Let Me Go, My Mafia Husband

Chapter 671

Chapter 671 Setting The Trap

*Damon*

"Lord Damon, my witches have been captured by Alpha Zander Blake," Cassandra whimpered, her voice trembling with fear. "I fear the ruthless Alpha King will show them no mercy, and I'll lose my most skilled warriors."

Cassandra had always been loyal to me. Even when I wasn't in control of the vampire kingdom, she had stood by me, ready to assist in any way, her army of witches at my disposal for any war I commanded.

"Don't worry, Cassandra," I reassured her, trying to offer comfort. "Their sacrifice won't be in vain. I will take revenge on Alpha Zander Blake. His downfall is only beginning."

She shook her head slowly, her eyes distant, as if grappling with some unsettling thought. "No, Lord Damon," she murmured, her voice softer now, almost a whisper. "I have a feeling... something very bad is coming. I advise you to be cautious when making your move against the Alpha King and his family."

I gritted my teeth. How dare this witch try to offer me advice? I resisted the urge to lash out. I needed her and her witches to achieve my goals, and once I had what I wanted, I would show her and the rest of them their place.

Just as I was about to dismiss her and send her back to the vampire kingdom, the dark Alpha arrived, accompanied by Oliver-Alpha Albert's son.

"What brings you here, Oliver?" I asked, grinning. Every time he came, he brought good news.

"Everything is set according to plan, Damon," he replied, that filthy smirk plastered across his face.

It still amused me how he and Selena shared the same blood. She was an angel -pure, selfless while he was the complete opposite, indulging in nothing but darkness and deceit.

Yes, I remembered everything about Selena the moment the spell was broken- right as I was worshipping the Warlock God.

"That's good," I nodded.

"But there's a problem," he added, his smirk fading slightly. "The witches captured by Alpha Zander-they could spill everything about us." There was a hint of fear in his voice, and it irritated me.

I was sick of hearing my allies tremble at the mention of that so-called Alpha King. He was no match for me, yet somehow, he had managed to instill fear in all of them.

"Cassandra, I need you to deal with this problem," I commanded, turning to the witch.

"Don't worry, Lord Damon," she replied, her voice cold and devoid of emotion. "I have full faith that my witches would rather die than utter a single word against me or you."

"If you say so," I murmured in a dangerously low tone, my gaze locking onto hers. She understood exactly what betrayal meant—and the consequences that came with it.

"What is your next command for us?" she asked.

"We will wait for the right moment, just as planned," I smirked. "Then, we will attack the Moonglow Pack."

With Alpha Albert's help, we had

already infiltrated their security. That was why the Dark Alpha could enter undetected and unleash havoc whenever he pleased. Our plan was nearly complete. We could strike at any time, but we were waiting for the God of Destruction's instructions.

He had assured us that he would remove Selena from the pack before the attack, ensuring she remained unharmed. After all, we needed her alive for her wolf.

The ancient wolf, Arena, was the key to the power we all sought. The only

question was: Who would be strong enough to claim it? Only time would answer

it.

"My father, Alpha Albert, is going to

let the Dark Alpha enter the pack again," Oliver explained, his voice laced with twisted excitement. "He'll wreak havoc, kill more pack members, and then Anne will step in

to create a misunderstanding net

between Zander and Selena. After that, they'll pin the blame on her for the murders. Zander will have no choice but to cast her out of his pack-and his life. Then, she'll have nowhere to go but back to her realm."

He spoke as if he had devised the plan himself, boasting like some cunning mastermind.

Idiot werewolf.

"Alright, now leave and make sure the plan is executed flawlessly," I

commanded, dismissing them with a wave of my hand. Their presence bored me.

I had no patience for their pathetic faces anymore. It was time to focus on

something far more important-honing my powers.

"Understood, Lord Damon,"noveldrama

Cassandra bowed gracefully, her

dark robes billowing as she gathered the silken end of her cloak over one shoulder. The deep emerald fabri shimmered faintly in the dim torchlight, embroidered with

intricate symbols of ancient

Her jet-black hair cascaded down her back, framing a face that was both ageless and terrifyingly beautiful, her piercing violet eyes glowing with an otherworldly intensity.

Oliver followed her, leaving without a word.

Finally, I was alone.

The time was drawing near. Soon, I would reclaim everything that had been stolen

from me thousands of years ago. Once I seized control of this world, my reign would begin again-stronger, deadlier, and eternal.
