LYU 58
Ghea appeared visibly annoyed, wearing a frowning expression. Currently, she was in the dining room having breakfast with Randy before heading to work. Despite her husband offering to take the day off, considering they had just been ‘busy’ and even repeated the act earlier in the morning, Randy was worried that Ghea might feel tired or uncomfortable at the office later.
While Ghea pouted, Randy continued to smile. He even casually fed Ghea with the fried rice on the plate, encouraging his wife to finish the meal that Sandra had prepared for them.
“Don’t keep frowning, dear. You enjoyed what we did this morning, didn’t you? If I noticed correctly, you didn’t want to stop, did you?”
Ghea immediately lifted her face, sighing and squinting her eyes as she still felt irritated.
“You’re shameless!”
“Well, your husband is like this, Ghea. Just admit it, you also enjoyed what we did last night and this morning, right? How about we repeat it tonight? So Mama’s grandchild can be launched quickly. I admit, your way of balancing the game is also good. Where did you learn that, huh?”
Ghea glared again, bringing her hand to Randy’s mouth, intentionally silencing him. Glancing left and right, making sure no one heard what Randy just said. It would be embarrassing if the details of their intimate life were heard by their colleagues.
“Ssstttss,” Ghea whispered while pinching Randy’s arm and stomach until he winced in pain. It’s his fault for having such a loose mouth. “Can you not talk about this in the dining room? Embarrassing, Uncle!”
“Why embarrassed?” Randy looked puzzled.
“Well, it’s embarrassing. What if others hear it, Uncle? This is private stuff that doesn’t need to be flaunted. Seriously, Uncle, you’re ridiculous!”
Instead of staying silent, laughter erupted loudly from Randy’s lips. He found it amusing to see his wife scolding him like that.
“Well, I’m just happy. It feels like finding a treasure, Ghe. I just can’t express how happy I am in words.”
“Oh, come on, exaggerated!”
“Seriously, Ghea Walters. After what we did last night, aren’t you happy or satisfied? Even if you ask me to fast until I graduate, I’m thinking of accepting Stella’s offer.”
Ghea’s relaxed face turned irritated. Why did her husband suddenly bring up Stella, the air freshener issue? Especially since she had tried so hard to forget the recent incident when Stella confidently offered herself to share the bed.
“Don’t mess around, Uncle, do you want me to give you poison?! Not funny if tomorrow the news comes out that Akasia’s CEO died of cyanide from his own wife.”
Instead of being scared, Randy, who was annoyed, cupped both of Ghea’s cheeks while laughing. He planted a quick kiss and pinched her nose playfully.
“Joking, dear. How could I cheat? Even if I’m a playboy, I’m not reckless.”
“Ah. Not convincing,” Ghea protested, shaking her head. Could Randy be serious just once?
“For God’s sake, Ghea. If I cheat, you can sue me in front of a notary according to our agreement. Just so you know, I belong to the category of faithful and loving husbands. I’ve told you, you’re lucky to be married to me.”
Ghea rolled her eyes lazily. It’s challenging to give her husband even a slight opening. He immediately used it to show off and boast about himself. Well, even though what he said had some truth to it.
“Enough already. I really don’t want to discuss this. Let’s just go to work, okay?”
“Are you sure you want to work? Not tired? Or do you want to rest first?”
Ghea immediately stood up from her seat, grabbing her work bag from the chair next to her. The girl responded to her husband’s words.
“I’m fine, Uncle.”
“In that case, tonight I’ll make you unable to walk.”
“Don’t be crazy!” protested Ghea, shaking her head. Can Randy be serious just once, even if only for once? “Besides, if I don’t work, the division head will look for me. It’s not nice just because I’m the boss’s wife to take it easy.”
After spending some time in the dining room, exactly at eight o’clock, Ghea and Randy left for work. Upon arriving at the office, Randy happily escorted Ghea to her office first. Only after that did he go to his own office.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
“You took so long to arrive,” complained Darwin. He and Kennedy had apparently arrived early in Randy’s office. It wasn’t clear what business they had, but they bothered to stop by.
“Why are you both here so early? Why didn’t you give a heads-up?”
Randy then approached Darwin and Kennedy, who were already sitting on the sofa. As he took a seat, Darwin immediately handed over a folder containing documents that Randy probably needed to check soon.
“Actually, we’re in a hurry. We really need your signature, Ran. It’s about the apartment construction project in Melawai. Turns out, there are revisions needed for the contract copies. So it needs to be signed again.”
Randy promptly opened the folder he held. After reading briefly, he quickly signed as Darwin had requested.
“There you go. I’ve signed everything. Now, both of you hurry up and leave. I’m busy today.”
Darwin immediately sighed. Randy, his cousin, was rude, not bothering with any small talk and directly dismissing them. Usually, Randy would offer coffee or tea before letting them leave.
“Oh, come on. So stylish. We also don’t want to disturb you,” said Darwin, grumbling lazily. Meanwhile, Kennedy, who was sitting next to Darwin, could only smile.
“But, by the way, Ran. Tonight, Darwin and I will play billiards as usual. Since tomorrow is already the weekend. You follow us as usual, okay!”
Randy, who had just turned on his laptop, looked up. Glancing at the clock for a moment, he responded to Kennedy’s statement.
“I don’t think I can, Ken. I’m busy tonight,” he said with a serious expression.
“Busy? Are you working overtime or what?”
Randy nodded.
“Yes. I’m working overtime tonight.”
“Working on a deadline for which company?” Darwin asked curiously. It’s rare for Randy to work overtime. As far as he knew, his cousin was usually against spending too much time in the office.
“Not working on a company deadline,” Randy replied casually.
“Well, then?”
“I’m working overtime to achieve the goal of giving Mama a grandchild.”
Kennedy and Darwin were both surprised. They looked at each other before Darwin was the first to respond.
“What do you mean? Are you and Ghea going to-”
“Yes!” Randy quickly interrupted, as if he could read what Darwin was about to say. “Ghea and I have made out.”
This time, Darwin and Kennedy were equally shocked. They burst into laughter upon hearing what Randy told them.
“Oh my God. Finally, you get to experience the joys of the world, too?” teased Darwin. “How is it? You must be addicted, right? From your lustful face, it’s clear that you want to be in the bedroom with your wife all the time.”
Randy sighed. This time, Darwin was intentionally mocking him.
“Don’t mock, okay!”
“But… how did it happen? Ghea said she didn’t want to have a relationship before she graduated.”
Randy leaned on his shoulder, answering Darwin’s question arrogantly.
“I told you. No one can resist my charming appeal. I’ve said it from the beginning. Ghea will eventually surrender.”
“So, Ghea asked first?” Darwin inquired. He was too curious about Randy’s marital matters.
“Do you want to know or do you really want to know?” Randy intentionally responded, immediately met by Darwin’s laughter.
“Ah, forget it. No need to tell. It’s not important.”
“But, congratulations to you, Ran,” said Kennedy sincerely. “I hope in the near future, you can really give Mama Verona a grandchild as she wishes.”
“Thanks, Ken, for your wishes. I hope the efforts that Ghea and I make will yield results soon.”
“But, Ran,” Darwin interrupted. “If you need tutorials or tips on making out, you can take a course with me. As far as I know, you don’t have any experience, meaning you’re inexperienced. The label may be a playboy, but with zero skills.”
Randy tightened his jaw in annoyance. He really wanted to curse because Darwin was really underestimating him.
“Enough. Just go home. The longer you stay here, the more lectures you two will give.”
“Are we seriously being kicked out?”
Randy nodded, allowing his two cousins to leave his office.
“Rather than me calling security.”
Darwin, annoyed, finally got up from his seat. In his heart, he promised, be careful, at some point, he had to retaliate for what Randy did to him today.
