Love is the Sunshine

Chapter 532 He Is Such A Bastard (Part One)

Chapter 532 He Is Such A Bastard (Part One)

Since Terence and Carla were currently in the Hua family residence, they wouldn't be able to freely do

what they wanted to do.

More importantly, Terence didn't think that it would be right for Carla to stay with the Hua family for so

long.

Given that the two of them were married, leaving this household and living on their own should be the

proper course of things.

"What? It has barely even been a day since I got here. And I also haven't even seen Sean yet," Carla Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.

replied, shaking her head in total refusal.

She had just arrived at the family residence earlier this morning. In addition to that, Sean had already

been sent to a boarding school, so he wouldn't be back until the next day.

"You don't have to worry about that. I will have someone take him back to JA City as soon as he

returns. You should just go inside right now and tell your mother that we'll be on our way," Terence said,

trying to give her a sense of reassurance as he held her hands. This was his plan all along. He

intended to walk inside the house with Carla to tell Andrea that they were about to leave.

However, Carla simply shoved him away and told him straight to his face, "No, I'm not going back with

you. Now that I'm here, I would like to stay at my own home for a couple of days, at least, so I can

spend time with my mother."

She might have said that, but her heart was feeling the exact opposite. Truth be told, she really couldn't

care less about how long she would be staying here with the Hua family at all.

Conflicting feelings were flooding her and making things difficult.

What she really felt anxious about was that Lucy and her daughter were still living at the Seaview Villa.

If she were to go back there with Terence immediately, things would get extremely complicated. The

situation she was bound to face was making her feel so uneasy.

To Terence, it was plain to see from the expression on Carla's face that she didn't like being touched by

him. When he noticed that, his eyebrows became deeply knit as he asked, "Carla, what's the matter? Is

there something wrong?"

"Mr. Terence, if I could give my two cents, maybe we should just wait until Mrs. Carla is ready to come

back home with us. She has been away from her mother for four long years, and they just got reunited

today, so I think they still have a lot of catching up to do. If you insist on bringing Mrs. Carla back, well,

wouldn't it be..." Nathan gathered his thoughts and cleared his throat before going on and saying,

"Wouldn't it be too much too soon? We even came here without a warning.

And besides, now that she's back, you have all the time in the world to spend with Mrs. Carla, don't you

agree?"

Nathan saw that they were having a row, so he walked over toward them in an attempt to clear the air.

He couldn't help himself from getting worried about his boss's current mental condition. Terrence had

been having those vague images flashing in his mind recently.

Before Carla came back, all he needed was a good night's sleep to get fully recovered. With that in

mind, Nathan was afraid that if Terrence woke up the next day, he might forget everything that

happened today and end up ordering Mrs. Carla to leave. For that reason, Nathan suggested that

today wouldn't be the best time for Terence to bring Carla back with him to JA City.

"Nathan, please be quiet."

Reaching for Carla's hand, Terence held it in a tight but gentle grip and said in a rather low voice,

"Carla, come back home with me, alright? Even for just a week, it would be totally fine. After that, I'll

send you back to your family if you want. So, now could you please promise me that you're going to

leave with me today?

Standing right next to them, Nathan was on edge as he listened.

It should go without saying that he, too, would love for Carla to go back with them. However, he was

also well aware that Lucy was still in the villa in JA City. If the two women came face to face, only god

would know what they might end up doing to each other. One thing that was certain, it would be such a

big mess.

The three of them, standing in silence, had different thoughts going on in their mind. There was just no

telling how things would go.

All of a sudden, Sally walked toward them and held onto Carla's other hand.

She curled her lips and said, "I won't let mother go back with you."

It was quite obvious that the little girl was still very upset. And it's all because Terence completely

ignored her as all his attention was focused on her mother from the moment he got there. She had

been calling out to him a number of times, but it was as though he just didn't hear her at all.

Raising his eyebrows, Terence shot a glance at the little girl, who pursed her reddish lips and appeared

to be in quite a bad mood. Seeing that, he leaned over a little and lifted her up in his arms, beaming her

a smile.

He tried to explain himself in a gentle tone, "Sweetie, I'm really, really sorry. Actually, I saw you when I

walked in. But it was just that I've been missing your mother so much that I couldn't take my eyes off of

her. So, I talked to her first. But that doesn't really mean that I don't love you. Do you understand now?

Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?"

"Really? Is that true?" Sally stared at him with her beautiful big eyes.

"Of course, it's true. I only have one daughter and that's you. You have every right to believe that I love

you deeply as well."

Acting like a doting and affectionate father, Terence glanced at his pretty little girl. He knew from an

instant that Sally, just like her mother, was very smart. She was truly an adorable girl.

"Well, I guess I can forgive you. Mommy, daddy seems to be feeling so lonely being left all by himself,

so we'd better go back with him."

Upon hearing Terence's explanation, Sally was so quick to switch sides and was now standing in the

same camp with him. She wrapped her arms around his neck tightly and lent him a hand in persuading

Carla.

"Sally, let go of him this instant and go inside the house to your grandma," Carla flatly said as she

looked at her.

"Carla," Terence called her name again. Seeing the look on Carla's face, he couldn't help but frown as

he stretched out his arm to hold her hand. Even though he had the faintest idea why she looked upset,

he knew that he had to take her home today at all costs.

It didn't matter what methods he was going to use. Now that they're all here, they had to come home

together as a family.

It felt like an eternity, living without her.

And he already lost count of how many sleepless nights he had.

Now that Carla was back and standing in front of him, he didn't want to relive that feeling and taste the

agonizing pain of being without her tonight.
