Chapter 511
Chapter 511 Partners In Crime (Part 2)
*Selena*
I stood my ground, determined not to let him sneak past my facade.
"I told you the truth, Alpha. Please let me go," I insisted, my voice laced with indifference as I stared back at him, challenging his authority.
But instead of letting me go, he grabbed my hand, pulling me closer, taking me in his arms.
My breath hitched, the proximity between us was overwhelming.
"Why do you want me to go hard on you? Tell me what's going on in that tiny head of yours," he groaned, his arrogance dripping from his voice.
"Nothing is going on. I am here to do my job. That's all," I gritted out, meeting his gaze with defiance. "Let me go," I whispered angrily, the frustration building within me.
He smirked at my failed attempt to break free from his hold.
"Leave me, or I will shout and tell everyone that this perverted Alpha is taking advantage of me," I threatened, glaring at him. But to my despair, his gaze made my resolution weak. Amused expression crept across his face. "Go ahead," he taunted, his voice filled with confidence.
Then I remembered that the room was on the second level. No one would hear me through the thick walls of his room. However why would his pack members believe me?!
Frustration mingled with curiosity as I searched his eyes.
"What do you want?" I frowned, trying to understand his motives.
"You!" he replied promptly, surprising both of us.
I narrowed my eyes, watching his lips part as if he was taken aback by his own words. Huh?!noveldrama
He shook his head slightly, regaining his composure.
"Was it Lyon again?" I asked, still entangled in his arms, wondering if Lyon was influencing his behavior like last time.
"Umm... Yeah!" he sounded hesitant, and that was strange.
"I want an honest answer," Zander's voice turned cold once again, his cockiness returning.
"I gave you an honest one," I snapped, bitterness lacing my words.
"Then I need to check your body. What if you have stolen something from my room?" he threatened dangerously, his eyes narrowing.
"What?" I exclaimed, taken aback by his sudden demand.
"Wait!" I shouted as his hands began to roam over my body, inching my clothes up.
The contact of his fingers against my skin ignited sparks, causing goosebumps to erupt wherever he touched me. But he didn't stop, his touch becoming more insistent, slowly dragging my T-shirt up.

key. I had to think fast. Planting my hands firmly on his chest, I pushed against him with all my strength, desperately trying to create some distance between us. His eyes darkened as he glanced at me heartbeat pounding against my palms. He was all hard and every groove and ridge of his chiseled torso was so meticulously carved, my fingers etched to move further and feel what lay beneath his shirt.
"You... You can't do this to me. You can't undress me in your room," I protested, my voice trembling with a mixture of anger and fear.
"As if I'm doing it for the first time," he smirked with a cunning glint in his eyes.
I needed time. Time until Blair could manage to open the door. I trusted her with my life, and I knew she wouldn't leave me alone with this dangerous beast.
I could trust her, right?!
But, until then, I had to hold on and stop him from finding the secret. I needed to, and I knew how to distract him. I masked my expression with a seductive look on my face.
"So, you still remember everything," I
teased in a sensual tone, my eyes peering deep into his. "Tell me, what do you miss most? Me on top of you, orus having sex in the lake

I took pleasure in seeing his eyes darkened a shade, furrow deepened between his brows and his jaws clenched.
"Selena!" he growled, his voice holding warning and desire intertwined.
"Yes, Alpha!" I moaned, biting my lip provocatively.
"Don't play with me," Zander growled, his breathing ragged. His chest heaved, eyes hooded as if he was fighting for control.
"I won't dare, Alpha," I breathed out, my own voice filled with a mix of desire and urgency.
But it wasn't all acting. The way his body pressed against mine, the way his touch sent tingles through me his overpowering smell, his eyes watching me with hunger-I couldn't deny the physical response. My body acted on its own.
"Tell me!" he demanded in a voice so low and deep, laced with desire.
But before he could continue, he seemed to be engaged in a conversation through the mind link. A wave of relief washed over me as his grip on me loosened, and he turned to leave the room.
"It's an emergency," he mumbled as if informing me. Suddenly he halted in his steps, turning to glance at me with his cold blue eyes.
"But we're not done yet," he announced in his Alpha voice, his eyes locked on mine.
Who cares? I rolled my eyes, watching the arrogant Alpha King exiting the room.
I quickly left the room and found Blair waiting for me outside. She pulled me into her room, closing the door behind us.
"How did you do this?" I asked in amazement, grateful for her intervention.
"Well, I told Maddox to call the Alpha for an urgent matter," she replied, casually observing her nails. "And he knows better than to refuse. Otherwise, I have his secret," she giggled mischievously. "Goddess, Blair, you're such a badass," I laughed, grateful for her quick thinking.
"But it worked for you," she winked, grinning. Yes, she had saved me once again.
Now, with the key in my possession, I had to take its imprint and return it to Zander's room. I had everything I needed to create a duplicate key, and tonight I would complete the job.
