Chapter 927 Move Back Home (Part One)

Chapter 927 Move Back Home (Part One)

Lawrence went straight to his car as soon as he stepped out of the bar. But, instead of going to his

apartment, he drove straight for the Chu family's villa.

Bill was weeding the garden when Lawrence arrived at the villa. He stopped what he was doing and

met Lawrence by his car.

"What brings you here, Mr. Lawrence?" Bill asked with a puzzled look the moment Lawrence stepped

out of the car. It had been a long time since Lawrence visited the villa, not since he bought his

apartment. Why was he suddenly here, without any notice, Bill wondered.

"I have to take care of some things. Where is Lily?" Lawrence asked while he headed for the villa. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

"Lily is inside the villa," Bill replied, as he entered the villa after Lawrence.

Lawrence went straight to the living room, with Bill behind him. He settled himself on the lounge without

saying anything.

Remembering that Lawrence needed Lily, Bill looked for her. He came back to the living room with Lily

in tow.

Lily studied Lawrence as she entered the living room. With his blank, emotionless face, she couldn't

figure out what was on his mind. She stood a few feet away from him, not saying a word.

"Lily," Lawrence greeted the old maid earnestly.

"Hello, Mr. Lawrence, welcome back. What can I do for you?" Lily greeted with obedience.

"Clean all the rooms on the second floor and change all the sheets," Lawrence ordered. Lily and Bill

were confused and it showed in their faces. Lawrence continued, "Dad, Mom, and Violet are coming

home tomorrow."

Bill and Lily both gasped at the news, shock coloring their faces. They couldn't believe what they just

heard.

Bill and Lily exchanged glances before Bill asked Lawrence, "Is this really true, Mr. Lawrence? They're

coming home?"

"Yes, it's true. Mom called this morning and asked me to pick them up at the airport tomorrow,"

Lawrence confirmed. "You two need to clean up the house and get everything ready for their arrival."

"Of course, we'll get everything ready," Lily said. A wide grin appeared on her face. She was so excited

about Cherry's return and she didn't bother hiding it.

"Take extra care with my mother's room. She wants it to look exactly the way they left it," Lawrence

reminded Lily.

"Of course, Mr. Lawrence," Lily agreed.

Bill asked Lawrence, "Would you like me to pick up your family at the airport, Mr. Lawrence?"

Lawrence shook his head. "There's no need, Bill. They want me to do it. Alice will be there also. Just

wait here at home," Lawrence told Bill.

"Of course, I'll prepare a sumptuous lunch feast for tomorrow," Lily announced. 'I'll do everything I can

to give them a grand welcome, ' she thought.

Lawrence stopped her. "I will call you tomorrow if we will have lunch here. They might head straight to

Uncle Wilson's house to visit my grandparents first."

Lily nodded, with sad eyes, "Of course. Mrs. Cherry has been away from the city for years. She must

miss her family very much and be dying to see them."

"Oh yes, and they miss Miss Violet, too," Bill agreed.

Lawrence stood up and looked them in the eyes. He said, "That's all. Just make sure to do the things I

said. I will let you know if there's anything else that needs to be done."

Bill nodded, "Yes, okay."

Lawrence walked towards the door.

When she realized Lawrence was about to leave, Lily ran to catch up with him. She asked, "Will you be

sleeping here tonight, Mr. Lawrence?" She tried to ask as gentle as she can, careful not to step on any

toes with Lawrence.

Lawrence stopped when Lily asked. "Yes," he nodded and kept his face straight head to the door. "I just

have to deal with a few things. But from tomorrow on, I will be living here again."

Lily and Bill didn't say a word until Lawrence walked out and closed the door behind him.

"Maybe Mr. Lawrence is worried about the lady," Bill assumed.

Lily sighed and felt devastated for Lawrence. "If Mr. Lawrence really likes that lady, he should tell his

parents soon. He can't keep them in the dark forever," she told Bill.

"I know. I agree with you. And with Mr. Jackson's temper," Bill worried, "if he knew Mr. Lawrence bought

an apartment so he can live with her and she..." Bill stopped, unable to finish his sentence. After a

pause, he continued, "Mr. Jackson will be very angry."

"Mrs. Cherry will be there. She is a sensible woman and she loves her son very much. She will

understand. And she can talk to Mr. Jackson about it," Lily blurted out. "But the lady still comes from an

unknown family. That's going to be a big problem."

Bill was silent. He knew what Lily said made a lot of sense. But he didn't think there was a solution to

this problem. Once the Chu family were back together under one roof, he believed Lawrence's

marriage was going to be their focus.

It was already past 8:00 pm when Lawrence opened the main door to the apartment. He found Aria

watching TV in the living room.

Aria already heard the door open before Lawrence came into the living room. Without saying a word,

she stared at the television screen.

Lawrence watched Aria before he took off his coat and placed it in the closet. He changed his shoes to

slippers before he joined her on the sofa.

He settled himself on the sofa beside Aria and watched what she was watching. "What time did you get

here?" Lawrence asked with his eyes on the screen.
