearly angry. He pressed his cold face against her small one. Each word pronounced sharply, "Zoe, you must feel wronged. You must want to know why I won't divorce you or let you go, right?" Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

Zoe was a bit absent-minded.

Mason grabbed her delicate face, his tone soft. "I'll give you the answer."

He took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around Zoe's body. Zoe struggled.

"Mason, what are you doing?"

Mason picked her up horizontally. "Isn't it what you wanted? There's a place I've always wanted to sleep with you again."

Zoe guessed where it was.

It was where she and Mason first had sex.

Room 6201 at the Reese Hotel.

She couldn't agree to go there.

She struggled desperately, even crying out loud because she couldn't break free. If life could start over, she hoped she had never pushed that door open. That way, today might not have happened.

However, no matter how much she struggled and cried, it couldn't stop Mason.

Zoe felt extremely embarrassed.

Inside his loose suit jacket, she was only wearing a set of black lingerie. Even though the employees in the company lobby didn't dare to scrutinize, it was easy to guess what had happened before.

Mason put her in the car.

Zoe had stopped struggling. She sat there dazed, her eyes devoid of any anger, looking resigned.

Mason took out his phone and made a call, giving brief instructions. After hanging up, Zoe remained in a daze.

Mason did not even consider her feelings.

The car drove fast, and in less than 20 minutes, it stopped in the parking lot of the Reese Hotel in Brookesville. Mason unfastened his seatbelt and carried Zoe out.

She was nestled in his arms, shivering.

Mason didn't go through the lobby. Instead, he took the elevator directly to the top floor. The top floor had only two presidential suites. 6201 and 6202.

The hotel manager waited at the door. Seeing Mason coming out of the elevator, he immediately took out the room key, smiling.

"Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood, have a pleasant evening."

Mason took the key and swiped open the door of room 6202.

He closed the door behind them.

The suite covered an area of 1600 square meters. All the furniture was luxurious, with world-famous brands everywhere. In addition to the master bedroom and the study living room, it also came with an audio-visual room and a game room. Therefore, the room rate was exorbitant, reaching up to hundreds of thousands per night.

Mason carried Zoe to the audio-visual room.

It was like a small cinema, with a set of luxurious dark-colored sofas in the center, looking soft and comfortable. Zoe was tossed onto it, and then the lights dimmed.

Sitting beside her, Mason took out his phone and connected to Bluetooth, playing a video that had been cherished on his phone for three years.
