Chapter 178 Ask Sion Back

Chapter 178 Ask Sion Back

At Kyle’s command, the twenty-odd men ran to the entrance of the warehouse and sealed it off.

The surrounding workers were struck dumb. They’d never seen such a large gang before.

Terry, too, was taken aback, but he reacted quickly. These people sure didn’t have good intentions.

“What business do you have at River Construction Materials, sir?”

Terry walked up in front of Kyle and stammered.

Looking at Kyle’s outfit and appearance, especially the deaths-cross tattoo on his chin, it was clear he

wasn’t someone he wanted as an enemy.

Kyle shot him a mild look. “Who are you?”

“My name’s Terry Perry. I’m the general manager of River Construction.”

Terry gave his station.

“Isn’t the general manager of your company Sion? Piss off. I’m only going to talk to Sion.”

Kyle’s expression was ferocious, as if he really were here to talk to Sion.

“Sir, Sion has been dismissed. I’m responsible for everything in the company now. Talk to me about

anything you need.”

Terry was furious, but he could sense that this man couldn’t be taken lightly, so he was careful with his

words.

Kyle slapped him across the face. “Did I not make myself clear?”

The fact that the Wilson family had put him in charge of the Dynasty Nightclub was proof of his

capability.

The slap left an immediate imprint on Terry’s face, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

The surrounding staff and workers were too terrified to speak.

Kyle scanned the area, then said coldly, “If Sion doesn’t show today, none of you are leaving!”

A dozen long trucks stopped at the entrance of the warehouse.

Seeing the scene, Terry grew even more flustered.

He’d come here in person today because there was a shipment of outgoing steel. These dozen trucks

were here to take them out.

The trip alone cost quite a bit of money. Any delay would have to be shouldered by River Construction.

The transport costs aside, the biggest loss would be the breach of contract. If the steel didn’t get where

it should be going according to the contract, River Construction would have to pay a fortune in

reparation.

“Do something, Mr. Perry. If we delay, the goods won’t get there in time, and we’ll be breaking the

contract.”

Terry’s assistant said in a panic.

“Are you taking the goods out or not? Any more delay and we’re leaving, and you’ll still have to pay the

transport costs.”

The man responsible for the trucks started urging them impatiently.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Enfield, when we’re done communicating here, we’ll start loading up right away!”

The assistant stepped up and promised.

“According to the terms of the contract, if the cargo isn’t loaded in half an hour, we have the right to

leave, and your company will still have to pay the transport costs. You’d better hurry up.”

The truck manager’s voice was mild.

“Relax, Mr. Enfield, we’ll load up the trucks in half an hour!” the assistant assured.

Terry’s face was ugly. In all the time he’d been in River Construction Materials, he’d never come across

something like this.

Getting the warehouse entrance blocked so they couldn’t load up.

He sure understood, Kyle probably really wouldn’t leave if he didn’t get Sion here.

“How’s this, sir? We’ll get in contact with Sion and have him come here if you could just move aside

and let us put the cargo in.”

Terry suppressed his anger and walked up, forcing a smile.

“Motherfucker!”

Kyle kicked Terry off, sneering, “You really think you’re something, shithead? I move for no man but

Sion.”

Terry rolled several times on the ground before coming to a stop, his brand-new suit stained with dust

and dirt.

“We could’ve discussed things amicably, what’s with the violence?”

The assistant was afraid of Kyle, but seeing Terry get slapped and kicked, he was getting angry.

“Fuck! Talking to Kyle like that – you’re dead!”

Before Kyle could say anything, one of his men rushed the assistant.

“Mouth off again and I’ll beat the shit out of you!”

The brute kicked the assistant down and didn’t stop, stomping on him several more times. Dirtied, the

assistant’s face started to bruise.

“Enough!”

Terry rushed up and pushed the brute away even while he kept beating down on the assistant. “If you

keep this up, I’m calling the police!”

“Call them! I want to see if those police would get in my way.”

Kyle remained thoroughly cocky.

Terry trembled with anger, but understood that Kyle had come here knowing his capabilities.

“Mr. Perry, maybe we should just call Sion and get him here?”

The assistant wiped his bloody nose and looked at Terry.

Terry took a deep breath, calmed himself the best he could, and took out his phone, dialing Sion’s

number.

“Who’s this?”

Sion said impatiently.

“It’s me. Terry.”

Terry’s voice was low.

“Oh hell, it’s Mr. Perry. What’s the chairman’s right hand doing calling me?”

Sion’s tone was mocking.

“Sion, there’s someone here at the warehouse looking for you. I need you to stop by!”

Terry spoke, his eyes full of resentment.

If it hadn’t been to get the cargo moving, Terry wouldn’t have spoken so humbly to Sion.

“Are you getting something wrong, Mr. Perry? You fired me, remember? What are you joking around

having me come to the warehouse for?”

Sion chuckled coldly, while laughing it up on the inside. Of course he knew full well what was going on. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

“If you come over here and resolve this, I’ll speak to the chairman about getting you back in River

Construction Materials.”

“It’s not impossible to have me come here to fix your mess, Mr. Perry, but speaking over the phone

seems a tad insincere. If you mean what you say, then come pick me up personally!”

Sion was silent for a while, then spoke.

His goal might have been general manager, but if he could get back to his assistant position, that was a

good thing too.

“Where are your? I’ll come pick you up right now!”

Terry grit his teeth.

“Rose Gardens! Contact me when you’re there!”

Sion said, then hung up.

“I’ll go get Sion right now!”

Terry ended the call, then turned to his assistant. “Keep an eye on the scene. Call me should anything

happen.”

Then he left straight away, heading to Rose Gardens.

He kept his foot on the pedal all the way there. The trucks would only wait for half an hour. Which

meant that he had to see Sion somehow within this half-hour.

Then he had to convince him to call Kyle and have him clear the entrance for the workers to start

loading the cargo.

Just as Terry drove off, Baron’s car arrived at the warehouse. He got off and saw the twenty-odd men

blocking off the entrance.

In the lead of these men, a middle-aged man sat there on a lawn chair.

“What’s going on?”

Baron walked over, his face cold.

Terry’s assistant saw Baron approach and ran up, overjoyed. “Mr. Chairman, sir. These people are

blocking our shipment. In a bit over twenty minutes, if we don’t load up, the trucks here for the shipment

are going to leave, and we’ll have to pay the transport costs according to the contract.”

“Where’s Mr. Perry?”

Baron frowned.

“These people say they want to talk to Sion. Mr. Perry gave Sion a call, but Sion is forcing him to pick

him up in person,” the assistant explained in a hurry.

Hearing that, Baron had a pretty good idea of the situation. His gaze grew icy.

“A bunch of small fries making trouble on my territory – you must be asking for it!”

Baron’s glare fell on Kyle as he spoke.
