Chapter 530 Carla, Come Back With Me! (Part One)
Sally asked her mom as she kept spinning around in front of her. She had a great big smile on her
pretty little face as she was doing this.
The little girl never really had an opportunity to wear such a beautiful dress when they were living in the
mountains. But above else, she was floating on cloud nine having all of these people, whom she just
met, loving and pampering her.
"Of course, dear. Sally is our pretty little princess!"
Carla replied, beaming Sally a smile while holding her hand. Sally was like a fluttery yellow butterfly as
she joyously ran around the yard.
This was the first time ever since they came back that she was able to really feel at ease. Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Meanwhile, just outside the yard of the Hua family's residence, Terence was silently and anxiously
watching everything. No matter what he did, he couldn't stop his hand from shaking as he leaned into
the black fence. Worst of all, his heart was thumping so much like it was about to jump right out of his
chest.
It all felt like an unbelievable dream playing out in front of him. He couldn't help but wonder whether it
was all real or if his eyes were only playing tricks on him.
Carla...
His precious Carla was finally back. She was standing right there, but it felt like she was still beyond his
reach.
"Mr. Terence, is there anything wrong? Are you alright?"
Rainer asked, feeling a bit concerned when he noticed that Terence's hands were shaking like crazy.
Even though he offered to lend him a hand, Terence opted not to take it in the end.
Hopelessly unable to take his eyes off of this woman standing in the yard, Terence worriedly asked,
"Rainer, tell me the truth. How do I look? Do I look good right now? What do you think about my hair?
Do you think perhaps I should get my clothes changed?"
"Um, Mr. Terence, I think you already look really great right now,"
Rainer gave him a bit of reassurance upon checking the way he looked.
Being a man himself, Rainer found it hard to deny that Mr. Terence was truly outstanding in all aspects
including his appearance, aura, etc. But among everything else, what stood out the most was the love
he had for Carla, which was so deep and pure.
Somehow managing to get a grip, Terence went past the fence and walked into the yard.
He could clearly hear his heart pounding like a drum as he went in.
"Daddy!" Sally was the first one to notice him approaching.
The second she laid eyes on him, she excitedly called out to him and wanted to run toward him.
However, before she could do that, she noticed that her dad's eyes were completely glued to her mom
at that moment.
It seemed as though the little girl didn't exist and he hadn't noticed her at all.
When she realized that, Sally instantly made a face.
When Carla heard Sally yelling, she turned around to look at the gate of the yard. It was Terence.
Could he be feeling much better this time?
The doctor advised her not to ruffle his feathers for the time being. That was actually what convinced
her to take Sally and go back home to HA City in the meantime. Why did he suddenly come here
without giving a heads-up?
Right now, he seemed to be acting a bit strange.
With his gaze fixated on Carla, who was also looking straight into his eyes at the same time, he was so
lost in the moment that he almost tripped over Sally's toy which was lying on the ground.
Seeing him like that, Carla couldn't help but burst into laughter. Terence glanced at the toy swan which
was moving on the ground and walked over it. Then, he stopped and stood right before Carla without
uttering a single word.
"Why are you here? What's the matter with you? Is there anything wrong?"
she queried, looking up to him.
With his eyebrows deeply knit, Terence wasn't able to catch what Carla meant by what she said. That
being said, none of that mattered to him at that moment. He reached out his sweaty hand and pressed
it against her face with his fingers shaking like a leaf.
"Carla, you... You are back? You are really back?" There was a quite a tinge of pain in his voice.
Now, it was Carla's turn to caught off guard.
She gave Rainer, who was standing right behind them and playing with Sally, a look of confusion.
Noticing the apprehensive expression on Carla's face, Rainer gestured toward her stealthily.
Carla came to the conclusion that Terence had probably gotten his memory back. It could be that he
recovered his memory due to the stimulation he got that evening? Rainer had filled her in about
Terence being forced to forget her via hypnosis.
"Yes, I'm back,"
Carla replied, quietly letting out a soft sigh as she looked into his eyes.
'Well, this should be fine, ' she thought. It didn't matter that he considered this meeting as their first time
seeing each other again after so many years of being apart. Carla tried to encourage herself by
thinking of the first few times they had met as some sort of preparation for this moment.
Terence just couldn't take his eyes off of Carla. Truth be told, he was so raring to wrap his arms around
her. Be that as it might, he couldn't bring himself to do it, because every single time he tried to embrace
her in his dreams, she would disappear immediately. With that in mind, he couldn't risk having her
disappear in front of him anymore.
"Oww, that hurts,"
Carla cried out in pain when Terence suddenly grabbed her injured hand by accident. Her hand got
injured by the mirror when the two of them were having an argument the day before.
But all of that didn't seem to matter anymore since the result was what she had wanted. His memory
finally returned.
"How did you get yourself hurt?" Terence anxiously asked right away, furrowing his eyebrows.
