Chapter 6 Tammy Cho
Chapter 6 Tammy Cho
Laura gave Ruben a sourly glare, "I always tell you to study hard, but you just don't listen. You didn't
read enough, that's why you know so little."
Ruben rolled his eyes, "I'll look it up on the internet if you don't tell me."
"Before hell is empty, he will not become a Buddha. Kṣitigarbha lives in hell!" Laura intoned.
"What does that have to do with Foul Energy?" Ruben remained puzzled.
"Silly boy. We're human, and it's never too good to have a Buddha that suppresses ghosts in your
home. Not to mention that there's the scholar's resentment on it."
Ruben nodded, "I kind of get it."
Ronald shouted, "Butler, help me pack up the kṣitigarbha and take it to the doctor's place!"
"By the way, Doctor, I've forgotten to ask your name. Sorry about that."
Augustin also gave a curious look.
"My name is Cosimo Lincoln," Atlas replied.
In his previous life, Atlas was broken-hearted and taken away from Earth by his master. He then
assumed the name Cosimo Lincoln and was later honored by all the worlds as Emperor Cosmos.
Ronald took out a Violet Gold Card from his pocket and solemnly handed it to Atlas with both hands,
"Dr. Lincoln, this card contains one million. It is my payment to you. I hope you won't refuse!" Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
"Dad, there’s ..." Ruben suddenly shriek. But before he could finish his sentence, he was stopped by
Ronald's stern voice.
"Shut up!"
Laura bit back her words when she saw Ronald's stern face.
Atlas couldn't understand why Laura and her son were so shocked to see the card. It was only one
million, and Atlas pocketed it like a piece of trash.
Ronald saw Atlas casually taking his Violet God Card and couldn't resist reminding him, "Dr. Lincoln, I
only have three of those cards. One for the mayor of Lanceham, one for Beckett Jackman, and one for
you!"
"I hope you treat it properly and discreetly!"
"Got it," Atlas said blandly, not taking Ronald's words to heart at all.
"Dr. Lincoln, can I still live in this house from now on?" Ronald was a little uneasy.
"Yes."
"That's good." Ronald was relieved but had decided in his mind to sell the house immediately.
"I'm going back!" Atlas said.
"I'll send a car to take you!" Ronald said.
"Okay." Atlas nodded with a matter-of-fact look on his face.
Ronald was even more convinced in his mind that Atlas must be a hidden master. There was a
common problem with these extremely talented people, and that was, they had a big ego.
Ronald decided that he would treat Atlas with more respect in the future.
Atlas returned to the Sinclair Clinic.
In addition to Viviana, Francis was there.
There was also an 18-year-old girl in a red dress. Although she was not as mature and pretty as
Viviana, she was still a beauty.
Tammy Cho, the child of Viviana's eldest uncle, was a few years younger than Viviana and was an
equestrian.
In his previous life, all of Viviana's relatives and friends basically looked down on Atlas, except for
Francis.
He was an orphan adopted by the Sinclair family and was a live-in son-in-law, so he was naturally low
in status in the eyes of those relatives.
Atlas was a loner from an early age, and neither his elders nor his peers liked him.
So in Atlas' mind, apart from Francis, he didn't like any of his relatives or friends of the Sinclair family.
"Atlas, you’re back!" Tammy's smile was sweeter than her voice, except that she looked at Atlas with a
disdainful expression.
"Yeah." Atlas responded indifferently before greeting Francis with a smile, "Auntie!"
Francis gave him a loving look and laughed, "How many times have I told you? Call me mum."
Atlas smiled awkwardly. In his previous life, it was fine, but in this life, now that he knew what Viviana
had done, Atlas no longer considered her as his wife, so naturally, he could not call Francis Mum.
Francis put away his smile and said seriously, "Atlas, your uncle is treating us to a dinner at the
Sealada Hotel at six o'clock tonight. We'll all be there, so remember to get ready!"
Atlas nodded and smiled, "Yes!"
He remembered the dinner. It seemed that Francis' little brother, Jessie, had been promoted and was
inviting his friends and relatives to the famous Sealada Hotel for dinner.
Jessie was a snob and despised Atlas in his previous life, and if Francis hadn't stood up for Atlas,
Jessie wouldn't have even looked at Atlas.
Atlas remembered that Jessie took the opportunity to humiliate him in front of all the guests at the
dinner.
But later, Jessie got carried away and seemed to have offended someone. Instead of being promoted,
he was fired and made a fool of himself.
Jessie then blamed Atlas for the incident, saying that Atlas brought bad luck.
Francis was furious and had a quarrel with him, and the mood swing even got her into the hospital.
"It seems the course of fate hasn't changed much, and this dinner is still happening."
"But this time I'm definitely not going to let Francis get sick from being raged for protecting me."
Atlas placed the wooden box containing the Kṣitigarbha statue in the corner. Foul Energy was also a
form of energy, and his Sky Devouring Methods could transform Foul Energy into Spiritual Power.
But that would have to wait for Atlas to enter the Foundation Phase.
Tammy took Viviana's arm and pouted, "Sister, I heard that a new horse farm has opened in
Lanceham. Why don't you go with me and have some fun!"
"I don't know how to ride a horse. Find someone else to go with you!" Viviana smiled and refused.
"You can stay with me. What if I meet a bad guy by myself?" Tammy continued to pout.
Francis laughed, "Viviana, it's not easy for your cousin to come to Lanceham, so go with her!"
"Right, Atlas, you go too, and take care of Viviana and Tammy."
"Auntie, there's no need for that. I'll be fine with my cousin and me." Tammy looked at Atlas with disgust
in her eyes.
Viviana also looked indifferent. It was clear that she didn't like Atlas following either.
Francis' face was solemn as she said, "No, you two are both girls. You have to have a man with you so
that I can rest assured!"
"Alright then!" Tammy gave in straight away and gave Atlas a stern look.
Atlas didn't want to join them either, but Francis asked and he couldn't refuse.
Seeing that Atlas didn't say anything, Francis smiled again, "Atlas, come along and have some fun!
Take care of them, okay?"
"Okay." Atlas nodded.
The three of them left the clinic. Tammy and Viviana walked ahead and Atlas followed far behind with
his hands in his trouser pockets.
"Sister, didn't you say you hated my brother-in-law? Why didn't you refuse when Auntie asked him to
follow us?" Tammy protested in a small voice.
Viviana said in a defeated voice, "You know my mother's temper. You have to let him follow us unless
you don't want to go out and play!"
"Forget it, forget it. Let's just pretend he's invisible!" Tammy's voice was full of mockery.
Atlas' hearing was far superior to that of an ordinary human being. The two thought they were being
careful with their conversation, but Atlas heard every word.
If Francis hadn't told him, Atlas would have turned around and left by now.
The three took a taxi to a horse farm called Skyex Riding Club, and Atlas followed them in.
They seemed to be trying to get away from Atlas and were walking fast.
This was what Atlas wanted and Atlas followed at a distance.
The riding club was large and had five tracks. Tammy took Viviana to another track while Atlas took a
seat at a nearby rest area.
"Isn't that Kept Man A? What are you doing out here by yourself today? Aren't you afraid your wife will
make you sleep on the couch when you get home!"
