Chapter 40 Confronting a champion boxer
Chapter 40 Confronting a champion boxer
In the meantime, Baron’s car arrived at the Scorpion Club.
Seeing the neon light at the front gate, he did not plan to slow the car down. Instead, Baron stomped
hard gas pedal and headed the car directly towards the gate.
BANG!
With a loud noise, his sedan knocked right into the nightclub. His front bumper severely crashed into
the reception desk before it stopped.
"Fuck! What happened?" Countless people looked at the scrapped black car.
BANG!
Another noise came. The side door of the car was kicked off. Baron jumped out right away.
All people around had an unbelievable look on their faces, with their eyes rounded. The guy just walked
out unharmed, from such a devastating car crash. Not even ONE scratch.
“Boss, a car just crashed into the lobby!” a panic-looking manager of the club went upstairs to report.
“Waldo remained calm, questioned with a slight frown, “You are the manager, you tell me, why should I
worry about a car accident?”
Though in fact, Waldo was confused in his mind, the lobby was not facing a drivable route, how could
this practically be possible?
“I believe the driver comes with an ill intension. He asked for you as soon as he walked out of the car.
Oh, forget to mention, he took care of all our bouncers.”
The crazy driver single-handedly punched-down every bouncer. Even for an experienced night
manager, it was a new record.
No longer confused, Waldo got a grip of the situation from the manager’s response. He sneered,
“Alright. Bring the guy in.”
“But sir, this guy looks dangerous-”
“Did I stutter?” Waldo stopped the worrying manager’s words.
“Right on, sir. I’m on it.” The manager took the order despite his doubt and turned to leave.
“Son of bitch came fast.”
Waldo kept sneering, while opening a suitcase, and showed the cash in it.
“Here, you give him pain, three mil, all yours.” Waldo challenged the bulky man who was hiding in the
shadow of the room.
When the manager walked to the lobby on the first floor, more than a dozen of were all lying on the
ground at the moment. None was on his foot.
Aside from Baron, there was a big guy behind him. This was naturally Charles, who followed Baron like
a shadow.
At Charles’ foot, there was also a man covered in blood, like a beaten dog.
The man's face was covered with blood. Otherwise, the staff at the nightclub would definitely recognize
him.
"Uh... well my boss is at the VIP room on the top floor. Please, welcome. No harm please." The
manager trembled when he saw the people lying all over the hall.
Sure enough, Baron knew this trap for Tracy was against him.
Baron headed for the elevator. Charles took the leg of the unconscious man and dragged him over the
floor, leaving a bloody trace.
The Scott family lived on entertainment business, and made it to the top families of Cona. Half of the
show biz at Cona belonged to the Scott family.
When it came to entertainment biz, gangsters had to be involved. Anyone that made trouble at Scott
family's place, was either a fool, or really brave.
"Who are the two fuckers? Fucking dare to mess up with the Scott family?"
"Just two nutcases. Really, they think they can just walk in and leave in one piece?"
"Well last time a young stud made a scene at one of the family’s places, he was found dead in the river
the next day."
……
Almost no one thought that Baron and Charles could walk out alive.
"Worry not my friends, all the drinks on the house! Mr. Scott wants everyone to have fun! Please,
continue!" The manager picked up the microphone and said loudly.
After his words, the heavy metal rock music sounded again, and everyone cheered, "Hear, hear. Mr.
Scott!"
When the downstairs resumed lively, Baron and Charles were already on the top floor.
In the VIP room, Waldo smiled a bit, looking at the two young men who suddenly broke into the door.
As for the blood covered man who was dragged in, he didn't even look at him.
“So, you are the legendary Baron Owen.” Waldo sat on the sofa in a slack posture, with a fine cigar in
his hand.
Behind the boss, a hulky topless giant with a meaty upper body was standing there.
Since Baron and Charles entered the room, the topless bouncer was staring at them, with a
ruthlessness look.
And on the sofa far inside, there lied a familiar figure - Tracy Perry.
Baron almost snapped off when he found out Tracy Perry passed out. Seeing that her clothes were
intact, Baron managed to spit a few words.
"It appears that you have been waiting for a long time?" Baron coldly gazed on Waldo.
Waldo gently spit out a mouthful of smoke and squinted at Baron, "It is indeed a while. If it wasn’t for
you to witness something amusing with your own eyes, maybe your wife has become the play toy of
this black brother."
There was a moment when Charles physically felt the chill of Baron’s killing intent. This old brat Waldo
Scott did not know the result of messing with Baron Owen. It could be worse than death.
"Young master, allow me to deal with him! No need to stain your hands." Charles stepped up before
things got uglier.
Baron waved his hand, walked to the coach against Waldo and sat down, then squinted at him, “It
seems you didn’t learn from your son’s misfortune days ago. When the same issue happens to the
father, what do you think the newspaper would say?”
‘Broken Back Mountain, the untold secret between the father and son of the Scott family’, what do you
think of this cover story?” Baron asked with a smile.
"Haha!" Waldo laughed without anger, "Interesting! When was the last time I smashed an arrogant
young brat like you? It must have been years."
"I’m no match to you son, as far as arrogance goes."
Baron squinted, "Your son is a foul garbage who kidnapped a good woman. I was still wondering what
kind of family he grew up from. Now I understand seeing you. Like father like son!"
"What’s your deal? You, are a guy who married into a small family, talking to a father of the top family in
town? How dare you talk to me like that?" Waldo dropped the remaining cigar in his ashtray. He
suddenly eyed Baron while his smile disappeared.
"Well I guess that only means my dick is big enough to support my point," Yang Chen said with a smile.
Waldo did not avert his sight, "Very funny. Keep bluffing, any words could be your last."
“You want a bet? After knowing who you are, I still come here empty handed? Seriously, you calling me
a fool?” Baron suddenly sneered.
"What do you mean?" Waldo suddenly had a bad feeling. He followed Baron's gaze and looked at the
figure under Charles’ feet.
The body shape, height, and clothes were all the same. Waldo was not sure about it until he saw a
mole on the man’s neck. Then his eyes widened suddenly, and he stood up and shouted, "Wallace!"
“Dude, I gave you one job, alright? Beat the shit out of this fucker till his old man couldn’t recognize
him. One simple job. ” Baron turned to Charles with a confident smile, “Now you failed.”
Charles grinned, "Forgive me young master, I will not fail you again!"
The dialogue between Baron and Charles made Waldo’s ever-smiling face completely distorted. He
gritted, "I didn't want you dead. But now, I have changed my mind!"
“A lot of people want me dead, some are qualified,” Baron stared right back, “But you, are unqualified.”
Baron suddenly jumped up as his aura suddenly skyrocketed. A killing intent rushing toward his face NôvelDrama.Org content.
made the brawny startled and took a step back subconsciously.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Baron strode towards Tracy.
"Kill him for me! Five mil!" Waldo said grimly.
The frightened bouncer was suddenly encouraged because of the raise. He rushed to intercept Baron.
Baron ignored the muscle man and kept striding, seeing only Tracy.
Waldo said sternly, "Samba is the champion boxer from Heukwok, his can blow your head with one
punch! You are dead if you don't dodge!"
Waldo watched Samba swinging his fist at Baron’s head, began to picture the killing blow, and sneered
in frenzy.
“Fuck off!”
But Charles was faster. With a loud shout, he rushed to confront Samba.
"Crack!"
With just one punch, Samba's wrist broke at the right angle. The crisp sound of breaking bone echoed
extremely clear in this quiet VIP room.
