Chapter 170 It Was a Warning
Chapter 170 It Was a Warning
Baron could kill the McGill family effortlessly, but he was concerned that would ruin his plan.
Because once the McGill family was exterminated, their evil deeds would not be exposed, and Baron
would not know whether there were people behind them or not.
That was the reason he spent heavily to win the girls, and then released all of them.
“Folks, this is all for tonight, please leave here.”
Edith ended the auction in a hurry, for he noticed something terrible would happen soon.
The audience wanted to stay and saw how the conflict would be ended between Baron and Trump, but
they had to leave, for they didn’t want to be in the opposite of the McGill family.
The audience left pretty soon, except Kris Brown and Susan Lewis.
“Why are you two still here?”
Edith asked sullenly, frowning.
Kris replied coldly, “Mr. Bush, isn’t it appropriate for McGill Auctions to do so?”
“It is Bill Davis who can’t pay the bid, why McGill Auctions force Baron to pay for it?” said Susan
bravely, in a loud voice.
“It was none of your business, don’t you be afraid that your family would be involved in troubles?”
Edith said, looking calm, and it was more threatening.
As expected, Kris and Susan looked bad, after they heard what Edith said. Especially for Susan, she
knew if she made her family into a conflict with other families, her father would definitely punish her.
Kris felt a little bit nervous, but when he thought of what Baron was capable of, he calmed herself down
quickly.
“If the McGill family really go hard on my family, then I just have to take it!” said Kris with obvious
coldness on the face.
Susan felt her heart slightly sank. She just didn’t understand why Kris was so tough against the McGill
family for Baron.
Edith felt a little bit anxiety, for he could tell Kris meant what he just said in his eyes.
And for Baron, he still looked confident, as if he was backed with something very powerful.
Edith felt his stomach sank when he recalled that Baron had an infinity credit card.
“Mr. McGill, I have a solution. How about we cancel the last bid, and keep the lady with us?” said Edith,
after keeping silent for a while.
Trump would not let it pass, for now was the best time to take revenge on Baron, as he was kicked by
Charles at the door.
“The McGill family ran this auction, and how could it be possible to cancel it so easily?”
Trump jeered, “Don’t blame me if I go hard on him, because I did plan to sell him the beauty at a lower
price, but he just turned me down.”
“One hundred million dollars, pay it right now, or you die. I am going to give you one-minute head start
before I get you killed!”
Trump clapped his hands after his words, and a bunch of big men wearing black suits flooded in and
encircled Baron.
Seeing these big men, Edith was dumbstruck, and shrieked surprisedly, “Mr. McGill, you bring them
with you here!”
Until that moment, Edith realized that Trump going hard on Baron was not for helping Bill out, but for
taking his own revenge.
Otherwise, it was not necessary to bring bodyguards of the McGill family with him.
There were twelve black men in total, and everyone was holding a sharp dagger, looking coldly at
Baron.
The aura around them sent chills down the spines of Kris and Susan, who were shocked, looking pale.
Susan unconsciously grabbed Baron’s jacket, and started quivering slightly.
“You two leave first!”
Baron suddenly snapped to Susan and Kris.
“What are you going to do with it?”
Susan asked nervously.
“I stay here to solve the problem.”
Baron said coolly.
He was touched by Susan and Kris, for they were still with him, even though now was a dangerous
moment.
“If you don’t pay the bid, no one can leave here!”
Trump made a sardonic grin.
“One minute is over, tell me your decision!”
Immediately, the bodyguards took a big step forward, and daggers in their hands were glowing.
Baron still looked calm. He shook his head, “Isn’t it good to be alive? Why don’t you have to fight with
me?”
He strode towards Trump as he finished his words.
At the moment, Trump felt his heart sank sharply, sweating, as if he was hunted by a demon.
“Freeze! Stop your steps!”
“If you dare to take one more step forward, I am going to kill you!” roared Trump testily.
“Whirr!”
Suddenly, a flash shadow came before him.
“Snap!”
Everyone was alarmed by Baron, who passed through the bodyguards and got to Trump in no time.
When the crowd came to their senses, they saw Trump was floating in the air, holding on the neck by
Baron with a single hand.
Trump kept struggling, with his two feet kicking in the air, and his eyes filled with horrors.
“Put him down!”
Trump was almost stifled, and Edith yelled indignantly.
Edith would sure be punished by the McGill family if Trump died in McGill Auctions.
The bodyguards moved and encircled Baron again, but no one dared to come forward.
Because Baron could have Trump killed at any second.
Susan bulged her eyes. She was sure that Baron saved her with the same move when she was
attacked in front of the Lewis Manor, although she did not see clearly how he did it.
Kris felt his heart beating crazily, breathless.
As for Bill Davis, he was trembling violently, looking very terrified.
“Tell me, should I pay one hundred million dollars now? Or you will get me murdered?”
Baron looked up to the pale face, and moved his lips, disregarding the amazement of the crowd.
Trump could not speak, and felt like he would be smothered to death. This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
“Mr. Owen, would you just calm down, we can talk it through, put him down, please,” said Edith tensely.
Baron ignored it. When seeing Trump was about to faint, he loosed his grab.
And Trump fell down softly, and immediately started to take big breaths.
“Now, tell me, do you still want me to pay?”
Baron trod on Trump’s head, looking down at him, and asked.
“No, I don’t, and you can take the woman with you, for free!”
Trump said in a terrified tone. He wasn’t cocky anymore, for he was trod down on the floor now.
“Let go of her now!”
Baron snapped.
“Edith, what the hell are you waiting for? Just release the woman!” screamed Trump hastily.
Swiftly, Sarah was brought out, and she knew she was saved when she saw Trump was stepped on
the ground.
“You two take her out now!”
Baron spoke to Kris and Susan, as he saw Sarah came out.
Susan seemed to want to say something, and Kris said, “Miss Lewis, we go first, Mr. Owen can handle
it himself.”
Susan then shut her mouth, biting her lips, took a worried look at Baron, and then left.
“Mr. Owen, could you please let go of Mr. McGill now? I have done what you ordered.”
Edith said cautiously, and stayed still.
“Actually, I don’t want to offend the McGill family today, but you insist to go hard on me, then I just have
to fight back hard on you. But it won’t be ended so easily the next time.”
Baron stopped talking, moved his foot aside, turned around, and left.
The black crowd parted, but still looked indignantly at Baron. It seemed like they would act instantly
once Trump commanded.
Trump was greatly upset, for he wanted to kill Baron, but he couldn’t.
Edith was so worried that Trump might do the wrong thing again, so he kept shooting him warning
glances.
Trump did not make any command until Baron walked to the door.
All of sudden, Baron stopped, took a pen on the desk beside him, and whipped.
“Puff!”
The pen shot out and through the center of Bill’s forehead very fast like a bullet.
“Bang!”
Bill fell backwards down straightly, and his face expression was still in a relaxation.
Trump and Edith were stupefied and terrified.
