Chapter 2
I don’t think I have many colors on my face, but I do my best to cover it up, because Matt is looking from Yan to me. I say:
“I thought you would be here and…”
Yan interrupts me:
“As soon as you left I ended up lying on your bed anyway. She knocked on the door and when I opened it, well, I guess she didn’t expect to find me here.”
He has that sexy half-smile again, full of history between the lines, which is ignored by Matt, but which makes my cheeks burn. Matt seems to have believed it because his face looks different than when he looked at us a few seconds ago. Then Matt heads toward the kitchen. I look at Yan and try to ignore that he is still shirtless and now I can see that he has several tattoos and I find that I am staring at him again. So I look away and say softly:
“Thank you.”
He smiles and I am starting to find his smile interesting. And I don’t think it’s right to feel that way. He says he is going back to bed and I walk toward the kitchen where Matt is.
“Different clothes.”
Matt tells me as we drink coffee. Just thinking about it makes my breathing start to feel different because I remember what happened earlier. So I just say:
“It was supposed to be a surprise for you, but I don’t think it’s going to work out anymore.”
He looks at me with wild thoughts. He comes toward me and I ask, laughing:
“What?”
But he just picks me up and I’m laughing as we go into the other room where Yan is supposed to be. Matt puts me down after we enter the bedroom and as he tries to untie the knot of my trench coat and kiss me at the same time, I say:
“Isn’t it kind of weird, with him here?”
He knows who I’m talking about and says:
“Yan is not a child, he is already 18 years old and from what I know he has dated more girls than I have in my 22 years.”
I end up laughing along with him but thinking about what he said at the same time. Does Yan date many women? So that’s why he seems so arrogant. But I don’t want to think about him now. Because I’ll be embarrassed again if I remember all this. Now I’d rather think about doing something else. Now I want Matt.
…
“I have to go.”
“Really?”
Matt grumbles pulling me back to the bed. I turn over and give him a kiss saying:
“I have to clean the house.”
He looks disappointed that he can’t convince me, but he knows I have to go. He turns to the corner and says:
“Yan is probably still sleeping and I will do the same.”© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
I say goodbye and call him later. I tie my hair and leave the room. Before I leave I go to the kitchen to get some water let’s just say Matt has made me sweat a little and thinking about it makes me want to go back to the room and spend some more time with him. I am still biting back a smile when Yan walks into the kitchen shirtless and with his hair all messed up. He walks past me, looking me up and down with that smile on the corner of his mouth, and goes towards the refrigerator to get something. I take a long drink of water.
Because no matter how dressed I am now I know that when he is looking at me, he is seeing me just like earlier today. He turns around with a soda in his hand. He looks at me as he brings the bottle to his mouth, I know he doesn’t do it in slow motion, but I see it like this. The way the muscles in his abdomen and arms flex with this simple movement, it’s kind of hypnotic. Matt is not like that, he has a defined body, but he doesn’t have these tattoos and… Damn!
He realizes that I’m staring again. I try to say something to cover it up and say the first shit that comes to mind:
“Why are you awake?”
As soon as I’m done I want to disappear again, he’ll end up thinking his brother is dating a retard. And he smiles. At least I amuse him. He stops drinking his soda, looks at me, and says:
“I even wanted to sleep a little longer, but a girl was moaning so sexily on the other side of the wall that it made my sleep go away.”
I swallow hard. I swear my face is burning right now. Matt has said it a few times and I know I make noise when I’m fucking someone, but I swear I don’t even notice. Damn it again!
So I was worried about his brother’s arrival, something was telling me this wasn’t going to work out. I am still static. He still looks at me smiling, as he bites his lower lip with a look where I can see that he knows this has made me very embarrassed again. Then he laughs. And I find that not only is his smile interesting, the sound of his laugh is also pleasant. Then he says:”I’m sorry, but it’s just that you look funny when you look like that. He still looks at me smiling. I find that I am very annoyed with him. Who does he think I am? Some clown who’s just there to amuse him? I say nothing, give him my best glare and walk out and toward the door. He looks surprised at my reaction.
I don’t care, I just want to get away from this annoying human being. So I do. But as I reach the door, I hear him call my name. I don’t turn around and open the door leaving the apartment. A few seconds later already in the hallway, I hear the door open again behind me and him coming towards me asking me to wait.
I keep my steps steady as I walk down the hall toward the stairs. But his hands hold me down and I try to let go, he insists that I listen to him, I don’t want to, but he pushes me against the wall making me come face to face with him.
