Chapter 127 The Untidy Terry
Chapter 127 The Untidy Terry
Time passed quickly and it was July already. The weather was so hot and dry in Cona, especially in the
past fortnight, every day was sunny and in severe heat, as if it was an operating oven.
A fortnight passed after Terry lost Tracy to Baron.
Baron thought Terry would look for Tracy and Yuri, but to his surprise, Terry didn’t show up after that
day.
At the Citizen Square, Cona.
As the sun rose, the sunlight was sprinkling on the ground.
Terry was lying on a chair in the square. He woke up, rubbed his eyes, sat up slowly, and spread
himself, as the sunlight shined on him.
He went to the lake near the square, and washed his face. He felt upset when he looked at his
vicissitudinary face in the water.
He felt sorry for his two daughters. After he was dismissed from Perry Group, he had no job, but Tracy
and Yuri didn’t complaint. They supported him to live a carefree life.
Whenever he thought of losing his two great daughters, and the words that the man with a mask said to
him, he just felt very guilty.
He would be willing to exchange their freedom with his own life.
For the past fortnight, he had been out and looking for jobs, but no company wanted to hire him, even
some small companies.
Unconsciously, he was already weeping, and tears dropped down his cheek and into the lake.
Finally, he unleashed his pain, and burst out crying.
And later, he seemed to feel better, and he washed his face, and got on his feet.
“Tracy, daddy will find you!”
The only motivation now in his mind was to find Tracy and set her free. He had to straighten up and
earn as much money as he could.
Because he made up his mind that he wasn’t going to live for himself anymore, but for his two
daughters, for the rest of his life.
Few people were on the street, for the weather was so hot.
His face looked pale and skinny, and his lips were very dry, for he hadn’t filled up himself for days.
He didn’t shave himself and change his cloth for a fortnight. Now he was shaggy and stinky. Whoever
passed him, would quickly go away, frowning and covering his nose.
But now, he didn’t care that much about his appearance, for he had rebuilt his confidence just now. He
walked on the street, with his chin up and chest out, looking determinedly at an employment ad on a
wall ahead. He wanted a job now.
“Bang!”
Suddenly, he ran into a car, while he was looking around to seek employment ads.
“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to.”
Terry apologized hastily, in a terrified tone.
At this moment, as the window of the car rolled down, a familiar face showed up.
“Baron!”
Terry was startled, but in a split second, he said guiltily to Baron, with tears brimming in his eyes,
“Baron, I am very sorry, it was all my fault, I should have protected Tracy.”
Baron expected what Terry was going to react and say to him, for he was kept posted of Terry’s
movements, so he felt no surprises at all.
“But you don’t have to worry, I will not quit, no matter what it takes, I am going to find Tracy again, and
make her free.”
Terry suddenly said, in a firm tone. And he whirled around and walked away. He didn’t plan to borrow
money from Baron.
“Dad!”
At this time, Tracy and Yuri, who were sitting in the car, called out to Terry, with tears coursing down
their cheeks, as they saw their shaggy father.
Terry was shocked, and stayed still, shivering, as he heard the familiar voice sounding behind. His eyes
bulged. He didn’t dare to turned around, for he thought it might be an illusion.
When Terry was still in confusion, two girls jumped out of the car, rushed to him, and hugged him tightly
behind, in spite of his stinking smell.
Until that, he was assured that it was not illusion. They really were Tracy and Yuri.
He was even more excited when he heard Tracy, for he thought he would never have the chance to
see her again.
Terry gradually became emotional and started crying. They now were embracing each other tightly.
“It was daddy’s fault, I apologize…”
Terry said while he was weeping himself out.
Seeing this, Baron felt happy, for the little trick he used now worked.
Terry was pulled into the car. Tracy and Yuri sat next to him on the back seat. Stink of Terry was
floating inside the car, but Tracy and Yuri didn’t care. They held him in arms instead.
Baron drove to a SPA center, pulled over, and passed a handful of bills to Terry, “Dad, take it, go inside
and take a bath. After that, we will take you to get some fancy outfits.”
If Terry got in a cloth boutique with a smelted body like now, he would be rejected before entering.
Terry took the money, for he wasn’t with a single penny, although he felt like he shouldn’t take it. He
said seriously, “I owe you. I will pay you back when I find a job and earn my money.”
After finishing his words, he left the car, before Baron said something.
Baron smiled, looked at Tracy who was sobbing, and said, “I know you feel sad about dad, but he had
changed a lot after suffering so much in the past fortnight. He will not be the same as before, so we
have to cheer up.” Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Baron, thank you. If it wasn’t you, I can’t imagine how dad is going to be by this time,” said Tracy
gratefully.
Yuri also sobbed, and said, “Baron, it is so lucky for Tracy to marry you. You will be happy!”
“Of course, we are happy,” said Baron, who smiled faintly.
And for Terry, he got in the SPA center already.
“You stinky beggar, what the hell are you coming here for? Where is the security? Get him out of here!
It’s damn smelted!”
The lady at the reception counter screamed, with her nose covered.
“I am not a beggar, I got money, I come here for bath.”
Terry explained hastily, gesturing the money Baron gave him.
Quickly, several securities with a baton rushed over. As they saw him, they pointed their batons at
Terry, and yelled, “You damn beggar, how dare you come to Domom SPA. Get the hell out of here, or
we will beat you up!”
“I do come here for a bath.”
Terry said in a hurry tone.
“Fuck you! You crap are not allowed to come in Domom SPA! Who the hell do you think you are?”
The security captain kicked at Terry. Terry was so weak, for he hadn’t been filled up for days.
He could not bear such a kick from a man weighted more than two hundred pounds. Terry was kicked
out of the door and fell hard on the ground.
