Chapter 122 Who Gives The Green Light?

Chapter 122 Who Gives The Green Light?

Everyone stared at his hands for fear that they would miss the most thrilling scene.

“Bang!”

“It’s a 6 indeed!”

“How come?”

Audience were all stunned when they saw the card 6.

Tracy and Susan were also stunned. They went to great universities and knew much about probability.

It was nearly impossible to occur.

Round one: Baron got a 4; Karson got a 3.

Round two: Baron got a 5; Karson got a 4.

Round three: Baron got a 6; Karson got a 5.

It would be called the coincidence if it happened occasionally, but they both got the low-point cards for

three times on end. How come? Nearly impossible!

Most importantly, this was under Karson’s control, so was the croupier. Baron hadn’t touched other

cards dealt by the croupier aside from his own cards.

Also, he had been standing there, and Tracy helped him exchange for chips.

As a result, it wasn’t possible for him to cheat. If so, it must be the croupier.

That was so weird that nobody could buy it. In the meantime, everyone turned to stare at the croupier.

She was terrified to see Karson’s cards and became totally stunned.

“Thump!”

The croupier knelt down in front of Karson and said out of astonishment, “Lord, it’s not me!”

“Not you? How can you explain this shit?”

Karson rose to his feet at once and was full of rage. He had never been more irritated today.

“Lord, I really don’t know.”

The croupier was a young and attractive lady and she began to cry out of fear. Her makeup was

therefore destroyed.

“Mr. Karson, you cannot stand it?” Baron asked in a sarcastic manner.

“Shut your fucking mouth!”

Karson pointed at Baron, “You dare to cheat in front of me. You are really risking your life!”

“Sir, that is an exaggeration. It’s your place here and your croupier is responsible for dealing. I keep

sitting in my place, so how can I cheat?”

Baron laughed instead, “Someone just would win the welfare lottery. I just won three rounds over you.

Why isn’t it just my good luck?”

“If so, let me see whether you can maintain your good luck after I choose another croupier!”

Karson couldn’t find the evidence that Baron cheated with the croupier, so he could only continue the

game. He said to the attendant behind him, “Howard, deal!”

Howard was the manager who was in charge of the penthouse casino’s business. He was deeply

trusted by Karson, as he could deal.

Baron gave an easy smile, “It is okay. I will totally agree if you deal.”

His composure concerned Karson. Was it really the coincidence?

Sure enough, he didn’t expose his thought.

“Forty million!”

Baron staked all of his chips and Karson followed.

Karson’s attendants couldn’t hide their excitement when they saw a table of chips. Eighty million in

total!

Howard took out a new box of poker cards and began to shuffle.

His slim and long fingers were flexible and his shuffle technique was skillful.

He couldn’t become the manager but for his talent.

Baron saw all of his moves but said nothing.

But Howard himself didn’t notice that a tiny saw dust passed over him. It was flicked by Baron whose

hands were put under the table while Howard was shuffling.

“Bang!”

Howard stopped and bantered Baron, “Sir, do you want me to divide the cards?”

Baron replied lightly, “Go ahead directly!”

Karson focused on Baron and seemed to worry that Baron might hide some cards or play tricks.

He was disappointed to see that Baron kept his hands on the table except when Howard dealt.

Therefore, he couldn’t hide cards.

Karson hurried to take his card. He was relieved when he saw it.

“Bang!”

He threw the Joker onto the table in a thump and laughed coldly, “Let me see how you can win this

time.”

“You son of bitch! You must have been in a relationship with that bloke. You dare to cheat in front of

Karson!”

“Tell me about it! Three rounds on end. How come it is the coincidence?”

“Now I know the bitch colluded with Baron!”

Baron didn’t turn over his cards. Karson and his attendants all thought Baron would lose, and they

began to curse the former croupier.

The croupier was shocked and she kept begging, saying that she didn’t know Baron.

“Bloke, now you dare not turn over your cards? No matter who you are, I will not spare your life if you

cheat in my place.” Karson said arrogantly.

Baron gave a light smile, “Sir, I mean you don’t have to admit the failure. Allow me to take this lady

away and I will give up the money I won just now.”

“Fuck off. No way! Show me your card!” Karson scolded.

Baron shook his head impatiently, “Well, if you say so, as you wish, I have to keep winning!”

Then he turned over his card.

A colorful Joker came out and it amazed everyone.

Coincidence again?

Four rounds on end. And Baron’s card was one point more than Karson’s every time.

Except the five million stake Baron bought at the beginning, all the remaining chips were won by Baron.

“Mr. Karson, it seems that I am lucky and I should have bought some lottery. Maybe I can win a big

prize.”

Baron spoke and shocked the onlookers.

Karson became glum-faced completely.

“Lord, not me! The bloke is weird.”

Howard was also shocked and more flurried. Until then did he realize that the former croupier did not

betray Karson and it had something to do with Baron alone.

Karson also understood, but he didn’t know how Baron could play tricks secretly.

“Sir, go on?”

Baron laughed lightly, “Eighty million. All in!”

“I will lose all of my belongings if I do so.”

Karson shook his head, lighted a cigar and spit a circle of smoke, saying calmly, “I lose! These two

women are yours now.”

His attendants were all stunned, as Karson gave in. Everyone turned to look at Baron.

Who the hell was the man with a mask?

Susan looked at him in puzzle. At the very beginning, she abhorred the man who got her best friend.

But her sickness to him vanished as he won over Karson by a narrow margin again and again. She

was curious only to the man before her.

Tracy was also relieved. It was over and she could eventually leave here.

Baron stood up slowly, “Thank you! Don’t take the gambling too seriously. I won’t take away any buck.

As to the five-million stake, it can be used for my apology to you.”

Then he took Tracy away.

“Do I allow your departure?”

Karson began to shout at Baron.

Baron turned around and saw Karson lifted the Colt pistol to aim at his head. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
