Chapter 167 Had No Humanity Left

Chapter 167 Had No Humanity Left

Paris suddenly froze.

And then Baron pointed at Bryan, “And you!”

Everyone opened their mouths in surprise. Paris and Bryan were from the first-class families in Kato.

The words indicated Baron had offended two powerful families!

After hearing this, Bryan couldn’t restrain his anger, but Kenny tapped him on the shoulder.

“The jerk reached my limit, Kenny!” Bryan roared.

Kenny raised his hand and smacked Bryan right across the face. “Shut up! If you are rude to Mr. Owen

again, you will be kicked out of our Woods family!”

Bryan felt his face burning and the pain made him more conscious. A modicum of calm cooled his rage

now. He did not speak again.

Kenny got in front of Baron and said, “Sorry, Mr. Owen! Bryan was rash and stupid. I will teach him a

lesson he would never forget.”

Then he turned to Bryan and shouted, “Leave with me!” They walked to the door, and Paris joined

them.

The whole group fell silent. They were more confused by Kenny’s manner. Why Kenny swallowed his

rage, and exactly who Baron really was, the questions were bothering them.

“Mr. Owen, they all not allowed to attend my auctions forever. Is that OK?” Edith asked politely.

“OK, that’s good! Thank you for your help!” Baron said, smiling.

“It is my pleasure,” Edith said. Then he checked his watch and turned to the crowd. “Attention, our

auction is starting soon!” he announced.

At this time, Charles came back and whispered in Baron’s ear. “I found Sarah, but she was locked in a

glass case. I think she will be auctioned later. And there are four other women with her. The McGill

family was very much part of the sex trafficking in the Domom SPA, I can assure you.”

Baron nodded and said, “OK, I got that. You can go home now.”

Charles was a little puzzled but he didn’t say a single word and left.

Susan stared after Charles curiously. From him, she felt a horrible kind of pressure. Then she turned to

Baron, who was next to her. He not only had a black-and-gold card but also had a strong man

protecting him. His identity was a mystery.

Paris, Kenny and Bryan walked out of the Dragon Club angrily.

“Kenny, do you want to see the jerk get away easily?” Bryan said bitterly.

“How is that possible? He shamed our Woods family in public! I am not going to let him get away with

it,” Kenny sneered.

“He must die, Kenny!” said Bryan through clenched teeth.

Kenny turned to Paris and asked, “Do you have an idea, Paris?”

Paris knew perfectly well that Kenny tried to drag him into the trouble. He nodded, “Don’t worry, I will

take care of it.”

“OK, that’s good,” Kenny said with satisfaction. “I’m sure you can do it! We are waiting for your good

news!”

It was apparent that Kenny wanted to put his Woods family out of the crisis. Paris felt a ripple of anger,

but he choked it back. He nodded, “You may rest assured.”

And then they parted and went home.

By this time, the Dragon Club was packed and loud. The applause and cheers of the crowd filled the

whole room.

A young woman, in her twenties, walked onto the stage as the crowd cheered. She was the auctioneer

tonight.

While Baron was looking at the auctioneer, a low gurgle of laughter reached his ears. “You like this

woman, right? I will tell Tracy about it,” Susan said.

“Enough of this nonsense!” Baron said. Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Relax. It’s a joke. Don’t worry. Your secret is safe with me,” Susan said.

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the auction. I’m Alice! I’m looking forward to your

bidding actively for the goods you like. And I’m wish you good luck! And now let us begin with our first

item, a treasured sword. We start at ten million,” Alice said, with a big smile on her face.

“Twelve million!” A voice called out.

“Fifteen million!” Another one said.

“Fifteen million! Going once, going twice, last calling. Sold! Congratulations!” Alice said loudly.

Just like that, for half an hour many precious items were sold in the auction.

“OK! Let’s go on to the next item, the most eagerly awaited part. It begins now! Look at this! Our NO.5

lady!”

At these words, a spotlight swooped onto the stage. A glass case appeared in the middle of the stage

and there was a young woman inside!

Baron watched in silence and a wave of anger appeared in his eyes. The McGill family auctioned

women in public! It demonstrated the family had no humanity left at all.
